Dutch Court Prosecuting Mohammedan In First-Ever Case For Enslaving Yazidis In Syria

On February 14 and 15, 2023, a Rotterdam court, the District Court of The Hague, held the first pro forma hearings against twelve women that the Dutch government brought back from a prison camp in Syria in November 2022. The women were arrested after arrival on suspicion of terrorist crimes, as suspected members of Daesh, a terrorist organization that is accused of committing genocide and crimes against humanity in Iraq and Syria. As announced by the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, one of the women is also suspected of slavery as a crime against humanity. The woman is said to have used a Yazidi woman as a slave in Syria in 2015. It is the first time that someone in the Netherlands has been charged with a crime against the Yazidis and for crimes against humanity.

Every country seems willing and able to prosecute their ISIS sluts. Except Canada. Justin wants that Muslim vote.

Nearly three quarters of Canadians would like to see Ukraine win the war but only about a third think Canada should provide more military equipment

An overwhelming majority of Canadians support Ukraine in its war against Russia, but there’s some skepticism about what — if anything — Canada should do more of in order to support its ally, according to a new poll.

Trudeau can’t be bothered to maintain Canada’s army so the US is dreaming we’ll meet treaty obligations – U.S. ‘remains hopeful’ Canada will hit NATO defence spending target: ambassador

Trudeau used tax payer money to burnish his image when he bought Ukraine an air-defense system, one that our own troops have been denied for years. How soon before the cupboard is bare for everyone?

After years of cozying up to China, Trudeau impotent in face of election interference

Any strong words Trudeau may mouth about China are to be taken with a very large grain of salt.

The most recent reports have revealed just how extensive China’s activities have become, and exposed the Trudeau government’s astonishing reluctance to treat them with the seriousness they deserve

Once established, it can take a long time to escape a bad reputation, as Canada has when it comes to China.

It’s been decades in the making, with successive prime ministers seized by the perceived gains to be had from the world’s most populous market. The current prime minister famously expressed his enthusiasm for the one-party state’s “basic dictatorship.”

The End of Germany’s Electric Dreams?

New electric car sales dropped 83% in the first month of 2023, according to figures from the German Motor Transport Authority. German authorities slashed subsidies in January, ostensibly to clamp down on resale fraud. However, new lows in the market may also be due to the viability of electric vehicles with current energy price hikes.

The number of electric cars purchased fell from 104,300 in December 2022 to 18,100 in January 2023, with a December surge caused by the end of the subsidy program. Electric car sales made up just 15% of all purchases in January compared to 55% the month before.

Pierre Poilievre’s media-bashing foreshadows his approach to governing

This is a dark hole that the Conservative leader is taking his party down. Threats and even attacks on journalists are on the rise in many countries.

A universal tool of demagogues is to demonize and threaten journalists. It’s an effective tactic, especially when aligned with a parallel campaign to create their own controlled media.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has been revealed by Florida media and Harvard’s Neiman School as the latest threat to an independent media, seeking legislation to intimidate independent journalists by setting minimal requirements to suing them for libel.

Ottawa’s ‘Sustainable Jobs’ Plan Pilloried as Imposing Top-Down Planning, Stifling Free Market

In efforts to reach net zero by 2050, Ottawa’s strategy to transform the workforce toward “sustainable jobs”—”green” jobs in a low-carbon economy—sparked extensive criticism from analysts due to its top-down approach and departure from traditional market-based economics.

On Feb. 17—the Friday before a long weekend and overshadowed by the verdict on the government’s use of the Emergencies Act—the feds released its interim Sustainable Jobs Plan for 2023 to 2025.

The government deems a job to be sustainable, if it is “compatible with Canada’s path to a net-zero emissions and climate resilient future.”

NYC Names Street After “Adolf Hitler of the Black Man”

There’s no room in NYC for Teddy Roosevelt, for plenty for the racist leader of the Nation of Islam.

Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad headed a racist movement that believed white people were subhuman and doomed to be exterminated. His successor as leader of the original theological movement, Louis Farrakhan, is one of the country’s most notorious bigots.
