Poilievre slams Trudeau as a ‘big talker and little doer’ on Ukraine as Tories vote against trade deal

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau talks a big game on Ukraine but is not meeting the needs of a country at war, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says.

“Justin Trudeau is a big talker and a little doer when it comes to Ukraine,” Poilievre said during a press conference in Montreal, Que., on Tuesday. “He’s made all these announcements of hundreds of millions of dollars of different equipment that he’s never actually delivered.”

Race Grifting Pickering mayor slams Councillor Lisa Robinson’s common sense Black history month column as ‘racist’ and ‘unethical’

Open the pic in a new tab to expand it.

A controversial Pickering councillor’s column ranting about Black History Month is being slammed by the mayor as “racist, irresponsible and unethical,” and may bring further discipline for the councillor whose pay was suspended twice last year.

In the 1,000-word article published in The Oshawa/Durham Central Newspaper, Coun. Lisa Robinson denounced government programs for Black communities, said people are “hung up” on the transatlantic slave trade, called the idea of white privilege “racist,” and called herself a “modern-day slave.”

The column, which contained several spelling and grammatical errors, was titled “It is not black and white,” and suggested that Black History Month is divisive.

No doubt this caused the usual woke race grifters to salivate like Pavlov’s dog.

But the fact is their reaction proves that Ms. Robinson has struck a nerve.

She didn’t say anything racist, she merely expressed truths that exposed the race baiters con.

The United Nations’ Goebbels Maneuver

Joseph Goebbels, who from 1933 to 1945 served first as the chief propagandist for the Nazi Party, then as Reich Minister of Propaganda, was undeniably an evil man. Yet it’s equally undeniable that he was good at his job. Running the Nazi propaganda machine was a task that required a detailed understanding of the nuances of human behavior. Specifically, he knew, and put to deadly purposes the psychological power of blame shifting. He is quoted as summarizing his theory by saying that the goal was to “Accuse the other of that you are guilty.”

The electric vehicles farce has reached a shambolic new low

When the electric vans startup Arrival announced that it was seeking to focus its business on the US market, it seemed like a good move. Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act was offering massive subsidies for the green industries of tomorrow; the market would surely surge, and Arrival’s fortunes with it.

They did not. The “British Tesla” as it was once known, which was valued at over £10 billion on the Nasdaq at one point, has seen its UK arm enter administration. It follows that other darling of green industrial policy, Britishvolt, which collapsed last year (it was later bought by Recharge Industries).

A cryptocurrency mining company has lost a bid to force BC Hydro to provide the vast amounts of power needed for its operations, upholding the provincial government’s right to pause power connections for new crypto miners.

Conifex Timber Inc., a forestry company that branched out into cryptocurrency mining, had gone to the B.C. Supreme Court to have the policy declared invalid.

So this could apply to EV owners.

Biden Opened the Floodgates of Hell

President Joe Biden’s foreign policy has collapsed. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan effectively admitted that to CNN’s Dana Bash on February 4.

“You have said now a couple times on this show and you have said this many times before that the administration is trying to prevent this from spreading into a regional conflict,” Bash told Sullivan on “State of the Union,” referring to the war in Gaza.

CRESCIA: Canada is more broken than ever

The Trudeau Liberals recently gathered for a cabinet retreat to hit the reset button after a disastrous 2023 that saw the country become more broken than ever before. No big announcements emerged but the Liberals spent time ruminating about the consequences of a Trump presidency: “Mr. Trump represents a certain amount of unpredictability, but we will make sure we’re pulling together and preparing for whatever eventualities,” said Trudeau.
