Freedom Convoy-affiliated group being evicted from Ottawa church

The owner of a historic church in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood is evicting a group with ties to the ‘Freedom Convoy’ occupation planning to purchase the property this fall, in an apparent dispute over unpaid rent for the facility.

A “Notice of Termination of Tenant” notice on the front door of St. Brigid’s Church on St. Patrick Street says the landlord has terminated the occupancy of the United People of Canada under the Commercial Tenancies Act, and the locks will be changed.

Previous articles stated the group had purchased the Church it appears they were not planning to do so until the fall.

Since the stabbing attack, Sadek has been subjected to a campaign of incitement and threats of murder and rape through social media posts and text messages sent to her personal phone number.

The entertainment industry is putting woke indoctrination ahead of entertainment.

There is little doubt that the American entertainment industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of the culture wars today.

Wokeness is already hegemonic in Hollywood and in mass-entertainment media like Netflix. So much so that culture warriors are now attempting to colonise new sectors and genres that have previously resisted their ideological influence.

One such example is country-and-western music. Woke elites are now using their influence over Nashville’s radio and recording industry to try to separate country music from its traditional roots.

The FBI raid on Donald Trump’s estate has temporarily pushed the China threat out of the headlines. But, of course, the threat is still there and so is the question of how to respond to it.

Teddy Roosevelt said that when dealing with hostile foreign powers one should “speak softly and carry a big stick.” In other words, don’t provoke your enemies, but let them know that you possess sufficient fire power and personnel to handle any situation that may arise.

Warren Thwing collects model trains and Avro Arrow paraphernalia, posters and stamps. The keepsakes at his home in Kingston, Ont., span aviation, hockey, Star Trek and car racing. But by far his biggest haul is of RCMP memorabilia.

“I have always been a lover of the Mounties,” he said in an interview with CBC News. “I wanted to join the RCMP years ago, but I was that short on the height requirement — it was five foot eight, and I was a half-inch short.”

St. Brigid’s “Convoy” church tenants want charges laid against creepy commie poster campaigners

Posters against the group setting up shop in the former St. Brigid’s church in Lowertown will have to come down because they violate city bylaws, according to the head of Ottawa Bylaw and Regulatory Services.

The posters said, “St. Brigid’s belongs to our community not to the convoy.”

… The posters point to a Horizon Ottawa petition calling for the city to step in and find another buyer or buy the property itself.

Ottawa must be inhabited by Canada’s communist party.

The convoy group purchased the church but the creeps want it confiscated.

Poll: 53% of Americans say there is an ‘invasion’ at the southern border while more than one-third claim they are being ‘systematically replaced by immigrants’

More than half of Americans believe that the situation at the southern border amounts to an ‘invasion’ while another third of respondents in a new poll expressed worry over being replaced by illegal immigrants.

The new NPR/Ipsos poll released Thursday shows an overall decline in support for immigration as new images emerge every day of hundreds to thousands of migrants crossing illegally over the southern border.

Aerial video from the southern border on Thursday shared by Fox News showed yet another large group, this time of approximately 150 mostly single adults, arriving in Eagle Pass, Texas after illegally traversing the Rio Grande River from Mexico.
