‘Absolutely Fabulous‘ Actress Calls for Climate Change Rationing

British actress Joanna Lumley has called for a return to wartime rationing and the introduction of climate credit to tackle alleged manmade global warming.

Ms Lumley, best known for her role as Patsy Stone on Absolutely Fabulous, said that radical legislation was needed to save the planet, including the reintroduction of rationing, most well-known to have been imposed during the Second World War — and which continued to some degree, incredibly, for another 14 years until 1954, when rationing on bacon and other meat was finally lifted.

“Defund Meat”

Animal Rebellion activists scale government building in London demanding UK ‘defund meat’

Four eco-protesters scaled the facade of Britain’s Defra offices, claiming they’d remain in mid-air until Prime Minister Boris Johnson ended subsidies on meat and dairy agriculture and supported a plant-based transition instead.

Jesse Kline: Anti-oil crusader Steven Guilbeault hasn’t grown up since his radical lawbreaking days

It is somewhat apropos that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his new cabinet less than a week after Alberta released its “Report of the Public Inquiry into Anti-Alberta Energy Campaigns.” As detailed in that report, a central figure in the crusade to shut down oilsands development was Trudeau’s new environment minister, Steven Guilbeault, which exposes the prime minister’s past rhetoric about the need to strike a balance between the economy and the environment as meaningless.

Rookie ‘Rust’ armorer once made Nicolas Cage storm off film set after firing gun

A furious Nicolas Cage stormed off the set of a film where Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was in charge of weapons — and ripped the rookie armorer for firing a gun without warning, crew members said in a new report.

The 24-year-old “Rust” armorer– in charge of guns when Alec Baldwin shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins last Thursday — was repeatedly accused by crew members of breaking basic safety protocols on the Montana set of Cage’s “The Old Way” in August, they told TheWrap.

It has yet to be determined is she is in any way responsible for the Baldwin shooting.

Whiny Muslim terrorist wants more computer access and may not have to reveal passwords to parole officers

While a key architect of the Toronto 18 terrorism plot to detonate truck bombs in Toronto is pushing for more access to electronics while out of prison, the parole board is worried that requiring him to give his computer passwords to his parole supervisor might violate his rights.

Ontario reports 321 new Covid cases … and masks forever!

Ontario reports 321 new Covid cases … and masks forever!

Ontario reports 321 new COVID-19 cases, 10 more deaths

Ontario is reporting more than 300 new COVID-19 cases today as the daily case count rises slightly week-over-week.

Provincial health officials logged 321 new infections today, up from 269 on Tuesday and 304 last Wednesday.

Masks still key to fighting COVID-19 spread despite high vaccination, experts say

As provinces look at gradually lifting COVID-19 restrictions, masks should be among the last things to go, experts say, even with high vaccination rates.

That’s Ontario’s current plan – while it’s subject to change, the province anticipates lifting mask mandates in March 2022, after other measures like capacity limits and proof-of-vaccination requirements are already gone.

Poland Claws Back Sovereignty from European Union

Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal has ruled that Polish law takes precedence over European Union law. The landmark ruling, which seeks to reassert national sovereignty over certain judicial matters, has called into question the legitimacy of the EU’s supranational legal and political order.

The power struggle has angered European federalists, who are seeking to turn the 27-member EU into a European superstate — a United States of Europe — and who do not take kindly to those who challenge their authority.

The EU, which Poland joined in 2004, has vowed to retaliate, including with potential financial penalties. Poland, which threw off the yoke of Soviet domination in 1989, replied that EU institutions are unlawfully overstepping their powers.

Fleeing Afghanistan: ‘Women are imprisoned, while the criminals are free’

Close to midnight, the phone rang. With the pick-up location confirmed, it was time to leave.

Dressed in a full-length black chador, Judge Sana stepped into the street, her two young children hovering by her side. Each of them was carrying a single bag, stuffed with two sets of clothes, a passport, phone, cash, and as much food as they could carry for the journey ahead.

“When we left we didn’t know where we were going,” Sana recalled. “We were told there would be security risks on the way, but we accepted them all because we knew this was the only way out.”

Alan Dershowitz talks the legalities of Baldwin shooting…

Alan Dershowitz, an emeritus law professor at Harvard, is one of the greatest legal minds of our time, writing multiple books and publishing hundreds of articles about the law.  He has been defending clients in courtrooms since the 1970s and argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court.  He was also on the team that defended Donald Trump against impeachment.

Alan Dershowitz believes that Alec Baldwin’s shooting of Halyna Hutchins could be considered a homicide.  Gun safety protocols are so stringent that an accident of this kind is almost impossible.  Armando Gutierrez recalls that on the set of Purge of Kingdoms, “weapons went through maybe 10 people before any actor was handed anything.”  Prop masters must be licensed, secure permits, and go through strict procedures on set that ensure everyone’s safety.

A Jewish Far-Right Pundit Splits the French Jewish Community as He Rises

“…We’ve spent 20 years trying to explain to politicians who did not want to see it that there is an Islamist antisemitic threat in France,” said Simone Rodan-Benzaquen, the French managing director of the American Jewish Committee in Europe. “That becomes more complicated when it looks like Jews are racist, when racism in all its forms gets legitimized and when a cohesive Jewish position gets profoundly split by Mr. Zemmour.”

The French Jewish community of about half a million people is the largest in Western Europe. Some of them, particularly those of Sephardic descent living in poor suburban areas where episodes involving antisemitism from the Muslim community have become more common, find Mr. Zemmour’s uncompromising anti-immigrant and anti-Islam message appealing.”

Rape on a Train – Sowing the seeds of urban leftism.

Philadelphia’s Market Frankford El might be compared to a circus freak show on the move. The 45-minute ride from the Frankford Terminal to the 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby takes about 45 minutes. The innumerable station stops along the way include the drug-infested neighborhoods of Kensington, where slumped over Fentanyl and Synthetic Cannabinoid (K2/Spice) addicts enter the train in great numbers, often nodding out in their seats, spilling coffee or soft drinks and sometimes vomiting or urinating when fellow passengers aren’t looking. During the worst of the pandemic in 2020 when ridership was low, large numbers of homeless took to sleeping on the trains. Now that ridership is up to par, the sleepers are less obvious but the homeless keep coming, attracting all sorts of hucksters who roam from car to car selling candy, incense or beef jerky, no doubt shoplifted from stores. Despite recorded warnings from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (Septa) that passengers should not move between cars while the train is in motion, few obey the rule.

‘Rioters, Looters or Arsonists’: Judge Gives Rittenhouse A Big Pre-Trial Victory Against The Prosecution

“… Judge Bruce Schroeder denied Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger’s request to stop Rittenhouse’s defense team from referring to Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz as rioters and arsonists.

“If more than one of them were engaged in arson, rioting, looting, I’m not going to tell the defense you can’t call them that,” Schroeder said, according to ABC 7. Schroeder also said the three men could not be referred to as victims, according to the report.”
