Or, to be more exact, leading human, as its star Ezra Miller has dismissed conventional ideas of being pigeonholed as anything conventional. They declared in 2018 that, “Queer just means no, I don’t do that. I don’t identify as a man. I don’t identify as a woman. I barely identify as a human.”

But today, NBC News reports on some new evidence which suggests it’s not skin contact but sex between men which is the main way the virus is spreading.

Mad At Mullahs: Attacks On Iranian Clerics Highlight Rising Public Anger

A woman assaulted a cleric in the holy Shi’ite city of Qom, home to seminaries and senior ayatollahs, knocking off his turban and stepping on it after he apparently warned her about her hijab.

The video of the incident went viral last year, with many praising the woman, while there was almost no sympathy for the cleric, who some said deserved the treatment.

This sort of grassroots resistance is encouraging and I wish the Iranian people success in toppling the Mad Mullahs.

However you have to wonder about a peoples willingness and ability to resist in light of Afghanistan.

A massive refugee problem could have been avoided if the Afghan people chose to fight. In a nation awash in weapons armed resistance should not be a problem.

Perhaps they got the nation they wished for.

Windsor Castle trespasser said ‘I am here to kill the Queen’, court hears

A crossbow-wielding intruder in the grounds of Windsor Castle approached a police officer and announced he was there “to kill the Queen”, a court has heard.

Jaswant Singh Chail is charged with intending to injure or alarm the Queen under the little-used Treason Act after he was arrested on Christmas Day last year.

The 20-year-old, from Southampton, is the first person in more than 40 years to be charged with offences under the 1842 legislation.

Judge sides with Enbridge in Michigan’s latest bid to shut down pipeline

A Michigan judge has ruled in favour of Enbridge Inc. in its long-standing dispute with the state over the Line 5 cross-border pipeline.

In her ruling on Thursday, Judge Janet Neff said the case belongs in federal court — a blow to Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s bid to shut down the pipeline.

It’s the second time in nine months that Neff has sided with Enbridge on the question of jurisdiction.

‘Reliable Sources’ Host Brian Stelter Out at CNN

Brian Stelter will depart CNN, multiple sources confirmed to The Daily Beast, as the network has canceled his Sunday media show Reliable Sources.

CNN CEO Chris Licht informed Stelter of the decision on Wednesday, according to NPR, and his last show will be Sunday. A CNN spokesperson confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon: “CNN will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st. As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors.”

Finland’s PM Sanna Marin denies taking drugs after video leaked of her partying

She was recently dubbed “the coolest politician in the world”, but Finland’s prime minister has had to deny taking illegal drugs after videos were leaked of her dancing, drinking and singing at a raucous party.

Among the 20 or so people at the party were artists, TV hosts, an MP, a celebrity stylist and a social media influencer.

In the leaked video footage, unidentified people are heard shouting about “flour”, which is a slang term for cocaine in Finland.
