Carnage in France: Battles on the streets of Paris as riot police fire tear gas and charge at pension protesters

Carnage is erupting on the streets of France tonight after French President Emmanuel Macron’s flagship pension reform passed a vital constitutional milestone despite months of disruptive strikes and protests.

The legislation, which pushes the age at one can draw a full pension to 64 from 62, is deeply unpopular in France and has triggered huge disruption.

After the decision was announced by the Constitutional Council on Friday, largescale protests began around the country and quickly turned violent.

The World Cup swindle was always plain to see

Toronto City Council has voted twice on whether to host up to five preliminary-round games of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, for the low, low price of $300 million. The first vote, in April last year, passed 21-1 with four absentees — the lone opponent being veteran left-wing councillor Gord Perks. The second vote, in July, passed 21-2 with two absentees — right-wing councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong joined Perks in the lonely ranks of the opponents.

“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Anheuser-Busch InBev CEO Brendan Whitworth said.

BELL: Poilievre slams ‘woke anti-police agenda’ as ‘ugly extremism’

Buy the ticket, take the ride.

When the guy who wants to be Canada’s next prime minister takes no time at all to go after what he calls “pointy-headed professors,” the elitists and know-nothing experts who have been proven wrong about crime and social disorder, you know this one-on-one encounter will not be a waste of time.

‘Another convenient non-answer’: Katie Telford stonewalls on foreign interference

Full of shit.

OTTAWA – The Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Katie Telford finally appeared before a parliamentary committee examining foreign interference in Canada’s electoral system on Tuesday, but despite testifying for over two-and-half hours, ultimately said very little that shed any light on the matter.

What Happens When the Darien Gap Is Overrun?

A wave of humanity is starting to tame the jungle by trampling it, and the Biden administration is not prepared.

The most important barrier to illegal entry to the United States is so impassable that only one normal car has ever crossed it. Sixty-two years ago, a Land Rover made the journey. And it took five months to do so, crawling along at just over a tenth of a mile per hour. This barrier is guarded ferociously day and night, with truly deadly sentries who are indifferent to human life. And it’s not even on the American border — it is the no-man’s land that exists between Central and South America, the Darien Gap between Panama and Colombia. It is the only place between Prudhoe Bay in Alaska and Ushuaia, Argentina, the world’s southernmost city on planet Earth, that cannot be driven over.

The US intelligence leak and the hypocrisy of the spy world

So what did everyone learn from the massive trove of more than a hundred top secret US documents a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman apparently put on a gaming server to wow some fellow God-fearing gun enthusiasts? Both little and a lot.

Despite some clumsy cut-and-paste editing of casualty figures, as well as some carefully-worded claims that, as a British defence official put it, ‘a significant proportion of the content of these reports is untrue, manipulated, or both,’ the Americans are shamefacedly admitting that these are genuine documents. There will no doubt continue to be suspicions in some quarters that there is some baroque plot at work, whether a Russian long con or a US attempt to spread disinformation. But nevertheless this is one of those cases where the simplest explanation is the most likely.

A shocking video of a baby born on a San Francisco street highlights the city’s collapse.

Apparently, San Francisco mayor London Breed has been feeling downright smug about the fact that Cash App founder Bob Lee did not die at the hands of a random homeless person but, instead, was allegedly murdered by someone he knew. That would be a decent boast if San Francisco were an otherwise clean and well-run city…but it’s not. It’s still a decayed basket case, as is vividly illustrated by a widely circulated video showing a homeless woman and her baby moments after she gave birth on the street.

The Biden 10-Step Plan for Global Chaos

Why is French President Emmanuel Macron cozying up to China while trashing his oldest ally, the United States?

Why is there suddenly talk of discarding the dollar as the global currency?

Why are Japan and India shrugging that they cannot follow the United States’ lead in boycotting Russian oil?

Why is the president of Brazil traveling to China to pursue what he calls a “beautiful relationship”?

Degenerate Sam Brinton accepts plea deal in Vegas luggage theft case

The former Biden administration official accused in two separate stolen-luggage cases in different states was ordered to pay one of their victims back — but given no jail time — Tuesday after they pleaded no contest to the bizarre theft.

Samuel Brinton, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, was given a 180-day suspended jail sentence for lifting a woman’s suitcase from Las Vegas‘ Harry Reid International Airport in July 2022, according to court records obtained by Fox 5.

As part of the plea deal, Brinton was charged with a misdemeanor instead of a felony.

The Military Recruitment Crisis Is a Symptom of Cultural Rot

America’s cultural cancer manifests itself in many ways, but no symptom is more telling than our low military recruitment. Last year the Army hit only 75% of its recruiting target, while other services had to scramble to meet theirs. This year looks to be worse. The all-volunteer force, formed 50 years ago, is in peril and threatens our ability to defend ourselves in a dangerous world. What does this say about America?

Crime Killed a Quarter of a Million Black People.

And the racist pro-crime Left wants more.

Over the last decade, BLM, and assorted leftist and libertarian groups dismantled our criminal justice system. Police forces were defunded, pro-crime prosecutors refused to lock up criminals, federal and state prison systems released tens of thousands of them, and a wave of legislative decriminalization legalized everything from shoplifting, to drug dealing and mugging.

Trudeau Foundation asks Auditor-General to investigate donation

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation has asked the Auditor-General to investigate a controversial donation from two wealthy Chinese businessmen, who were acting at the behest of the government of China.

A foundation official said the chair of the foundation, Ted Johnson, wrote to Auditor-General Karen Hogan on Friday to request a formal audit of the non-profit organization, which was set up with a $125-million endowment from the Liberal government of Jean Chrétien in 2002. The Globe and Mail is not naming the official, because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
