Dems’ Climate Bill Overrules Supreme Court, Expands EPA’s Control Over Energy Industry

  • The Inflation Reduction Act defines “air pollutants” including carbon dioxide as “greenhouse gases.”
  • Some experts argue this legally authorizes the EPA to regulate greenhouse gases and encourage adopting renewable energy, while others were not so sure.
  • “There’s no definition there, it’s just sort of in a list, and it’s casually mentioned,” former Trump EPA transition team member Steve Milloy told the Daily Caller News Foundation said. “There’s no section that says carbon dioxide is an air pollutant under the Clean Air Act.”

Judge orders unsealing of redacted affidavit in Trump search

A judge on Thursday ordered the Justice Department to make public a redacted version of the affidavit it relied on when federal agents searched the Florida estate of former President Donald Trump to look for classified documents.

The directive from U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart came hours after federal law enforcement officials submitted under seal the portions of the affidavit that they want to keep secret as their investigation moves forward. The judge set a deadline of noon Friday for a redacted, or blacked-out, version of the document.

FBI: Trust Us, We Swear We Got It Right This Time!

Five summers ago in August 2017, FBI counterintelligence agents were still working the last of four ill-gotten FISA spy warrants used to investigate former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Then, earlier this month, the FBI counterintelligence team executed a search warrant on the Mar-a-Lago home of former President Trump. The latest of many terrific reports from Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations raises the possibility that many of the same agents were involved in both investigations.

Despite illegally using of one of the most intrusive surveillance weapons in their toolbox for a year, the Bureau discovered no wrongdoing by Page, who held onto his presumption of innocence throughout the ordeal. It’s now fair to say the FBI and the media managed the clumsy and legally needless trick of proving Page innocent after stomping on his civil liberties, putting his life under a microscope, and yet still finding nothing.

Eating less meat could help Canada achieve its climate goals

Canadians could help the country meet its climate targets by cutting their meat and dairy consumption in half by 2050, a new report suggests.

Canada’s goal is to reduce planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions to at least 40 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. While the Liberal government has outlined how it plans to achieve this in its 2030 emissions reduction plan, an assessment from the Canadian Climate Institute found the plan still puts Canada short of its goal by nine megatonnes.

Raise your hand if you had white boards being racist on your 2022 bingo card. Nope, me neither, but bizzaro world strikes again.

Everything is racist these days. I mean, everything that has to do with people of color. Apparently, you can’t be racist against white people; white privilege and all.

Trudeau Hiring “Climate Police” As Canada Moves To Neo-Dictatorship

According to a Federal government website, Environment and Climate Change Canada “informs Canadians about protecting and conserving our natural heritage, and ensuring a clean, safe and sustainable environment for present and future generations.”

Sounds innocuous enough. Too bad it isn’t. In what appears to be a paean to George Orwell’s “1984,” the federal Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is building a new facility in Winnipeg that will “be home to a firearms armoury, interrogation rooms, biological labs, media relations offices, “controlled quiet rooms,” and intelligence facilities.”

“We urge the Canadian side to abide by the one-China principle and respect China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Chinese embassy in Canada said in a statement sent late Tuesday.

“China will take resolute and forceful measures against any country that attempts to interfere with or infringe upon China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Chinese embassy said.

The Legacy Media Smear Campaign Begins

What is the bigger story?

The Liberal government using our taxpayer dollars to hire a vicious anti-Semite to lecture our country about ‘racism’ and help shape their censorship policy for state media?

Or Pierre Poilievre shaking someone’s hand at an event in which he shook hundreds of hands?

It’s not a tough question, and all common-sense Canadians know the answer.

Unfortunately, that same common sense is absent among much of our legacy media.

Canada’s Invasive Travel App Doesn’t Control Covid — It Controls You

U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., wrote a letter last week calling on the Canadian government to scrap its controversial ArriveCan app for anyone seeking to enter the country, referring to the mandate as a “misguided burden” on travelers.

