Minneapolis Dems: We Know Our Election Was Rigged But Let’s Keep The Results Anyway

The voting process at the Minneapolis Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party convention in July was such a mess that state DFL leadership investigated and nullified the local party’s endorsements. Now the Minneapolis DFL wants the state DFL to restore the results it nullified and give the endorsement back to DFL candidate Omar Fateh, a member of the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA), KSTP Television reports.

Fateh is challenging incumbent DFL Mayor Jacob Frey, who came in second in the shady Minneapolis endorsement convention.

Court action threat to ‘tribe’ refusing to leave Scottish woods

Their colourful attire and even more lurid behaviour have generated headlines around the globe.

However, the saga of an “African tribe” squatting in a Scottish wood looks set to come to an end after they were threatened with court action after being served with an eviction notice for a second time.

The residents of the Kingdom of Kubala — in reality a man, his wife and their “handmaiden” — claim they settled in the Borders to reclaim land stolen from a black Jewish tribe 400 years ago.

Avi Benlolo: A void of moral courage at the very heart of the Liberal party

Leadership in the fight against antisemitism is measured not by words, but by action. This week, Quebec MP Anthony Housefather and 31 of his Liberal colleagues signed a statement on “the deplorable rise of antisemitism in Canada.”

It was a clear, moral and necessary acknowledgement of the hatred that is endangering Jewish-Canadians. The statement recognized that a Jewish woman was stabbed in Ottawa solely because she was Jewish; that synagogues, schools and Jewish-owned businesses are under threat; that monuments have been defaced; and that this reality has become chillingly normalized in our country.

A lack of moral courage? Nonsense they made a practical choice.

They just don’t want to upset the Muslims they imported and it’s not a fear of losing the Mohammedan vote bloc.

The LPC likes having these thugs on their side, they’ll come in handy as protection against Canadian citizens.

The Statistics War Over School Shootings Since Columbine, Especially By Transgender Shooters

Since the horrific Columbine shooting in April 1999, there’ve been a tragic number of American public and religious school shootings. No matter how “experts” gloss over their statistics, if a single death is a tragedy, mass killings are light years beyond “tragedy.”

Having lost a son in high school – not from shooting, but from another life-altering catastrophe – I can only imagine the tidal wave of grief engulfing the family and friends of those lost children.

Much less reported, though nonetheless a tragedy, is that a disproportionate number of these shootings were perpetrated by those who identify as “transgender.”

Mamdani and the Muslim Invasion of New York

Behind Mamdani is the rising Islamic takeover of the city.

In 2023, Mohammed made its appearance on the list of the top 10 most popular names for boys in New York City. Anyone paying attention to this seemingly minor statistic could have predicted the emergence of Zohran Mamdani as the Democrat nominee in the upcoming mayoral election.

Mohammed had appeared as the sixth most common baby among ‘Asians’ in New York City in 2013. By 2017, the name of the genocidal warlord of Islam had become the most common baby name among ‘Asians’ in the city. The rapid growth showed the power of demographics.

Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 106

Welcome.

Wait and harvest. That’s pretty well it at this point. Waiting for the cold weather to turn the plants off, genus by genus depending on their temperature resilience, leaving the Kale as the last plant standing.

Randall Denley: Premier Ford’s pro-union political theatrics won’t bring more jobs to Ontario

Strong leadership or political theatre? Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s attack Tuesday on international booze corporation Diageo can be seen either way.

The premier was in a fury over the company’s plan to eliminate a Crown Royal whisky bottling plant in Amherstburg, Ont. at the cost of about 200 local jobs, most of them unionized.

Labour council leader forced to resign after ‘calling grooming gang victims white trash’

A Labour council leader who appeared to call Rotherham grooming gang victims “white trash” has been forced to resign.

Dennis Jones was suspended by Peterborough’s Labour group following the revelation of his WhatsApp message to a young woman.

Independent councillor Daisy Blakemore-Creedon, 19, said she received the comment last month after writing to him: “I care about safety, and why should immigration put women’s safety at risk[?].”

Like our NDP the UK’s Labour Party absolutely despises the White working class.

