Forget Pandemics! Forget Economic Collapse! Forget Nuclear Holocaust! CBC Warns Of Killer Fungus Linked To Climate Change!

Jesse Abair wasn’t all that alarmed when he started to feel oddly tired in the summer of 2019.

He had moved to Arizona the year before, and was still adjusting to the desert heat, which regularly hits 40 C. After playing competitive soccer for more than a decade, Abair considered himself a healthy 27-year-old. Yet his extreme fatigue kept getting worse.

“It was almost like what you imagine feeling like if you hadn’t eaten in several days,” he said.

BBC admits wrongly claiming far-Right groups attended anti-Ulez protest

The BBC has admitted it wrongly claimed far-Right Groups had attended an anti-Ulez protest.

The broadcaster judged the report by BBC London was wrong to suggest that far-Right Groups had been present at the event in Trafalgar Square in April, and admitted it had fallen short of establishing evidence to back up the claim.

Those who have complaints against the BBC’s coverage can escalate these to the Executive Complaint Unit (ECU), which works independently of content makers, when they are unsatisfied with a BBC decision.

As bad as the CBC.

Green Electricity Means Rising Costs for Consumers: Federal Memo

Moving to green electricity will mean higher costs for consumers. That’s from a staff memo sent to federal Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

“As the economy transitions to net zero by 2050 there will be increased demand for clean electricity to decarbonize other sectors such as transportation or buildings,” said the March 27 memo. “Some experts are predicting that demand could double by 2050.”

What in the world is going on with UFOs?

While a small community of enthusiasts has been investigating unidentified flying objects for decades, in recent years, they largely flew under the radar.

Until a compelling 2017 report by the New York Times that paired cockpit videos of what looked like a darting Tic Tac mint with the firsthand account of the Navy pilots who saw them.

“Those articles opened the door for the government and public that cannot be closed,” retired Cmdr. David Fravor, a former F-18 pilot, testified before a congressional committee on July 26. “It removed the stigma on the topic of UFOs, which is why we’re here today.”

Anthony Furey: Justin and Sophie’s Very Public Separation

There was a time early in the political ascendancy of Justin Trudeau that his wife, Sophie Grégoire, was much more visible than she became in later years.

She appeared on the campaign trail, did her own events, and made media appearances in support of her husband as well as her own causes. It was a natural fit, since she had been a media personality in her own right doing showbiz segments for Quebec Francophone television and radio.

Putin might be on track to achieve his goal of freezing the front line

To say Ukraine’s counter-offensive has not progressed as quickly as it had hoped is to state an objective fact.

To say, however, that it has not progressed as quickly as it should have, or that it would have been more successful if only Ukraine had employed “proper” Western tactics, is to reveal to the world one’s utter ignorance of military matters.

That view was one taken by the German military who in a leaked assessment of the counter-offensive earlier this month, lashed out at Kyiv’s alleged failure to adopt the lessons its troops have been learning in Western boot camps.

Battery plants or bust: Why some think Ottawa’s $30-billion EV bet puts Canada on the wrong track

Canada is pouring billions of taxpayer dollars into electric vehicle battery plants, but is this the best way for policymakers to grab a piece of the EV supply chain?

It’s a question some industry watchers are asking now that the federal government has committed $13 billion toward a Volkswagen AG battery plant in St. Thomas, Ont., as well as $15 billion in funding for the construction of a Stellantis NV-LG Energy Solution battery plant in Windsor, Ont.

While batteries are a key component of the EV market, Greig Mordue, a professor of engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont., and former general manager of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, thinks the incentives were “over-the-top,” and ultimately won’t give Canada the edge over the United States it is looking for.

Devon Archer Says Biden’s Claims That He ‘Knew Nothing’ About Son Hunter’s Business Dealings Are ‘Categorically False’

In a new interview, Devon Archer is saying that President Biden denying knowing anything about his son Hunter’s business dealings is “categorically false.” In detailing the value of the “Biden brand,” Archer is likely to be a key witness should the House begin an impeachment inquiry into the president.

Archer sat with a newly independent journalist, Tucker Carlson, to detail his personal history and how that led to his partnership with the younger Mr. Biden. After years of working in finance in Vietnam and producing an Emmy Award-winning documentary, Archer opened a private equity firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, which Mr. Biden joined in either 2008 or 2009.

David Krayden: The Million-Person March Against Gender Ideology Is a Force for Uniting People of Faith

Can an Ottawa businessman and Muslim activist successfully organize a million-person march to protest gender ideology in Canadian schools?

Yes, because Kamel El-Cheikh has a Canada-wide network stretching from Vancouver to Halifax and he’s asking not just his fellow Muslims to march in protest but people of all faiths. In doing so, he is shaping a juggernaut of political opposition to the radical LGBTQ policies of federal and provincial governments across Canada that are insisting children be allowed to change their gender without parental consent and be exposed to a perverse cornucopia of sexual fetishism and pornography.

I would love to see this work out for the good of all however I suspect that the schoolboards and politicians will play their usual game of divide and conquer.

Muslims will be granted concessions for their children, Christians will not.

Justin Trudeau needs to make housing a primary federal responsibility

For two decades, from the mid-1990s to the mid-2010s, through Liberal and Conservative governments, Ottawa was largely absent from housing.

Justin Trudeau’s Liberals in 2015 promised to change that, with major federal investments in affordable rental housing. As of March, Ottawa had committed more than $30-billion (much of it low-cost loans for rental housing), and the result is 107,519 new homes.

It is at once a success and failure. It’s more than Ottawa has done in a long time – and it’s far, far too little. The Trudeau government has been overtaken by events: an out-of-control housing market where the cost to buy or rent is extreme.
