The lawyer for six Canadian women and 13 children being held in Syrian camps says the federal government has agreed to help bring them home.

Lawyer Lawrence Greenspon says a “mutually acceptable” agreement was reached today with Ottawa to repatriate the 19 Canadians.

… Greenspon says that as a result of the agreement, the application from the six women and 13 children is being discontinued, but the case of the four men remains before the court.

If I’m not mistaken one of the “men” is Jack Letts, whose parents were convicted in the UK of aiding a terrorist when they sent him funds. The twit has no real connection to Canada beyond one parent being Canadian, he was raised in the UK and they don’t want him.

We should not be bringing such filth into our country. They are monsters who willingly joined a murder cult.

Doctor slams innocent-looking ABC crossword puzzle clue ‘adult human female’ for spreading ‘trans hate’

A seemingly innocuous crossword clue in an ABC magazine has been blasted as ‘hate speech’ by a breast surgeon, sparking a furious backlash.

Dr Rhea Liang, who is a clinical associate professor at Queensland’s Bond University, tweeted her dismay at finding the crossword in a February edition of Gardening Australia asking for a five-letter word that meant ‘adult human female’.

She argues the obvious answer ‘woman’ discriminates against those born with male sex organs who identify as female.

Gallery owner who hosed homeless woman in San Francisco arrested

A San Francisco art gallery owner who sprayed a homeless woman with a hose has been arrested, police have said.

Collier Gwin, 71, has been charged with misdemeanour battery, after a video of him spraying the woman outside his gallery on 9 January caused outrage.

He faces up to six months in prison and a $2,000 (£1,600) fine, the city’s district attorney said.

Mr Gwin has since apologised for his actions, describing them as indefensible.

Canadian military finances technology to collect social media data despite claims it was shutting down such efforts

Six months after National Defence claimed it was shutting down efforts to collect social media data of Canadians, the military was back again developing new technology to accomplish such tasks.

Defence firms and other companies were given almost $10 million to develop new ways to analyze social media and sift through accounts.

Is it me or is there just a lot more crap than ususal going on in Canada this week?

Alec Baldwin & ‘Rust’ Armorer To Face Criminal Charges Over 2021 Fatal Movie Shooting, Santa Fe D.A. Says

Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed will both be charged “in the alternative,” meaning the jury will decide which of the two charges — involuntary manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter in the commission of a lawful act — they are or are not guilty of. Both felony charges hold a maximum prison sentence of 18 months and a fine of up to $5,000.

Two drinks a week is enough, Canadians told just weeks before heroin is legalised

Justin Trudeau’s government has introduced some of the strictest guidelines on alcohol consumption in the West, just weeks before Canada will legalise heroin and crack cocaine in parts of the country.

The government is recommending Canadians have no more than two drinks per week. The new advice is a steep drop from the previous recommendation of a maximum of 10 drinks a week for women and 15 drinks for men.

Mind you in the UK this nutter says bringing a cake to the office is like smoking.
