Why is Canada euthanising the poor?

Nazi Euthanasia Racial Hygeine Useless Eaters

There is an endlessly repeated witticism by the poet Anatole France that ‘the law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread.’ What France certainly did not foresee is that an entire country – and an ostentatiously progressive one at that – has decided to take his sarcasm at face value and to its natural conclusion.

Since last year, Canadian law, in all its majesty, has allowed both the rich as well as the poor to kill themselves if they are too poor to continue living with dignity. In fact, the ever-generous Canadian state will even pay for their deaths. What it will not do is spend money to allow them to live instead of killing themselves.

Before Finally Overturning Roe, Supreme Court Must Block Yet Another Insurrection Attempt

Those who care about norms, decorum, civility, institutions, and rule of law must hold the leaker and any co-conspirators fully accountable for this egregious breach.

The Supreme Court is poised to relinquish its nearly 50-year stranglehold on abortion law and return the debate over whether states may protect unborn human life to the American people and their elected representatives, according to a draft opinion that was leaked to Politico reporters. If the draft opinion authored by Associate Justice Samuel Alito stands, it would be a momentous course correction for the court.

European Union’s Border-Protection System Now A Tourism Agency for Migrants

The pro-migrants lobby inside the European Union has won: Fabrice Leggeri, director-general of Frontex, the European agency tasked with guarding the EU’s borders, was forced to send a letter of resignation on April 28, 2022. His resignation was accepted by the board.

Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, was created in 2004 to help EU member states and countries associated with the Schengen area — countries allowing passport-free movement between them — to protect the EU’s external borders.

In 2021, Frontex had a budget of 544 million euros (half a billion dollars) and employed 1,000 European officials. By 2027, their number (coast guards and border guards) will increase tenfold. There are also plans that the European coast guards will be armed.

Fired Philadelphia cop is charged with murder for shooting 12-year-old boy dead while he lay on the ground after he ‘fired gun into unmarked police car’

A Philadelphia cop has been charged with murder for shooting dead an unarmed 12-year-old boy after a chase last month that began when the boy fired his own gun into the officer’s unmarked car.

Edsaul Mendoza has been charged with first degree murder for killing Thomas ‘TJ’ Siderio on March 1.

At a press conference, District Attorney Larry Krasner said a grand jury had been shown a video of the shooting that is not yet public, but which proved the shooting was a murder and not self-defense.

Germans split over heavy weapons deliveries to Ukraine

The German public is divided on the issue of military support for Ukraine. Many fear the delivery of tanks and training of Ukrainian soldiers in Germany may drag the country into the war.

After mounting pressure from the German public and its allies, the German government announced last week that it would send tanks to Ukraine. A day later, on April 28, the ruling coalition of center-left Social Democrats, Greens and neoliberal Free Democrats joined forces with the main opposition, the center-right Christian Democrats, to approve the delivery by a large majority in the federal parliament, the Bundestag.

However, the latest opinion polls show a rift in the German electorate as to whether or not to support that move.

Canada’s tax authority urged to act against Al-Quds Day mosques

B’nai Brith Canada on Monday wrote to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the revenue service of the federal government of Canada, demanding that it examine the charitable status of mosques that facilitated the recent Al-Quds Day hate-fest in downtown Toronto.

In a statement, B’nai Brith said that on Saturday, protesters who were mostly bused in from pick-up locations at mosques near Toronto, gathered downtown to call for the elimination of Israel.

As they marched around Nathan Philips Square, they chanted “Long live the intifada!”. In addition, protesters chanted, “We heed your call, oh Nasrallah!” in reference to Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, a designated terrorist entity in Canada.

Thanks to the kool-aid drinkers Canada is just too multicultural to revoke a mosque’s charitable status.
