Feds’ Firearm Ban Does Not Address Root Causes of Gun Violence: RCMP Union

The RCMP union says the Liberal government’s firearm ban targeted at legal firearm owners, does not address the “more immediate and growing threat of criminal use of illegal firearms.”

The National Police Federation (NPF), a union that represents 20,000 RCMP members, issued a statement (pdf) on Monday to express their concern over the rising number of illegal guns and shootings in Canada. It says the firearm bans by the liberal government have in fact diverted “extremely important personnel, resources, and funding” away from addressing the root causes of gun violence—illegal guns trafficked across the Canada-U.S. border and criminals using the firearms to commit crimes eventually.

The most prolific activism demanding more Silicon Valley censorship is found in the nation’s largest news outlets: the media reporters of CNN, the “disinformation” unit of NBC News, and especially the tech reporters of The New York Times. That is where the most aggressive and sustained pro-internet-censorship campaigns are waged.

Eric Hoffer had it right about great movements but he need not have limited the idea only to great movements. There is a movement afoot in America today that has been a Racket from its very inception. This movement has declared itself to be in opposition to greatness. It has slandered greatness, calling it racism, white-supremacy, xenophobia, and theft. It is a movement cloaked in mystery. It has intentionally hidden its real meaning from the world. The Democrat party is at the center of that cloud of mystery. The Obama campaign characterized it as “Hope and Change”. Hope for what and Change to what were never specified. Hillary was too specific in the “I’m With Her” slogan. The Biden campaign called it “Build Back Better” the alliteration of nothingness. In any case, the Democrat Party has demanded that we believe that they are “Who We Are”.

Recommendations in a June 2019 report by the Liberal-dominated justice and human rights standing committee titled “Taking Action to End Online Hate” included “a national database to retain and analyze hate crime and hate incident data.” The report also recommended a “civil remedy,” such as putting hate speech back in the domain of human rights tribunals.

And Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault has stated that stronger regulation is coming.

Combined, the drugmakers said the vaccine appeared to be 70 per cent effective. But the way in which the results were arrived at and reported by the companies has led to pointed questions from experts.

Quebec mosque shooter’s sentence cut from 40 to 25 years before possibility of parole

Quebec’s Court of Appeal says it was unconstitutional to give a 40-year prison sentence to the man who killed six people and critically injured several others in a Quebec City mosque in 2017.

Alexandre Bissonnette was sentenced in 2019 after he pleaded guilty to six counts of first-degree murder and six-counts of attempted murder. It was the longest ever handed down in Quebec.

But in a unanimous ruling released Thursday, the appeals court reduced Bissonnette’s sentence to 25 years without the possibility of parole instead.

Similarly, leaders across the rich world, including U.S. president-elect Joe Biden and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who just announced an even more ambitious deadline of 2030, promise lavish carrots along with sticks to outlaw gasoline cars. Unfortunately, electric cars will achieve only tiny emissions savings at a very high price.

Legal Group Files Lawsuit Challenging Over 200,000 Ballots in Georgia

A legal group on Wednesday filed a lawsuit alleging over 100,000 illegal votes were counted in Georgia, while tens of thousands of legal votes weren’t counted.

According to the suit, the estimated number of such votes exceeds 200,000.

“Because of these irregularities, no one knows who really won Georgia’s presidential election. So, the election result should be nullified and the appointment of the electors should revert to the state legislature, as provided in Article II of the United States Constitution,” the 28-page document states.