Last pub in UK will call time in 2050 at today’s closure rates

Venues are shutting at five a day, hit by changing lifestyles and rising overheads. Micropubs offer hope but owners say they need government help to survive

In 1870 there were 115,000 pubs and “beerhouses” in the UK. With an adult population of about 15 million at the time, it meant one pub for every 130 people.

Fast forward to today, and the number has sunk to below 45,000, the equivalent of about one for every 1,000 adults.

The pub has long been a totemic part of British culture — so what is behind this decline and is there any chance it will be reversed?

ALBERS: One example of why Canada is broken — and why Alberta must choose

I confess, I admire the US Constitution. It is not perfect, but it is brilliant in its resilience. For 250 years, it has allowed America to stumble, argue, repair, and carry on without losing the thread of its republic. It adapts without amputating. It reforms without razing. Always striving for better without tossing the baby out with the bathwater.

And now — consider our own sorry spectacle this week. A prime minister, having failed to meet even one of his glittering campaign promises, cloaks himself not in Canadian maple leaf but in Ukrainian blue and gold. With flourish, he pledges $2 billion more in aid, perhaps even troops, as though Canada were a vault stuffed with surplus riches and battalions to spare. Noble? Perhaps. Accountable? Not in the slightest.

If Canada’s military wants the best and brightest, it needs to change its recruitment approach

RMC Royal Military College

The world is increasingly dangerous. Canada’s prosperity and sovereignty are under mounting threat from climate shocks, economic protectionism, ideological extremism, and predatory great powers. In this fraught security environment, our Canadian Armed Forces need smart and agile recruits who can leverage new battlefield technologies, navigate socio-cultural ambiguity, and respond quickly and strategically to threats.

But even after hitting a 10-year high in recruitment last year, the CAF is short roughly 14,000 personnel, and it is unlikely to meet Ottawa’s goal of achieving 25-per-cent female participation by next year.

Take away – Boys are bad. More girls needed and I’ll assume trannies are welcome.

How a Top Secret SEAL Team 6 Mission Into North Korea Fell Apart

A group of Navy SEALs emerged from the ink-black ocean on a winter night in early 2019 and crept to a rocky shore in North Korea. They were on a top secret mission so complex and consequential that everything had to go exactly right.

The objective was to plant an electronic device that would let the United States intercept the communications of North Korea’s reclusive leader, Kim Jong-un, amid high-level nuclear talks with President Trump.

The mission had the potential to provide the United States with a stream of valuable intelligence. But it meant putting American commandos on North Korean soil — a move that, if detected, not only could sink negotiations but also could lead to a hostage crisis or an escalating conflict with a nuclear-armed foe.

Chris Selley: Who’s against Canadian jobs for Canadian kids instead of for foreign workers?

Youth unemployment stands at 14.6 per cent, according to Statistics Canada’s latest release. That’s the highest non-pandemic July figure since 2009 (15.9 per cent), at the nadir of the Great Recession. It makes nothing but good sense that Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre would position himself, as he did on Wednesday, foursquare athwart bringing in any more temporary foreign workers to fill positions that certain employers swear blind they cannot fill with younger Canadians at any conceivable price.

The first time abuse of the TFW program made news a way back in 2014 it was discovered that Tim Horton’s actually built imported slaves into their business plan.

Tim Hortons: The Canadian icon Canadians won’t work for

Last week, the CEO of Tim Hortons laid out part of his case for why the chain needs to be able to hire temporary foreign workers. This is what Marc Caira told Bloomberg News: “If you don’t have access to some of the foreign workers where they are required, it will ultimately also impact on the Canadians that work in that area, because we can’t really deliver on the promise that we want in terms of delivering quality service.”

Translation: Let us import these workers, or the double-double gets it.

Elbows? Maybe. But Carney approval definitely down, vote intention returns to near tie

September 5, 2025 – Summer has come and mostly gone, and no trade deal has materialized between Canada and its largest trading partner – the United States. Amid this, Prime Minister Mark Carney’s decision to drop counter tariffs, as well as high expectations on other major issues like housing affordability and “nation building” have contributed to a drop in his personal approval for the first time since assuming the office, and an electoral outlook that is now deadlocked with the Conservatives.

Even the Elbow people will have to admit they were sold a gimmicky slogan and nothing more.
