WARMINGTON: It doesn’t get any more despicable than stealing from the dead

It doesn’t get any lower and creepier than robbing graves.

This man and woman accused of doing this 300 times in Halton, Hamilton, Niagara and Toronto found a way to make it even more gross, disturbing and evil, according to police. This story is 18-karat crazy in which the accused couple are alleged to have removed jewelry from bodies resting inside GTA mausoleums.

PBS Claims Military Officers Are Lawyering Up Over Trump’s Orders but What’s Really Happening?

Sometimes it is impossible to hate PBS enough.

President Trump’s war on narco-terrorists and pressure campaign against Venezuelan autocrat Nicolas Maduro is decidedly unpopular in a lot of quarters. Sooner or later, an enterprising person in a profession that is supposed to search out the truth might get around to asking why there is such support for drug cartels and Chinese-influenced dictators among our “foreign policy” elites, but I’m not holding my breath.

The oil pipeline feud testing Canada’s global ambitions

As Canada looks to untangle itself economically from the US, the country’s landlocked oil patch is eyeing new customers in Asia through a pipeline to the Pacific. Not everyone is on board.

The oil-rich province of Alberta has had one demand for Prime Minister Mark Carney: Help us build an oil pipeline — and fast.

It’s no small task — in fact, some argue it has become near-impossible to build a pipeline in Canada because of laws designed to bolster environmental protections. Three oil pipelines have died on the vine in the past decade over fierce opposition.

Complaint against U. Central Arkansas alleges some scholarships discriminate against white students

A civil rights complaint recently filed against the University of Central Arkansas alleges that 10 scholarships run by the public university illegally discriminate based on race or sex, appearing to favor female students or students of color.

The complaint uses screenshots taken from the school’s website to back up its claims, flagging scholarships that accept applicants who are specifically “African-American students,” “underserved minority students,” and “Hispanic minority students.”

TAYLOR: Why does Ottawa want to put ca$h out of business?

St-Viateur Bagels is Montreal’s oldest bagel shop. Local foodies, celebrities and international tourists all flock to its famous shop in the city’s Mile End neighbourhood for its holey creations. “This is an artisanal product — hand-made and baked in a wood-fired oven,” said co-owner Vince Morena proudly. But once inside, there’s only one way for those hungry customers to get their hands on a firm, chewy wood-fired bagel. As Morena explained, “it is cash only.”

Kash Patel Drops COVID Origin Bombshell

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a bombshell during a recent interview with Glenn Beck, and anyone who has watched the federal bureaucracy sabotage President Trump at every turn will recognize the pattern instantly. Patel walked through how the Trump administration evaluated intelligence about the virus in the early days and how that assessment collided with a coordinated effort inside the bureaucracy and the media to protect China, shield Anthony Fauci, and deny Trump credit for getting it right.

Mayor’s ‘priority’ Dundas TTC station renaming comes with hidden costs

The renaming of Dundas station could come at a $400,000 cost to City Hall – if not more – and has generated friction at the TTC, the Toronto Sun has learned.

That renaming was decided upon at a May meeting of the TTC board. What’s now Dundas will become TMU station as part of a sweeping partnership with nearby Toronto Metropolitan University.

In shift, Trump says House should vote to release Epstein files

In a sharp reversal, President Donald Trump said late Sunday that House Republicans should support a measure that would require the Justice Department to release the information it has related to its investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — after key lawmakers said support was building ahead of a closely watched vote.

Trump, who has resisted backing such a measure for weeks, said on social media that he believes Republican lawmakers “should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide.”

Coke to Canada: Suck Fructose Losers!

Despite Trump’s cane sugar activism, Canadian Coke drinkers should get used to high-fructose corn syrup

WASHINGTON, D.C. — “Coke is it” was a popular TV ad for the famed soda back in 1982, featuring teens singing Coca-Cola’s praises around a piano. It was around that same time when the company started using high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) instead of cane sugar in their main product — and would soon launch the flop known as “New Coke” — so a better catchphrase might have been, “Which Coke is it?”

Coke always brings a smile. K loved “Mexican Coke” made with cane sugar.

Mysterious drones have been spotted at night at airports across Europe. How worried should we be?

First comes the warning, that disembodied voice over the tannoy: “Your attention please. Air siren in the city. Please move to the shelter on the minus second floor.” Then comes the mosquito-like whine of the incoming Russian drones, massing in their hundreds just above the clouds.

It’s followed immediately by the rattle of anti-aircraft fire, the distant thud of explosions, then finally the ominous klaxon call of ambulance and fire sirens.

This is the grim reality of night time in Kyiv and other cities across Ukraine.

These are attack drones that explode on impact.

Mark Carney lost the battle over Brexit. Now he’s losing to Trump

The ‘high priest of Project Fear’ is struggling to shield Canada’s industrial heartlands from US tariffs

Mass lay-offs at Canada’s rail freight-carriage maker National Steel Car are expected to hit a little bit before Christmas.

After Donald Trump imposed tariffs on steel imports to the US in the spring, the manufacturing plant in Hamilton, Ontario, has had no new orders.

“The building I’m in is working on number 290 of a 300-car order. We’ll be done by the first week of December and then we will be laid off,” says Jonas Barry, 51, who has worked at the factory for the last eight years. “Probably most of the plant will be laid off.

At least 120 hurt in gen Z protests over corruption and drug violence in Mexico

At least 120 people were injured as thousands of gen Z protesters took to the streets of Mexico City and across the country to voice their anger at corruption and the drug violence that claims tens of thousands of Mexican lives each year.

Saturday’s rallies, which took place in dozens of cities from Tijuana in the north to Oaxaca in the south drew large crowds, with some demonstrators carrying the One Piece pirate flag that has become a global symbol of the youth movement.

“We need more security,” said Andres Massa, 29, a business consultant who was among those carrying the flag.

Europe stopped a Hamas-linked terror plot — and Canada should heed the warning

In recent weeks, German authorities — working with partners across Europe and with crucial intelligence support from Israel — disrupted a sophisticated Hamas-linked plot to carry out targeted assassinations against Jewish and Israeli civilians in Berlin and other cities. Five suspects were arrested in Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and at the Czech border. Weapons included an AK-47, eight Glock pistols, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

This is misinformation. In Canada only Christians and Nazi Fight Clubbers can be terrorists and all Muslims are saints even the Uber driver sex fiends.

Rail explosion in Poland was ‘sabotage,’ prime minister says

A rail line in Poland was blown up Sunday in “an unprecedented act of sabotage,” Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Monday, vowing to “catch the perpetrators.”

The affected line links Warsaw, the capital, to the eastern Polish city of Lublin and continues onward to Ukraine, and it has been used to deliver aid to Ukraine. Without specifically accusing Russia, Tusk connected the apparent attack to the war in Ukraine.

“Blowing up the rail track on the Warsaw-Lublin route is an unprecedented act of sabotage targeting directly the security of the Polish state and its civilians,” Tusk wrote Monday on X. “This route is also crucially important for delivering aid to Ukraine. We will catch the perpetrators, whoever they are.”
