But given that in recent conversations with President Macron, Vladimir Putin has referenced Hiroshima as a precedent that he could use to justify the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it seems a timely moment to evaluate the subject. And this is especially the case when the case for America using the bomb against Japan has more and more come under attack.

Nuclear Fusion Incinerates Climate Crazies

On Dec. 5, 2022, scientists at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory’s National Ignition Facility in California aimed 192 laser beams at a pinhead-sized target containing deuterium and tritium and a fusion reaction succeeded in releasing more energy than the amount delivered by the lasers. But this achievement of inertial confinement fusion is not only the first time in history that nuclear fusion has worked under controlled conditions (in contrast to a thermonuclear bomb); those lasers also disintegrated the green energy fanatics’ arguments in favor of dismantling the world’s 90 percent-plus fossil fuel-based $85 trillion economy. They have now been discredited as much as Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons’s sloppy claims of having conducted fusion at room temperature in 1989, despite the two’s up-until-then impressive scientific credentials.

Good article and I hope his optimism is justified however I remain skeptical that near term life changing practical application is only a decade or two away. He’s Bang-On about the plans the Climate Nazis have in store for us however.

Jews in Belgium, Jews in America – things have changed

I Recently came across a fascinating book, “Before It’s Too Late – A Love Letter to my daughters and America” by Eric Rozenberg, a Belgian Jew who moved to the United States with his wife and children largely due to increased antisemitism.

His heartfelt, deeply personal book tells the history – in very personal terms – of antisemitism in Europe, and events his family felt and witnessed in Belgium. He then describes his current day fears in the United States – from BDS and college campuses to antisemitism from all sides of the political spectrum.

This book seems ominious in its release date given the rise in antisemitism in the US of late.

Woke Indoctrination Is Destroying the Military

It’s not a surprise that recruitment is down. But it is a massive problem.

Asoon-to-be-Republican-led Congress has promised to investigate the calamitous departure from Afghanistan. This is how it should be and is consistent with our country’s tradition of oversight and investigation.

But an even more important priority is investigating the armed forces’ unprecedented recruitment crisis. The falloff is a result of an ideologically driven agenda whose goal it is to transform our military into a woke institution that resembles our failed college campuses instead of into military bases that train men and women to fight and win wars.

Homeless encampments in Canada are on the rise.

Homeless encampments are “visibly rising” in Canada, according to the Canadian Human Rights Commission — and to address this, a “Housing First” approach is needed from all levels of government, be it federal, provincial or municipal, experts say.

The “Housing First” approach identifies the right to housing as the first and foremost need of people experiencing homelessness. Needs such as childcare, drug addiction or medical requirements come after an individual has been housed, Leilani Farha, the global director of The Shift, an international initiative that advocates for the right to housing, told Global News.

The trans Canadian high school teacher who made headline news worldwide after photos of her with prosthetic Z-cup breasts and blond wig went viral was once asked to leave a children’s concert.

A source told DailyMail.com that in 2021, Kayla Lemieux, attended a children’s dance recital in Burlington, Ontario. The source said that Lemieux apparently snuck into the theater during intermission.

Lemieux sat in the front row watching the children dancing on stage. Eventually, she was confronted by concerned parents and asked to leave as she did not have a child involved in the show.

Fraud, cons and Ponzi schemes: did Sam Bankman-Fried use Madoff tactics?

At first glance, Sam Bankman-Fried bears little resemblance to Bernie Madoff. One is a smartly-suited, grey-haired financial titan with a 40-year career on Wall Street, and the other a 30-year-old millennial king of crypto in shorts and T-shirt.

But almost 14 years to the day since Madoff was arrested and charged with fraud in New York for orchestrating a long-running pyramid scheme, the FTX crypto scandal is being compared to Madoff’s criminal enterprise.

Diana Henriques, a financial historian and the author of The Wizard of Lies, a book delving into Madoff’s $64bn (£53bn) scheme, says the similarities between Bankman-Fried – or SBF as he is known – and the Wall Street investment manager are “striking”.

Why Russia couldn’t give up on empire

One hundred years ago this December, delegations from the core nations of the East Slavs, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus signed the ‘Declaration and Treaty on the Formation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics’. They had with them representatives of the ‘Transcaucasian Soviet Socialist Republic’ artificially constructed by the Communists who had just won a horrifically bloody civil war. In theory it was a free association of states. In practice Stalin quickly imposed even more ruthless centralisation than before. By the end of the second world war he had recovered all the territories of Imperial Russia, and achieved domination of almost the whole of Eastern Europe.

Public drag queen shows should be sued for child endangerment

This past week, I challenged a group of local Christians not to back down from the fight against “family-friendly” drag queen performances sweeping our nation. My argument was simple. This war is real, and it has reached America’s heartland. At its most basic level, this is a battle for our children’s hearts, minds and souls. Men who get their kicks out of dressing up like women and mimicking a cabaret striptease in front of children are, by definition, “groomers.” And any business, church, chamber of commerce or government agency supporting this nonsense is guilty of child endangerment and should be sued accordingly. It is time to take the gloves off. It’s time to go on the offensive. It is time for litigation.
