The New York Times seems to have fallen into that hole Sunday, in an article that largely whitewashed antisemitic activist Linda Sarsour. She is identified as a victim of a Russian troll farm’s 2017 campaign to smear her due to her faith. Sarsour had just helped lead the original Women’s March, which drew hundreds of thousands of people to protests throughout the country.

The EU’s demonisation of Hungary has reached a new low. Last week, the European Parliament agreed on a resolution, stating that Hungary is an ‘electoral autocracy’ and not a ‘full democracy’, and that it is undermining European values. A few days later, the European Commission recommended suspending €7.5 billion in funding to Hungary, citing concerns over democratic backsliding.

Azhar Subedar is an Islamist with a busy schedule. One August day he is at a terror-related mosque in Boca Raton, Florida. The next, he is wakeboarding with someone whom the FBI alleged was a fundraiser for the Taliban. Two days later, he was at a global youth event, in Dallas, Texas, hosted by the US State Department. This past May, Subedar attended a Ramadan celebration at the White House, the invitation of which was from President Joe Biden, himself. Why would a radical Muslim be invited to an official gathering by the State Department or be allowed to step foot into the White House? This is no doubt a threat to national security.
The concerns of a politicized FBI have only been growing as partisan and targeted application of the law has moved from subtly suspicious to blatant. Now a whistleblower has come forward asserting that the agency has violated procedures to “create a false and misleading narrative” about rising “domestic violent extremism.”
As ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has been at the forefront of investigating suspected miscarriages of justice stemming from the FBI and, Monday, he issued a letter demanding answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray after a whistleblower made the case of “false and misleading crime statistics” being used to push a narrative of widespread extremism.

The burden, after the hoax of Russiagate, is on The New York Times to prove that its reporting on Russia is not fraudulent, is not a forgery, is not an anti-Russian variation on the anti-Semitic theme of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Accordingly, today’s story about Russian trolling of the Women’s March (against Trump) and the pushback against Linda Sarsour for her anti-Semitism for purpose of causing chaos (NYT forgot the sowing discord part) is facially not believable. (Since when have Russians made anti-Semites uncomfortable?)

As an actual woman, I can generally be found in a state of constant rage and offense at the countless emotionally incontinent men who choose to LARP as women. Nearly a quarter of Canadians cutting back on food purchases amid high inflation: survey
Amid soaring prices at grocery stores, a new survey has found that 23.6 per cent of Canadians have had to cut back on the amount of food they were buying.
The survey, conducted by Dalhousie University’s Agri-Food Analytics Lab in partnership with Caddle, was conducted between Sept. 8 and 10 and involved 5,000 Canadians from coast to coast. Over the last year, 8.2 per cent said they’ve had to change their diet to save money on food and 7.1 per cent said they’ve skipped meals because of the cost of groceries.

How identity politics is whipping up hatred and violence in our communities.
There are two disturbing things about the Muslim-Hindu clashes in Leicester. The first is the violence itself. Gangs of men have clashed across the city. Hundreds of Muslim and Hindu youths in balaclavas and Covid masks – those plague-era face-coverings still have their uses, it seems – have confronted each other on normally quiet suburban streets. Glass bottles have been thrown, a knife was allegedly wielded (one man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a ‘bladed article’). It really blew up on Saturday night into Sunday morning, as the rest of the country was preparing for the queen’s funeral. You couldn’t have asked for a better, more depressing snapshot of fragmented Britain: a display of solemn unity in Westminster, violent religious streetfighting in Leicester.

Iranian women are burning their headscarves and cutting off their hair in protest at the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after her arrest by Tehran’s notorious morality police.
Videos posted on social media showed protesters setting fire to hijabs while chanting promises to “take revenge” for “our sister” Amini, who died in hospital on Friday after three days in a coma following her arrest during a visit to the capital.
