Illegal tobacco growth costing three provinces $2.47 billion in taxes: Retail report

The governments of B.C., Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador lost up to $2.47 billion in tax revenues over four years due to the growth in illegal tobacco sales, says a convenience industry report.

The Convenience Industry Council of Canada report released Wednesday examined the downward trend in legal tobacco sales in the three provinces since 2019, compared with the rising growth in the underground contraband tobacco market.

Vancouver police boost security at Indian Consulate … Another Of Justin’s Foreign Allegiances Costing Tax Payers Money

VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Police Department says it’s beefing up security outside India’s Consulate after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said this week there was credible intelligence about a potential link between India’s government and the killing of a Sikh community leader in B.C.

Const. Tania Visintin, the department’s media relations officer, says police are “closely monitoring the situation” since Trudeau’s announcement about the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a vocal supporter of an independent Sikh homeland, who was shot dead in Surrey in June.

Conservative MPs told not to talk to media, post about ‘parental rights’ protests

OTTAWA – Conservative MPs were told not to post online or talk to media about competing protests on Parliament Hill that saw protesters clashing over how schools should handle LGBTQ+ issues.

The Canadian Press obtained a copy of the message sent to members of Pierre Poilievre’s caucus, which warned them not to speak publicly about the issue and provided talking points they could use to communicate with their constituents.

That was cowardly. Unlike Max.

Germany’s Ukraine tank blunder is embarrassing for Berlin

Ukraine is reported to have rejected a consignment of Germany’s Leopard 1 tanks – on the grounds that they are technically flawed, and that Ukrainian engineers lack the skills and training to fix them.

Embarrassingly for Germany, this is the second time that Ukraine has turned its collective nose up at a delivery of German armour. When the first ten tanks – the advance guard of a total of 110 Leopard 1s that Berlin has agreed to supply to Kyiv – arrived in Ukraine, they too were found to be unsuitable for deployment on the front line. This despite the desperate need for armour to break through Russia’s defence lines resisting Ukraine’s vaunted counter offensive striking south towards the Sea of Azov.

Was Ray Epps a Jan. 6 Fed Conspirator?

The delay in his charging, and the lone misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, fuels theories.

The headlines read: “Ray Epps Charged With Jan. 6 Crime—After Conspiracy Theory Claimed He Worked For FBI” (Forbes), “Ray Epps Charged Over Jan. 6 Riot, Dealing Major Blow to Tucker Carlson’s Conspiracy Theory” (Mediaite), “Feds charge Jan. 6 protester at center of unproven, hard-right conspiracy theories”.

Another Palestinian Reverie

Palestinians protest against Israel because Palestinians blew themselves up

On August 29, 2023, Sheikh Issam Amira, a prominent member of the Palestinian Hizb al-Tahrir party, argued that the “liberation” of Palestine is nothing compared to the potentially great conquests that Islam has in store for the rest of the non-Muslim world — including the United States:

“What is the Palestinian cause compared to the conquest of Rome, for example? Or the conquest of Latin America in its entirety? Or the conquest of North America?”

Amira went on to say that he personally knows that Australians are “dying of fear” from the nearby Muslim nations of Malaysia and Indonesia, “because they know that one of these days the Muslim armies will come from Indonesia and bring Islam to Australia, like it or not.”

Don Martin: Canada is back on the world stage. And mostly alone.

They made Justin cry.

On the bright side, Justin Trudeau got one promise right: Canada is back on the world stage.

Sadly, it’s for all the wrong reasons after the prime minister accused the government of the world’s fifth largest economy of dispatching assassins to kill a Sikh separatist leader in broad daylight outside a Surrey, B.C. temple.

The world took notice, but didn’t exactly rush to Canada’s side despite having advance warning the bombshell would soon be dropped into the public domain.

Police find female designer’s stolen clothes in ex-Biden official Sam Brinton’s home

Sam Brinton Sex Deviant Freak

Police returned articles of clothing to a Tanzanian fashion designer they obtained while executing a search warrant of disgraced ex-Department of Energy (DOE) official Sam Brinton’s home.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police Department confirmed the clothes were returned to Asya Khamsin, who has alleged Brinton publicly wore clothing she designed, but which was in her bag she reported missing at Ronald Reagan National Airport years ago. In May, MWAA police officers executed a search warrant in connection with the case at Brinton’s Maryland residence.

Canada’s Problem: Khalistan Today, Jihad Tomorrow?

By pandering to violent extremists, Canada is creating a grave future for itself where it becomes a safe haven for all kinds of extremists, including jihadis of ISIS.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has chosen to set a time bomb ticking in relation to India. By accusing Indian agents of assassinating Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a pro-Khalistan Canadian named as a terrorist by India, Trudeau has picked appeasement politics over pragmatic foreign policy. The Canadian government has not submitted any clinching evidence to the Indian government, except to state that there were “credible allegations” (try beating this as an oxymoron!). India has described the allegations as “absurd”.
