FSD Beta enables Tesla vehicles to drive autonomously to a destination entered in the car’s navigation system, but the driver needs to remain vigilant and ready to take control at all times.
Since the responsibility lies with the driver and not Tesla’s system, it is still considered a level two driver-assist system despite its name. Tesla is basically using its customer fleet to test the capabilities and gather data to improve toward its goal of eventually making the system truly self-driving and taking responsibility for it.
According to the program, migrant students will receive backpacks full of supplies, mental health counseling, and enrollment assistance as they choose which schools to attend. These families will also have access to shelters and lodging, and the city will prioritize school bus “routing for all students in temporary housing.” The city also says it will coordinate with its Department of Youth & Community Development “to prioritize after-school enrollment for students/ families impacted communities.”
Under the “Vaccinations” section, the plan stated that the government will “link these families to [Federally Qualified Health Clinics] and health centers not just for immunizations but also for on-going pediatric care.”
The city advised families, “As a reminder, students in temporary housing are excluded from immunization requirements as part of their right to immediate enrollment.”
In a new release, the Government of Canada said that isolation remains one of the best ways to slow the spread of COVID despite it being over two years since COVID began and there being little to no evidence to support such a position.
The government continues, saying that the isolation site will be used to accommodate foreign agri-workers who can’t find a place to isolate when they enter Canada. “These workers tend to live in close accommodations and work in congregate settings, which makes it difficult to isolate, if required,” reads the news release.
Former President Donald Trump on Monday filed a lawsuit asking a federal judge to appoint a special watchdog to review documents seized from his Florida home earlier this month as part of a criminal investigation of records that had been removed from the White House.
Trump’s lawsuit, which suggests the FBI raid on Aug. 8 was politically motivated, also asks the judge to block the Department of Justice from “further review of seized materials” from his Mar-a-Lago residence until the so-called special master is appointed to review those documents.
Special masters are appointed in criminal cases when there is a concern that some material seized by authorities should not be viewed by investigators because it is protected by attorney-client privilege or other concerns that weigh against it being used in a prosecution.
Canada is a low-fertility country whose fertility rates have steadily declined since 2008. Since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, the trend has intensified.

Canada’s low fertility rate is used by government as justification for steadily increasing immigration levels. The logic employed is that the birth rate is not high enough to grow Canada’s population and labour force.
I can remember reading about this worldwide trend in the mid-90s; governments deliberately chose to not incentivise having larger families. It’s all intentional.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) issued a blistering statement regarding Fauci’s imminent departure, saying the NIAID director will still be asked to testify despite his resignation later this year.
“Fauci’s resignation will not prevent a full-throated investigation into the origins of the pandemic,” Paul commented Monday in response to news Fauci was leaving his position.
“He will be asked to testify under oath regarding any discussions he participated in concerning the lab leak.”
A series of mainstream Canadian journalists and public activists received identical emails last week. The message suggested that people would be waiting outside a young reporter’s home, and implied coordinated plans for violence and stalking amid a flurry of racial and gender-based slurs.
Whether or not the premise of the email is true, the violent message was sent to numerous Canadian women who dare to be public figures. The calls in the text for broken windows and “wig-removal service” on specific journalists has one intention – to intimidate.

Saskatchewan Minister Jeremy Cockrill has sent a warning to the Trudeau government that officers sent by Ottawa will be arrested if they continue to trespass on farmland to test nitrogen levels.
According to Cockrill, Trudeau’s government has been unlawfully sending federal employees onto Saskatchewan farmlands to test for nitrogen levels without the consent of landowners.
In the letter, the Minister raised multiple complaints from Saskatchewan farmers that raised “serious concerns about Government of Canada employees, in clearly marked Government of Canada vehicles, trespassing on private lands.” The farmers reporting these trespasses made clear that these government agents did not request permission to access the land and were not in any other manner given consent to access it.
