The Coming Assault on Religious Freedom

Modern-day Thomas Beckets are needed to stop it.

Joe Biden’s view of religious freedom is exceedingly narrow. Where religious freedom conflicts with the goals of liberalism, he supports suppressing it. He has promised Planned Parenthood that he will resume the Obama-era harassment of the Little Sisters of the Poor and other religious groups if they don’t conform to his mandates. During the campaign, he opposed “broad exemptions” for those who resist his view of LGBTQ rights.

‘Islamic State’: Weakened, but still dangerous

The two women and 12 children the German Foreign Ministry recently got released from the al-Hol prison camp in northern Syria have returned to Germany. It was a humanitarian gesture from the German side. And for the Kurdish autonomous government, it means less of a burden on their security forces.

The camp houses about 64,000 people, most of them from a region once occupied by the “Islamic State” (IS) terrorist organization. Most of the detainees are Syrian and Iraqi citizens, according to a UN report. It says almost 9,500 come from elsewhere, many of them from Europe.

Ex-FDA head predicts new COVID-19 strain will be ‘majority’ of US cases by March

Ex-FDA head predicts new COVID-19 strain will be ‘majority’ of US cases by March

Former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb on Sunday predicted that the contagious, new strain of COVID-19 will account for the “majority” of cases in the US by March.

“There are some estimates that the new variant probably represents about 1 percent of all infections in this country. By March, it’s going to be the majority of infections,” Gottlieb said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Gottlieb said it will “grow quickly” and its arrival adds more pressure to ensure COVID-19 vaccines are distributed as soon as possible.

US: “Not Now One of the World’s Better-Functioning Democracies”

November 3, 2020. New York. Midnight. A reporter on television said that election vote counting had been stopped in several states. At this point, President Donald J. Trump seemed in a position to win and easily to have a second term. Commenting a bit later, he said, “We did win,” but added a warning: “We don’t want them to find any ballot at four o clock in the morning”. By morning, everything had changed. Thousands more ballots had appeared. States where Trump had a clear lead displayed different results. Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared to have won.

Three days later, on November 7, Biden delivered a victory speech. Trump repeated, “I won this election”. He added, “by a lot”.

China lab leak is the ‘most credible’ source of the coronavirus outbreak, says top US government official, amid bombshell claims Wuhan scientist has turned whistleblower

China lab leak is the ‘most credible’ source of the coronavirus outbreak, says top US government official, amid bombshell claims Wuhan scientist has turned whistleblower

One of America’s most senior government officials says the most ‘credible’ theory about the origin of coronavirus is that it escaped from a laboratory in China.

Matthew Pottinger, who is President Donald Trump’s respected Deputy National Security Adviser, told politicians from around the world that even China’s leaders now openly admit their previous claims that the virus originated in a Wuhan market are false.

Mr Pottinger said that the latest intelligence points to the virus leaking from the top-secret Wuhan Institute of Virology, 11 miles from the market, saying: ‘There is a growing body of evidence that the lab is likely the most credible source of the virus.’

Delingpole: ‘I Don‘t Care‘ About Jet-Setting Climate Hypocrites, Says Greta

Doom Goblin Greta Thunberg has giving her blessing to everyone who wants to fly in 2021 – even, or perhaps especially, if they are a rich, preachy, jet-setting climate hypocrite.

Interviewed in the Sunday Times (of London), the pigtailed, anorak-wearing school dropout tells a fawning reporter that she “doesn’t care” about “celebrities who talk about the environment while flying around the world”:

The real reason WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange shouldn’t be pardoned

For years, Julian Assange was an icon to the cultural and political left. Benedict Cumberbatch played him as a kind of sexy superspy for the cyber age in “The Fifth Estate,” back in 2013. Assange was depicted as a dashing “whistleblower” and hero. A French fashion magazine called him one of the 20 best-dressed men in the world, and Time magazine hailed him as one of the most influential people in the world in 2011.

Professional Sports Experienced Steep Fall in Ratings and Revenue in 2020

Sports industry profits dropped by billions of dollars in 2020 across major leagues as the CCP virus pandemic caused stadiums to close up.

Despite larger amounts of people staying home due to lockdowns, TV ratings also plummeted remarkably—to about an average of half of last year’s figure.

Front Office Sports reported that the league that suffered the greatest was the MLB at $5.2 billion. The league was widely criticized for appeasing to the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter and other leftist movements.

Locally the tone deaf Toronto Raptors have been running an ad that opens with a shot of a Black Lives Matter banner.  Imagine that, the wealthy and privileged running ads for a communist race-hate group. Maybe the Leafs will run an ad for the KKK.

These Cities Built Minor League Ballparks With Taxpayer Money. Now They Don’t Have Teams To Play in Them.

A reshuffling and reduction of Major League Baseball’s feeder system means spending taxpayer money on stadiums looks even more foolish than it was before.

You can bet Tory’s pals will be demanding tax dollars for a new stadium. With luck they’ll move out of town.
