Tasha Kheiriddin: Carney knows he has to choose Trump over China

Well, at least he didn’t walk out. While U.S. President Donald Trump left the G7 meeting in Kananaskis Monday night, it wasn’t in the huff the world witnessed at Charlevoix in 2018. This time, after a day of huddles and the signing of a U.K.–U.S. mini-deal that slashed auto tariffs, Trump hurried back to the White House because of “what’s going on in the Middle East.” His exit left Prime Minister Mark Carney and the remaining five leaders to hammer out the rest of the agenda, from trade to security to artificial intelligence, while keeping a nervous eye on the Iran-Israel war.

Austria’s Left Pushes for Jail Time For Those Opposing Trans Surgeries For Minors

You don’t get this crazy naturally.

Austria has been shaken by a legislative proposal that, if confirmed, would represent a true authoritarian shift: parents who refuse to allow their underage children to undergo genital modification surgeries (commonly known as “sex-change” procedures) could end up in prison. The measure has sparked a wave of outrage, with many seeing it as a direct attack on parental rights and plain common sense.

Gen Zers Who Watched BLM Burn Down The Country Have No Sympathy For L.A. Riots

Riots have become an all-too-familiar sight on American television screens. The country seems constantly braced for radical extremism disguised as “peaceful protests.” The images of car burnings and “F*ck ICE” graffiti coming out of Los Angeles last week are only the latest. Unfortunately, these incidents are so similar to the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, that California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom tried to score some pathetic political points by correcting someone who mixed up a video from 2020 with a current video. In the five years since the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, California is still stuck in its fiery, lawless ways.

Has the SPLC finally met its match?

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a despicable organization. It has spent its lifetime attacking and lying about organizations that don’t agree with its leftist policies. But it’s finally being challenged for defamation by the Dustin Inman Society, an organization involved in immigrant issues. Unfortunately, SPLC claims they are a hate group and anti-immigration. The Society is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against the SPLC

LILLEY: Olivia Chow has to go but John Tory shouldn’t replace her

Not really that much difference after all

Olivia Chow needs to be replaced as mayor of Toronto, but John Tory is not the solution the city needs. The former mayor hasn’t ruled out running again; he has a team at the ready to run his campaign — and plenty of backers.

What the people of Toronto need to realize is that John Tory is the root of many of the problems facing Toronto, and that won’t change if he gets a fourth term.

I would never vote for Tory based on the World Cup deal negotiated in secret that leaves the tax payer on the hook for any losses.

Louise Casey: grooming gangs are still active in UK

Baroness Casey, whose national audit of child sexual exploitation was published yesterday afternoon, has today claimed that “it is clear” grooming gangs are still operating in Britain. Addressing the Home Affairs Committee in Parliament this morning, Casey, who serves as the Government’s lead non-executive director, said that “people don’t necessarily look hard enough to find these children in particular”, and that collecting incomplete data on the ethnicity of perpetrators has been “a bloody disaster”.

Anthony Koch: At G7, Carney has his elbows way down for Trump

The pundits, voters and strategists who enabled the Liberals’ dishonest campaign must be held to account

The last federal election was not an honest conversation about Canada’s place in the world. It was a performance — slick, poll-tested, and ultimately hollow. Mark Carney presented himself as a principled adversary to Donald Trump, a steward of Canadian sovereignty who would stand up to a dangerous and unpredictable United States. And now, just months into his premiership, he insists “the G7 is nothing without U.S. leadership,” his government has resisted retaliating against American tariffs, and has even expressed desire to join Trump’s Golden Dome missile defence program.

Carney promises Ukraine another $2B in military aid

BANFF — Prime Minister Mark Carney, in an attempt to “use maximum pressure against Russia,” has pledged $2 billion in spending, and an additional $2 billion in frozen Russian assets.

Carney also promised President Volodymyr Zelensky sanctions “against a number of individuals in Russia,” sanctions against over 40 entities “in Russia and beyond that are trying to contribute to the evasion of these sanctions,” and “the sanctioning of over 200 vessels in the shadow fleet that Russia is using to evade these sanctions.

He’s as bad as Junior.

Ontario’s Doug Ford says Netflix documentary on late brother Rob Ford is ‘disgusting’

Ontario’s Doug Ford says Netflix documentary on late brother Rob Ford is ‘disgusting’

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says a new Netflix documentary about his late brother Rob Ford is “disgusting.”

The doc titled Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem chronicles Rob Ford’s rise to power as Toronto mayor in 2010 and his chaotic time in office.

Speaking at a news conference in Toronto, Doug Ford said he wasn’t going to watch the film, and he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the creators.

I would still vote for Rob.

The Outbreak of Migrant-Related Crime and Rape in the EU

Various EU nations have endured an outbreak of sexual assault and violent crime as a result of compliance with EU migration policies.

On June 9th 2025, two migrants were arrested and charged with the attempted rape of a 14-year old Irish girl in the town of Ballymena.

In response, scores of beleaguered Irish people have now, for days, cascaded throughout the streets of Ballymena, in an effort to decry and protest the hyper-liberal migration policies that have decimated public safety in their hometown and transformed the once-noble Irish nation into a morass of violent crime and sexual assault.
