Jewish groups decry mock ‘eviction notice’ sent to residents in Canadian cities

OTTAWA – Jewish advocacy groups are condemning a mock “eviction notice” dropped into mailboxes across Canada as part of a campaign to draw attention to the planned removal of Palestinians from a neighbourhood in East Jerusalem.

“We regret to inform you that your house is scheduled for demolition in the next three days. If you do not vacate the premise within this time frame, we reserve the right to destroy all remaining belongings,” the document reads.

U.S. Finds No Evidence of Alien Technology in Flying Objects, but Can’t Rule It Out, Either

WASHINGTON — American intelligence officials have found no evidence that aerial phenomena witnessed by Navy pilots in recent years are alien spacecraft, but they still cannot explain the unusual movements that have mystified scientists and the military, according to senior administration officials briefed on the findings of a highly anticipated government report.

The report determines that a vast majority of more than 120 incidents over the past two decades did not originate from any American military or other advanced U.S. government technology, the officials said. That determination would appear to eliminate the possibility that Navy pilots who reported seeing unexplained aircraft might have encountered programs the government meant to keep secret.

Whereabouts of two scientists fired from Winnipeg virus lab for possible national-security issues shrouded in mystery

Justin Trudeau Xiangguo Qiu Keding Cheng – Everybody say Xi

The whereabouts of two scientists at the centre of a parliamentary showdown over alleged national-security breaches at a high-security laboratory remain unknown, as Ottawa’s explanation for their firing has shifted.

Xiangguo Qiu, a former head of a key program at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, and her husband, Keding Cheng, have not publicly commented on why they were fired. Nor have they responded to questions from The Globe and Mail about whether their dismissal was related to the transfer of highly infectious viruses to China’s Wuhan Virology Institute.

The Globe has found that the scientists are no longer living in Winnipeg, and it is unclear if they are still in Canada. The RCMP would not say if they know where the couple are located.

Fiery protests rage yet again in Minneapolis after cops fatally shoot armed fugitive

Angry protesters lit fires, looted stores and taunted cops in Minneapolis Thursday after officers shot and killed a man — who was a fugitive who whipped out a handgun when authorities closed in on him.

Members of a US Marshals task force were attempting to arrest the unidentified man around 2 p.m. on a state warrant for being a felon in possession of a firearm, authorities said.

Ontario reports 914 new Covid cases … and … Are you really in Lockdown if you don’t have a job?

Ontario reports 900+ new COVID-19 cases; 19 additional deaths

Ontario reported more than 900 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and 19 deaths, the fourth day of a slow rise in cases that officials said may keep them from accelerating provincial reopening plans.

The province reported 914 new cases on Friday.

Hooray for Lockdown!

Canadian economy lost 68,000 jobs in May as COVID-19 lockdowns continued

Statistics Canada says the economy lost 68,000 jobs in May as lockdowns to slow the COVID-19 continued.

The unemployment rate was 8.2 per cent in May, little changed from the 8.1 per cent in April because the number of unemployed people in Canada overall stayed relatively steady.

What changed is that more people dropped out of the labour force in May, including workers who simply got discouraged and gave up looking for work.

America’s greatest enemy

Ancient Troy.  Ever wonder about the internal discussions that went on in that city and civilization when The Horse showed up outside its gates?  The Trojans had just survived a multi-year war and were emerging victorious, with the besieging Greek forces divided and demoralized and ready to head home.  In Troy, one can only guess at the level of acrimonious discussion about whether to take the supposed equine present into the city.

ADL’s ‘Brief History on Anti-Semitism’

A shameful cover-up.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) first published its “Brief History on Antisemitism” in 2013, but it is newly relevant amid the dramatic recent upswing in antisemitic attacks all over Europe and North America. The ongoing united efforts to delegitimize the Jewish state and support a Palestinian “resistance” that has sought to annihilate Israel from the day of its founding have been relentless, and have gained new impetus in recent weeks. Unfortunately, the ADL plays it safe in its history, ignoring Iran’s hatred of Jews, Arab nationalism and the alliance of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem with Hitler during the Holocaust.

Falling birth rates are not just a Chinese problem

Economic forces are disincentivising women from having babies everywhere

The Chinese government has announced that every family may now have three children. This policy change responds to a cratering fertility rate and looming demographic crisis that isn’t confined to China, but replicated all over the developed world.

China’s fertility rate in 2020 was 1.3 children per woman. This is worse than the 2020 US total fertility rate of 1.6, a figure much the same in the UK — and that was already falling before Covid struck.

Three cheers for the booing England fans

They’re right to boo the taking of the knee – it has become a ridiculous, sanctimonious spectacle.

Once again football fans have scandalised the chattering classes. This time it wasn’t their rude chanting, naked torsos or St George’s tattoos that caused the clipped-tones set to spill their infused tea. It was the fact that they said ‘boo’. More specifically that they said boo as football players took the knee. And as we all know, blaspheming against BLM is one of the greatest sins you can commit in the woke epoch – it’s right up there with referring to people with penises as men.

U.S. State Department Tried to Block Investigation of Lab Leak at Wuhan

A report in Vanity Fair details actions by some members of the U.S. State Department to block efforts to investigate the origins of the coronavirus because the inquiry could open “a can of worms.” An internal memo sent to department heads by Thomas DiNanno, former acting assistant secretary of the State Department’s Bureau of Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance, warned “not to pursue an investigation into the origin of COVID-19.”

NYPD operates over 15,000 facial recognition cameras as part of ‘Orwellian’ surveillance network – report

The NYPD controls an extensive network of cameras that it can use to track New Yorkers across the city, raising concerns about invasive and discriminatory policing tactics, according to an investigation by Amnesty International.

The NGO enlisted thousands of volunteers to hunt for cameras at intersections in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, in an effort to document the size and scope of the New York Police Department’s surveillance capabilities. In total, 15,280 cameras were located. When synced with facial recognition technology (FRT), the cameras are capable of tracking New Yorkers across all three boroughs, Amnesty said.

Help Wanted: What to Call the Progressive Left?

History has not prepared us for a Democrat regime like this.

I am looking for a name to describe today’s progressive Left, and perhaps you can help.

Some people I know call left-wing Dems “communists,” and I’ve always hated that. It brings back memories of the Red Scare and reds under the beds. Even though there really were reds in the State Department, Joe McCarthy gave conservatism a bad name, and we don’t want to go back there.

Jen Psaki’s Answer to Fauci Emails Question Shows Why Hearings Should Be Conducted ASAP

White House press secretary Jen Psaki was treated to exactly zero questions Wednesday on the recently-released treasure trove of Dr. Fauci emails.

But she did get one today, and her answer not only was in no way acceptable, but it also further proved a point Republicans have been making about how hearings need to be scheduled and conducted ASAP with Dr. Fauci prominently featured front and center in them to face questions.

‘No Longer a Secret’: Swedish Police Chief Links Deadly Shootings to Immigration

Erik Nord, the head of the Greater Gothenburg police area, has admitted a link between mass shootings and immigration.

The Swedish Crime Prevention Council (Brå) recently issued a report suggesting that Sweden is the only country in Europe where fatal shootings are on the rise, and that Sweden has the second most fatal shootings in Europe after only Croatia.
