Black Lives Matter is headed for INSOLVENCY after plunging $8.5M into the red – but founder Patrisse Cullors’ brother was still paid $1.6M for ‘security services’ in 2022, while sister of board member earned $1.1M for ‘consulting’

Black Lives Matter’s national organization is at risk of going bankrupt after its finances plunged $8.5 million into the red last year – while simultaneously handing multiple staff seven-figure salaries.

Financial disclosures obtained by The Washington Free Beacon show the perilous state of BLM’s Global Network Foundation, which officially emerged in November 2020, as a more formal way of structuring the civil rights movement.

Yet despite the financial controversy and scrutiny, BLM GNF continued to hire relatives of the founder, Patrisse Cullors, and several board members.

GUNTER: Johnston sings ‘Sound of Silence’ on China

I don’t trust former governor general David Johnston to conduct a proper inquiry into allegations that China’s Communist government has meddled in Canadian democratic affairs.

Johnston should never have been brought in to investigate claims by intelligence agencies that Canada’s democratic institutions – particularly the Liberal party of Canada – have been infiltrated by agents and surrogates of the Chinese Communist Party.

What a deceitful hack.

Johnston is a paid up member of the China Class and should never have been involved in this matter.

Dodgers re-invite drag nuns to Pride Night after cutting them

Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence – Anti-Christian Hate Group

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a well-known San Francisco order of queer and trans “nuns” that has existed since the 1970s, are once again welcome at the team’s annual Pride Night.

Last week, the baseball team rescinded the group’s invitation after a Republican senator from Florida wrote a letter accusing the sisters, a group which came to prominence during the Aids crisis, of being anti-Christian activists. The group, which does charitable and protest work in addition to its street drag show performances, was set to receive an award during a ceremony before a 16 June game against the San Francisco Giants.

Households now owe more than Canada’s entire GDP, housing agency warns

Canadian households are more in debt than those in any other G7 country, and the amount they owe is now more than the value of the country’s entire economy.

That was one of the main takeaways of a new report from Canada’s housing agency, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, which backstops much of the country’s housing market via mortgage insurance.

In a report published Tuesday, the CMHC’s deputy chief economist Aled ab Iorwerth said Canada’s economy is more at risk to whatever crises may arise because of how much debt Canadian households have racked up.

Target takes ’emergency’ action to ‘avoid a Bud Light situation’ and removes ‘tuck-friendly’ women’s swimwear and LGBTQ products from display in Southern stores – as CEO DEFENDS the line

Target’s CEO has defended the company’s controversial ‘tuck friendly’ female swimwear line, insisting the woke product rollout will be a success.

The retail giant sparked backlash after releasing a new line of clothing to celebrate Pride month in June, which includes a label advertising ‘tuck-friendly construction’ and ‘extra crotch’ coverage. The design is made to help conceal a person’s private parts.

AI scanner used in hundreds of US schools misses knives

A security firm that sells AI weapons scanners to schools is facing fresh questions about its technology after a student was attacked with a knife that the $3.7m system failed to detect.

On Halloween last year, student Ehni Ler Htoo was walking in the corridor of his school in Utica, New York, when another student walked up behind him and stabbed him with a knife.

You’re paying for Ottawa’s addiction to EV gambling

In my high school yearbook, my mother inscribed: “Good, Better, Best! Never let it rest ‘til you make your good better and your better best!” The Trudeau government seems determined to stand this idea on its head — Bad, Badder, Worst! Never stop at first! Make your bad ideas badder, and your badder worst!

NYC college professor who threatened Post reporter with machete is fired as her lawsuit against NYPD emerges

The manic Manhattan college professor who threatened a Post reporter with a machete has been fired, the school said Tuesday — as it emerged she is suing the NYPD for allegedly abusing her during the 2020 George Floyd protests.

Shellyne Rodriguez was sacked by Hunter College just hours after the adjunct professor was caught on camera holding the blade to the veteran reporter’s neck while threatening to “chop” him up outside her Bronx apartment.

‘I will not be silenced’: Pierre Poilievre calls on David Johnston to resign, refuses request to review foreign interference intelligence

OTTAWA — Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is refusing to review classified information on foreign state interference, stating he won’t be “silenced” as he continues to claim — contrary to the conclusion of a new report he dismissed as untrustworthy — that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau might be “complicit” in Chinese efforts to meddle in Canadian democracy.

Speaking in Quebec City on Tuesday, Poilievre did not waver from his party’s criticism of former governor general David Johnston, who published an interim report earlier in the day as the government’s “special rapporteur” on foreign political interference.

An advocacy group that says it represents “common sense Calgarians” has launched a petition calling for a reinstatement of the fireworks display in Calgary on Canada Day.

Trudeau Says He Has ‘Total Confidence’ in Johnston After Decision on Public Inquiry

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday he has “total confidence” in the work being done by special rapporteur David Johnston, who earlier in the day recommended against holding a public inquiry into allegations of foreign interference in Canada’s elections.

“I committed to listening very carefully and abiding by the recommendations that the former governor general made, and he explained and justified his thought processes by it and we will be following his recommendations,” Trudeau told reporters.

Bombing a Jewish kindergarten isn’t ‘retaliatory’

“Only 620 of the rockets launched [by Palestinian Islamic Jihad] made it into Israeli territory” (emphasis added) is the strange way The Washington Post depicted the hailstorm of rockets on Israel from Gaza.  Would The Washington Post portray the bombardment of America by 620 rockets from a genocidal enemy as “only 620 rockets”?  In “Israel kills 2 more militant leaders as Gaza fight rages on” (printed version title May 12, 2023), The Washington Post invents a title that portrays Israel as the aggressor, missing the cause of the fighting, which was the rocket fire from Gaza against Israeli civilians.  The article even admits that “one rocket fell on the roof of a kindergarten in the Eshkol region; another hit an empty playground.”  The Palestinians are wantonly attacking children, yet the Post downplays the rocket attack to incriminate Israel’s response.
