Rahim Mohamed: Selina Robinson’s ouster shows NDP has no place for Jews who don’t submit

Former British Columbia post-secondary education minister Selina Robinson could not have imagined that when she called what would become Israel in 1948 a “crappy piece of land with nothing on it” in a late January Zoom panel, she’d be setting off an ugly chain of events leading to her departure from Premier David Eby’s cabinet. Her comments were hardly a lie, if impolite, but Robison had made herself a target with the NDP simply for being a Jew who supports Israel.

Church of England Branded “Stupid” Over Migrant Conversion Claims

Forty illegal migrants being housed on the Bibby Stockholm accommodation barge in Dorset are reportedly converting to Christianity. That amounts to almost one in seven of those said to be on board.

But officials fear that migrants are faking conversions simply to have their asylum claims accepted, and are considering limiting the role of the Church of England in the approvals process. Allison Pearson, columnist at The Daily Telegraph, asked “how stupid and craven is the Church of England” to believe that all of these claims are genuine.

Canadian universities and colleges trying to come to grips with fallout from international student scam

Graduating Class of ’24

Post secondary schools across the country are trying to come to grips with the financial impact of the federal government’s cap on international study permits, assessing short-term issues such as visa processing delays and longer-term threats to entire programs and schools.

The study permit cap, announced Jan. 22 by Immigration Minister Marc Miller, is likely to mean a loss of hundreds of millions in tuition revenue across universities and both public and private colleges.

GUNTER: Canadian military in shambles thanks to Liberals’ underfunding and woke policies

Over the past decade, the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have lost 10 veterans for every nine new recruits they have added. Over the past three years, the decline has accelerated to 10 lost for every eight added.

No wonder our core troop strength should be 72,000, but we are currently limping by with fewer than 62,000, one of the lowest per capita rates in NATO.

Rowan Atkinson blamed for poor electric car sales by House of Lords report

Rowan Atkinson has been blamed for poor sales of electric cars in a report by the House of Lords.

Atkinson, known for Mr Bean and the Blackadder series, found himself the centre of a real-life drama on Tuesday.

The Lords’ environment and climate change committee was told that the star, 69, was partly at fault for “damaging” public perceptions of electric vehicles (EVs).

He spoke honestly that the public was being mislead about electric cars.

Lawsuit against convoy organizers moves forward

A $300-million class-action lawsuit filed against Freedom Convoy protesters, donors and organizers on behalf of downtown Ottawa residents and businesses is moving forward after a judge ruled against a motion filed by the defendants.

Superior Court Justice Calum MacLeod heard arguments in December for and against a motion brought under anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) legislation.

The legislation serves to protect people from vexatious lawsuits filed to silence opponents through legal and financial intimidation. Convoy organizers filed the motion in an attempt to have the lawsuit tossed, arguing it amounted to an attack on freedoms of expression.

Canada Must End Reliance on Cheap Foreign Labor, Minister Says

Canada’s immigration minister is taking steps to curb the country’s dependence on temporary foreign labor and international students, prompting pushback from business groups that say there aren’t enough domestic workers available to sustain parts of the economy.

Marc Miller introduced a limit on foreign student visas last month, cutting them by 35% for this year. He will announce further changes soon to restrict students’ off-campus work hours and he’s also reviewing the country’s temporary foreign worker program, he told Bloomberg News in an interview.

They said the same thing when the Temporary Foreign Worker program was exposed under Harpe.

It’s even worse under Trudeau. They’ll announce a short term lowering of the numbers and call it problem solved.

It’s all BULLSHIT. The foreign student and temp worker programs along with asylum seekers and family reunification intake are sideshows.

Until they lower the immigration intake of 500K a year it will only get worse.

Anti-white and woke agenda gets a vernacular rebrand in the corporate world

Now showing more anti white bullshit

I first became aware of this about three weeks ago—I was in T.J. Maxx, looking for a baby shower gift, and found diapers for “melanated” babies. I assumed “melanated” meant black, but since the packaging emphasized that what made this product “unique” was the addition of shea butter to the diaper lining, I didn’t really think much of it, and chalked it up to a marketing ploy—all babies, regardless of color, can benefit from skin-softening natural products.

The Border Crisis Is The Definition Of A Foreign ‘Invasion’

When the Rev. Al Sharpton used the word “invasion” to describe the onslaught of migrants at the southern U.S. border on Monday, his MSNBC guest suddenly stopped nodding along. And then the fast blinking began — he was triggered. Because to the American left, the word “invasion” is off-limits and even “violence-inciting.”

How Britain killed off its musical tribes

When the Teddy boys burst onto the scene at the start of the drab Fifties, they established the template for all subcultures to follow. There have always been ultra-loyal music fans of individual artists, but this was something else: a look, and a lifestyle. The pattern usually went something like this: establish a uniform, adopt a musical preference, stir up the media to a predictable frenzy (wittingly or unwittingly), be denounced in Parliament, endure hand-wringing editorials declaring that civilisation is about to collapse, and then gradually become yesterday’s news as the hysteria blows over. Oh and, most discreditably of all, be written off as old farts by a younger subculture who have stepped up to take your place in the firing line.

Clapham chemical attack suspect being helped by others, say police as new footage released

Detectives have said they believe the Afghan asylum seeker suspected of carrying out a chemical attack in Clapham is being helped by others, as officers began to “target his associates”.

Officers from the Counter-Terrorism fugitive team have been tracking Abdul Ezedi’s movements following the attack, in which a 31-year-old woman and her two children, aged three and eight, were doused with an alkaline substance last Wednesday.
