Minneapolis to pay $27 million to settle lawsuit with George Floyd’s family

Minneapolis will pay $27 million to settle a lawsuit brought by George Floyd’s family, a new record for a police payout in the city.

After a roughly 40-minute meeting, City Council members voted unanimously to approve the settlement, and Mayor Jacob Frey’s office said he will approve it as well.

Of the $27 million, $500,000 will be used “for the benefit of the community around 38th and Chicago,” where Floyd died.

7th Accuser: Ex-Gov. Cuomo staffer says he hired her for her looks, then verbally, mentally abused her … Cuomo says will not resign

A former aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo described how he spotted her at a lobbying event, “grabbed her in a kind of dance pose” and then had her hired for his office, where he went on to “verbally and mentally abuse” her, she told New York Magazine, recalling how he would critique her outfits and once threatened to “end” her career over her failure to transfer a phone call.

Palestinians: Why Terrorists Support Mass Murderers

While many Palestinians hold Iran’s slain military commander Qassem Soleimani responsible for committing massacres against Palestinians and Arabs, especially in war-torn Syria, the Palestinian Islamist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad are continuing to heap praise on him for supporting their anti-Israel terrorist activities.

Soleimani, former commander of Iran’s Quds Force, was killed in a US drone attack in Iraq on January 3, 2020. Many Palestinians and Arabs have denounced Soleimani as the “murderer of hundreds of thousands of women and children” in Syria, Yemen and Iraq.

WARMINGTON: City of Toronto staffer and others flock across freedom border

WARMINGTON: City of Toronto staffer and others flock across freedom border

Even locked down City of Toronto workers are heading to the land of freedom and opportunity called York Region.

But this City of Toronto car was hardly the only representation at the corner of Steeles Ave. W. and Dufferin St., which has become one of those bizarre border points. There are so many great places to patronize on both sides of the street.

My hair is an ungodly mess, in fact I am at least three months past due for a cut, given I’m under home quarantine through the 19th ain’t nothin can be done even if I wanted to.

I could scoot up to Vaughan or wherever once freed but the guy who cut Kathy’s and my own hair for the last 20 years is still closed thanks to our Covid commissars.

He survived the 1st lockdown but just barely. He always treated Kathy so well I promised I would wait till he was open again to help keep him afloat.

Even if it means looking like Cousin it.

Just 17% Of Canadians Support Canada’s Highest Quotas In Immigration History

Just 17% Of Canadians Support Canada’s Highest Quotas In Immigration History

“A Nanos Research Group poll, reported by Bloomberg News, found that only 17% of respondents think the country should accept more immigrants in 2021 than it did in 2020.

The result is a shunning of majority opinion by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. As Cultural Action Party has pointed out, within the world of public polls in Canada, a curious state-of-affairs exists.

Immigration policy should be designed solely to benefit citizens not the corporate sector or political parties as is the case in Canada.

Tucker strikes back: Fox host accuses Pentagon of ‘declaring WAR’ on his show after DOD attacks his comments on pregnant soldiers

Fox host Tucker Carlson returned fire after the Pentagon launched a “large and coordinated” PR blitz against his show over criticism that the military may be too “feminine,” saying the DOD has no place attacking a US news outlet.

“Since when does the Pentagon declare war on a domestic news operation? I can’t remember that ever happening,” Carlson said on a segment of his show on Thursday night, adding “This is genuinely worrisome. The Department of Defense has never been more aggressively or openly political.”

Ontario reports 1,371 new covid cases… Tam, Hajdu endorse Astra Zeneca jab so now you know to steer clear of it

Tam, Hajdu confident in Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine

OTTAWA — Canada’s top doctor and federal health minister say they see no reason to halt the use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in Canada, as other countries have done citing blood clots following inoculations.

Speaking to Evan Solomon, host of CTV News Channel’s Power Play, on Thursday, Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said that because Canada hasn’t been supplied with the same batch of AstraZeneca vaccines as the several European countries who have suspended its use, there’s no need to follow suit.

If they’re endorsing it I’m staying away.

‘We’re going to lose fast’: U.S. Air Force held a war game that started with a Chinese biological attack

Last fall, the U.S. Air Force simulated a conflict set more than a decade in the future that began with a Chinese biological-weapon attack that swept through U.S. bases and warships in the Indo-Pacific region. Then a major Chinese military exercise was used as cover for the deployment of a massive invasion force. The simulation culminated with Chinese missile strikes raining down on U.S. bases and warships in the region, and a lightning air and amphibious assault on the island of Taiwan.

Why Macron had to take on Islamism – Islamo-gauchisme

Why Macron had to take on Islamism – Islamo-gauchisme

The French president is now caught between Le Pen and Le Monde

In France it has become difficult to have a rational debate about anything to do with Islam or Islamism. The opposing sides accuse one another of hysteria. Often, not always, they have a point. But in recent days, France — chattering, media-political France at any rate — has exploded into a blazing quarrel about a hyphenated word: Islamo-gauchisme or “Islamo-leftism”. What is it? Does it really exist? Is it, as some people say, a threat to the French way of life?

The term was invented 19 years ago by a French academic to describe an alliance between radical Islam and the extreme Left. The word has since been hijacked by the French Right – both the far right and more traditional conservatives — to mock attempts to combat racism or discrimination against France’s 5,000,000 Muslims.

George Floyd memorial site reportedly now an anti-cop autonomous zone

Left-wing militants have reportedly turned a memorial site for George Floyd in Minneapolis into a “volatile” autonomous zone — where police and even other protesters aren’t welcome.

The memorial, called George Floyd Square, popped up in the days after the 46-year-old’s police-involved death on May 25 — the catalyst for a global movement against police brutality and racial inequality.

Former ADL Director Discovers Virulent Islamic Anti-Semitism

Abe Foxman finds himself at odds with his former support of Democratic orthodoxy over Islam and Israel.

President Donald “Trump is a demagogue and his presidency threatens American democracy,” former Anti-Defamation League (ADL) director Abraham Foxman wrote on September 11, 2020,  in opposition to Trump’s reelection. Yet review of Foxman’s 2003 bookNever Again: The Threat of the New Anti-Semitism, actually indicates that Jews such as him and others should have voted for Trump over Vice President Joe Biden.

The ADL is as big a sham as the SPLC. Democrat party smear machines.
