The Secret Dreams and Twisted Fantasies of the Fanatical Left

Pinsker’s Law of PR #1: If you don’t know the problem your audience has, then YOU are the one with the problem.

That’s it, folks — the Big Kahuna. The #1 rule of PR. Problem-solving is where it begins and ends, and not just for PR: It also applies in sales. (Which makes sense, when you stop and think about it: Propagandists are still salesmen; we just sell storylines.)

Mark Carney seems to have given up on his climate change agenda

We don’t often get a look at a potential prime minister’s detailed policy proposals. But in 2021 Mark Carney published a book that laid it all out for us.

”Values: Building a Better World for All,” states in no uncertain, and often very complicated, terms what we must do to build a better world. But one of the key themes of the book is climate change and all the lost life, damage and general mayhem it is already unleashing and will continue to do so at an even more frantic pace, if we don’t do something about it now.

I don’t think anyone but a Star writer could believe that.

Mocked for using the wrong spoon: working-class life at top universities

Well at least one of them has Tats.

Dan was days into university when, at a freshers week event, his fellow students gathered in a circle to take turns stating how much their school cost per term.

The biological sciences student, 26, whose name has been changed, says that as a state school student at Durham University he quickly felt “alienated”.

Dan, who is from Cheshire, also claims another student imitated his friend’s Scouse accent.

Dan should be kicked out of the working class for being a weenie.

Ford government unveils $1B in Trump tariff relief

Battered by U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs, Ontario’s struggling auto, steel and aluminum companies are receiving $1 billion in support loans from Premier Doug Ford.

Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy said Wednesday that funds from the first phase of the province’s $5 billion “Protect Ontario Account” would soon flow to eligible employers.

Who ultimately pays for this “corporate salvation”?

Left-wing dark-money megadonors, including George Soros, contribute $20M to groups funding protests against Trump’s DC crime crackdown

Several lefty, dark money organizations, including George Soros’, contributed more than $20 million to groups funding protests against President Trump’s crime crackdown in Washington, DC.

Free DC, a “fiscally sponsored special project” of progressive nonprofits Community Change and Community Change Action, brought 150 demonstrators near the White House Monday to protest Trump’s plan to deploy National Guard troops in the district and federalize the city’s police department.

“Do not obey in advance” and “Take up space” are among Free DC’s “guiding principles,” and the group urges supporters to “go outside at 8:00 PM and bang pots and pans, sing, chant, or make noise for five minutes” every night “of this occupation.”

LAU: Toronto taxpayers should demand better of city’s homelessness services

According to a recent City of Toronto report, in October 2024, there were an estimated 15,400 people experiencing homelessness in the city — more than double the approximately 7,300 homeless in April 2021. Of the homeless population, about 80% stay in city-administered sites, 10% in provincially-administered sites, and 10% outdoors.

The Chow regime like all other leftists do not want to fix the homeless crisis.

They see it as a primary source of financing their pet projects and lining the pockets of their commie pals.

Trump Administration Weighing Immigration Ban on Members of Islamic Extremist Groups – Liberal Party Hardest Hit

Importing masses of uncivilized cultists was a great idea.

Top Trump administration officials are drafting plans to restrict both temporary visits and legal immigration by Muslims affiliated with the revolutionary Muslim Brotherhood and other extremist groups.

“We are taking a new look at sections within the INA [Immigration and Nationality Act] that have never been used before to really get a better sense of who these applicants are, and then we’ll be able to assess” what can be done to exclude militant Muslims, said Joe Edlow, director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency.

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) announced this week that it had canceled its invitation to screen a documentary about the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks, due to ostensible copyright concerns stemming from the fact that the filmmakers did not receive permission from the Hamas terrorists whose clips are featured in the film.

Trump Deportations Working As Illegal Aliens No Longer Able To Party In Public With Impunity

Party interrupted – all they wanted to do was celebrate their culture!

Small US towns cancel fairs celebrating Latino culture – ‘climate of fear is real’

Harrisonburg, Virginia, a town of 50,000 people in the Shenandoah Valley, should have been alive with the color, sound and smells of local Latino culture. Soccer tournaments, taco trucks, Salvadorian chanchona musical bands and about 4,000 visitors were last month set to attend the town’s Hispanic Festival held at a sports complex outside the town.

But this year, it’s not happening.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) agents have been active in the Harrisonburg area for months, prompting organizers to cancel the festival.

Tory police chief faces backlash over telling public to stop shoplifters

A policing chief is facing criticism over his “dangerous” comments telling the public to stop shoplifters and not just rely on police officers to curb thefts.

Matthew Barber, the Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, branded people who do not do anything in the face of shoplifting as “part of the problem”.

Shorter Globe: Canada’s Corporate Welfare Class Needs More Cheap Foreign Labour

Corporate Canada

Why to drop a bad idea on immigration

The federal government seems to be quietly abandoning a program that would have opened a door to permanent residency for temporary foreign workers employed in low-wage jobs in Canada.

The program, mentioned unceremoniously in a bulletin in the Canada Gazette in April of 2024, appeared to offer a quick path to permanent residency for international students and temporary foreign workers making a living as food and beverage servers, delivery drivers, cleaners and general labourers.

What sort of scumbags would happily sacrifice Canadians for cheap foreign labour?

Corporate Canada that’s who.

I swear they’re gonna make me some sort of new wave communist.

Doug Ford heading to Ottawa for a ‘heart to heart’ with Mark Carney

The summer bromance between Premier Doug Ford and Prime Minister Mark Carney will continue next week in Ottawa.

“So Monday, I’m going up to have a one-on-one meeting with the prime minister,” the premier told reporters Tuesday in Windsor.

With U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war on Canada, Ford said he would be appealing to Carney to lower taxes to “create the environment” to help people and businesses weather the tariff storm.

I’m sure Ford will be a big help.
