John Kerry Accepted Environmental Award In Iceland After Arriving In Private Jet

“I understand that you came here with a private jet. Is that an environmental way to travel?” Grímsson asked Kerry, Fox News reported. Kerry explained it as a necessity for “somebody like me” and touted his career-long efforts in fighting climate change, citing the Paris Climate Accord as an example, which Biden re-entered the U.S. into through an executive order on Jan. 20.

“If you offset your carbon — it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,” Kerry told Grímsson

Trudeau is failing Canada on vaccines and needs a new plan

When will Canadians get vaccines delivered? When will we be able to get shots into arms?

The truth is the answers to these questions are getting murkier by the day despite assurances from the Trudeau government that European export controls won’t affect us and despite an announcement that vaccines will be made in Canada.

AOC’s body politics: The congresswoman uses a sexual assault claim as a political cudgel

AOC’s body politics: The congresswoman uses a sexual assault claim as a political cudgel

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is no stranger to attention. The second-term congresswoman was the second most talked-about politician in 2019, just behind then-President Donald Trump. AOC loves to frequently jump on livestream videos to talk directly to her fans and voters, whether while she’s making macaroni, building furniture, or playing a wildly popular multiplayer game. It was during one of these Instagram livestreams on Monday night that she committed perhaps her gravest sin yet as a politician.

It’s weird, she abused herself. #Itoo

Secretary of Ethnic Studies?

President Biden’s choice to lead the Education Department has a thin record—except in one trailblazing area.

President Biden’s nomination of Miguel Cardona to be Secretary of Education was greeted with a sigh of relief from some education reformers—more for who he isn’t than for who he is. He isn’t a teachers’ union leader. He’s not a tenured radical. He isn’t a vocal charter school opponent.

Cardona doesn’t, in fact, have much of a paper trail.

Hate for Donald Trump metastasizes to hating his supporters

A mirror would kill Nancy Sinatra.

As so many of us sit back and are subjected to the continued meltdown of various people who “hate” President Donald Trump, an affliction has now metastasized to hating his 75 million supporters.

The latest case in point is Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra’s now 80-year-old daughter. In an interview with the Guardian, within which she ‘hopes for peace in the US,’ the newspaper reported her feelings about Mr. Trump: “The last four years, though, have taken a toll on her mental health. ‘I couldn’t believe that this great nation had sunk so low,’ she says. ‘I’ll never forgive the people that voted for him, ever. I have an angry place inside of me now. I hope it doesn’t kill me.’”

Palestinians: No to Normalization with the ‘Zionist entity’

If and when the Biden administration manages to revive the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, it will have to take into consideration that the Arab campaign against normalization with Israel remains as aggressive as ever.

The anti-normalization campaign, which is also waged by Palestinians, means that any Palestinian leader or negotiator who is seen sitting with an Israeli will be condemned by Palestinians and possibly other Arabs as a traitor.

Americans Buying Guns at ‘Blistering Pace,’ FBI Data Shows: Expert

Newly released background check data from January shows Americans are buying guns at a “blistering pace,” a firearms expert said.

“That’s undoubtedly connected to President Joe Biden’s plans to attack the firearm industry by undoing and rewriting regulations and executive actions to target the firearm industry,” Mark Olivia, director of public affairs at the National Shooting Sports Foundation, said in a statement.

Rick Wilson Threatens Critics in ‘Exclusive’ Straw Man Defense of Embattled Lincoln Project

Rick Wilson, cofounder of the Lincoln Project, has spent enough time around politicians and lawyers to be well-versed in the art of the straw man deflection, the non-denial denial, and the carefully worded bluster of righteous indignation.

Wilson skillfully deployed all of these familiar tactics Tuesday evening in what was teasingly billed as an “exclusive response” to the allegations of predatory sexual behavior against Lincoln Project cofounder John Weaver, who is no longer affiliated with the Democratic-aligned Super PAC. In the words of Lincoln Project TV host Tara Setmayer: “It’s going to be 🔥🔥. Don’t miss it!”

Cornell Professor Invents Critical Race Theory Watchdog Site

Cornell law professor William Jacobson unveiled a website to track the rise of critical race theory — the ideology that claims America is irredeemably rooted in racism — on college campuses.

CriticalRace.org is a resource for parents and students to examine the impact and scope of critical race theory on higher education institutions. The website claims to be “the most comprehensive database” of its kind. It currently tracks 200 schools, though Jacobson told The Daily Wire it will likely expand to monitoring 500 schools in the coming months.

Clearview AI broke Canadian privacy laws with facial recognition tool, watchdogs say

OTTAWA — A new watchdog report says Canadian use of U.S. firm Clearview AI’s facial-recognition technology violated federal and provincial laws governing personal information.

In a report today with three provincial counterparts, federal privacy commissioner Daniel Therrien says the New York-based company’s scraping of billions of images of people from across the internet represented mass surveillance and was a clear violation of Canadians’ privacy rights.

A victory? That Genie is out of the bottle, we are all the “usual suspects” now.
