How Sweden Became a Gangster’s Paradise

After the Russian invasion of the Ukraine in February 2022, Sweden and Finland abandoned generations of neutrality to apply for membership in the NATO military alliance. However, there is already a gang war going on in Swedish streets, and it has nothing to do with Russia.

Between January and May 2023, Swedish police recorded on average one completed bomb detonation every two days. If you add the bombs that were in preparation, but not yet detonated, Sweden experienced one explosives-related crime per day. Rival gangs increasingly continue to target each other’s relatives with revenge attacks.

Federal U.S .Court Case Questioning Prince Harry’s Immigration Status Starts Next Week

It’s official that the duke and duchess of Sussex have exhausted the American public. They are now finding themselves embroiled in federal court here after the Heritage Foundation sued the U.S. government for access to the duke’s visa application, which they suspect was given preferential treatment despite Harry’s admission to breaking U.S. drug laws.

If Harry was smart he’d ditch Meggie & use this as an excuse to head back to England.

Kelowna encampment residents speak out after Poilievre compares designated sleeping area to 3rd world country

Garth Gorrel and his wife, Debbie Houghtaling, have been camping along the Okanagan Rail Trail at the north end of downtown Kelowna, B.C., for two years.

Gorrel, a former steelworker in Kamloops, and Houghtaling, who used to do online clerical work for an Alberta-based janitorial service, both lost their jobs due to layoffs at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hoping to find employment, the couple relocated to Kelowna but had no luck. Unable to afford a rental apartment, they made the decision to shelter outdoors.

The “Official argument” seems to be “We put our homeless in a designated outdoor homeless zone.”

Another Confederate monument bites the dust

Reconciliation statue at Arlington National Cemetery set to be destroyed

In the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement sparked in 2020 by the murder of George Floyd, Congress required the Department of Defense to create a commission to evaluate the ways the military continued to honor the Confederacy.

The duties of the “naming commission” were to assess the “cost of renaming or removing names, symbols, displays, monuments or paraphernalia that commemorate the Confederate States of America or any person who served voluntarily with the Confederate States of America.”

How George Soros is spreading addiction, death, and chaos across the US

The Drug Policy Alliance, a group that has received millions of dollars from international banker George Soros, takes credit for “creating cutting-edge policies that have fundamentally transformed the direction of drug policy in the U.S.”

This claim is true. The alliance has been instrumental in legalizing marijuana in 11 states and Washington, D.C. The promised benefits of marijuana legalization, however, have failed to materialize, leaving hundreds of communities with more addiction, death, and chaos.

Good old George, picking up where the Sackler’s left off.

David Johnston’s Special Crony position is barely tenable. Can his investigation be salvaged?

David Johnston’s position is barely tenable. Can his investigation be salvaged?

As always, multiple things can be true at the same time.

David Johnston can be both a flawed choice to investigate the government’s response to intelligence on foreign interference — and the target of unfair treatment since taking on that task. The prime minister could have been better off asking someone else to be special rapporteur — and Johnston’s reception from his critics may have diminished the number of people willing and able to do the job.

Multiple things can be true simultaneously but this isn’t one of them.

Junior and Special Crony are closer than they are pretending to be, proven by their own statements.

Johnson is a sinophile of the first order with a vested interest in minimizing his own activity as a member of the China Class.

Nothing else explains his report’s exclusion of O’Toole’s evidence.

US military has been observing ‘metallic orbs’ making extraordinary ‘maneuvers’

At a historic NASA briefing on UFOs — “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP) in government parlance — a key Defense Department official made a striking disclosure. Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, director of a new UAP analysis office, stated that U.S. military personnel are observing “metallic orbs” “all over the world.”

An image, along with two brief videos of such objects are now publicly available.

Aaron Wudrick: Trudeau, Ford to blame for Stellantis shakedown

Canada’s long, sordid history of corporate welfare debacles should have been warning enough.

In this country, “paying to play” in a given industry — the polite euphemism preferred by its advocates — has never been a matter of buying a one-off admission ticket to Aerospaceworld or Automotiveland, freeing our economy to run about and hop on unlimited rides with exciting names like The Great Canadian Spinoff Effect.

Europe: demography makes history and numbers make culture

Gibbon in The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire wrote what would have been had al-Rahman won at Poitiers:It is happening now.

The name Bordeaux – the sixth metropolitan area of France (1,200,000 inhabitants) – evokes a legendary wine, the cathedral, Montaigne, Montesquieu and the Bourbons.

But demography makes history and numbers make culture.

So a few days ago some parents of students from the Emile Combes college in Bordeaux discovered that the meal offered was halal. An exclusively halal menu, says Bfmtv. Parents are “restless”. And they are right to be. Maybe they remember when, ten years ago, Le Monde branded the fear of halal in schools as a “right-wing conspiracy”. The left lügenpresse.

‘No one person’ responsible for Ottawa failing to warn Michael Chong he was being targeted, national-security adviser says

A July 2021 CSIS assessment warning Beijing was targeting a Conservative MP and his relatives in China was sent to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s national-security adviser at the time, as well as three deputy ministers, but it’s unclear if anyone read the top-secret document, MPs heard Thursday.

National security adviser Jody Thomas, who was deputy minister of National Defence in 2021, was adamant that Mr. Trudeau was unaware of the threat to the MP, who turned out to be Conservative foreign affairs critic Michael Chong, until The Globe and Mail revealed he was a target on May 1. The Globe report cited the Canadian Security Intelligence Service assessment and a national-security source.

“On vacation” is maybe one step above “the dog ate my homework.”

RCMP says it has shut down ‘illegal police activity’ connected to alleged Chinese ‘police stations’

The RCMP says it has “shut down illegal police activity in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia” connected to so-called Chinese “police stations” — but it hasn’t said whether it has made any arrests.

In April, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino told a parliamentary committee the federal police service had taken decisive action to close down the alleged stations.

Why the hell are they so secret?

Who are they sucking up to?

Apple denies hacking thousands of iPhones in Russian spy plot

US authorities accused of using iPhones to secretly collect data

Apple has denied allegations that it helped US authorities spy on Russian iPhone users.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) on Thursday claimed it uncovered a US National Security Agency (NSA) operation which hacked several thousand iPhones using sophisticated surveillance software.

The US intelligence agency was allegedly able to use specifically-designed “software vulnerabilities” to infect Apple’s phones with previously unknown malware, according to Russia’s foreign ministry.