ArriveCan ostensibly screens incoming travelers for Covid-19 while enabling the federal government to collect a wealth of electronic data, personal information, and medical records, including someone’s vaccination status. Refusing to use the app while traveling to Canada can result in significant fines and even mandatory quarantine.

Jesse Watters Unveils ‘My Son Hunter’ 30 Second Teaser Trailer with Director Robert Davi

Fox News host Jesse Watters unveiled the 30-second teaser trailer on Tuesday’s episode of Jesse Watters Primetime for the upcoming movie My Son Hunter, with director Robert Davi (Licensed to Kill, Die Hard, The Goonies). The teaser trailer shows a rapid-fire montage of the Biden family’s international web of political corruption, including Hunter Biden (Laurence Fox) being told he’s a “good boy” by his father, Joe Biden (John James), the elder Biden sniffing the hair of actress Gina Carano, who plays a Secret Service agent. We also see Ukrainian thugs, Chinese Communist Party agents, and a Biden-connected crony running from the FBI.

Biden Marks Ukraine Independence Day With New $3 BILLION Package

On August 24, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced approximately $3 billion in additional security assistance for Ukraine under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).

This USAI package, which is being announced on Ukraine Independence Day, underscores the U.S. commitment to supporting Ukraine over the long term – representing a multi-year investments to build the enduring strength of Ukraine’s Armed Forces as it continues to defend its sovereignty in the face of Russian aggression. Unlike Presidential Drawdown (PDA), which DoD has continued to leverage to deliver equipment to Ukraine from DoD stocks at a historic pace, USAI is an authority under which the United States procures capabilities from industry. This announcement represents the beginning of a contracting process to provide additional priority capabilities to Ukraine in the mid- and long-term to ensure Ukraine can continue to defend itself as an independent, sovereign and prosperous state. It is the biggest tranche of security assistance for Ukraine to date.

Are We Headed for a Civil War?

A vibrant, free and democratic nation thrives with differences of opinion. But there is a difference between differences of opinion on specific issues of policy and fracturing of discourse because of absence of common ground of values and principles.

For a nation to function, there must be some common denominator of shared values and principles.

This common denominator of shared values and principles is dangerously eroding today, and animosities are sharpening and deepening.

No, we’re in the middle of a coup.

Trump-appointed judge will handle request for ‘special master’ instead of Reinhart

Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who approved the initial warrant the FBI used to search Donald Trump’s Florida home, will not handle the former president’s request to appoint a “special master” in the case.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, will decide the issue. Cannon was confirmed by the Senate in 2020 in a 56-21 vote, according to the Epoch Times. Cannon has already made one ruling in the case, declining to allow filings from two of Trump’s attorneys for not following the rules that apply to lawyers not yet certified in the district.

5 Government Agencies With Guns

Conspiracy theories sometimes have at least a thread of truth in them, which is what makes them valid to some on the far right.

One of those theories is that the federal government is not on their side. Concern has been raised in conservative circles about the hiring of 87,000 new IRS agents as just one example. Trust in the IRS has been in decline for many years, ever since President Richard Nixon used the government as a weapon against his political enemies and Lois Lerner during the Obama administration denied tax-exempt status to many conservative political and religious organizations.

Liberal Overspending And Radical Climate Policies Are Making Canadians Poorer

As the consequences of Liberal policies and Bank of Canada enabling continue to be felt, many are wondering why so many Canadians supported those policies in the past.

Well, aside from the dishonesty of the Liberals and the establishment media boosting the Liberal narrative, another key reason is that people thought “somebody else” would pay for it.

‘Widen The Racial Wealth Gap’: Economist Breaks Down Effects Of Biden’s Student Loan Scheme

“The issue is debt cancellation might reduce the racial wealth gap between two rich doctors, a rich black doctor and rich white doctor, but it actually widens the racial wealth gap overall, because disproportionately the people who hold student debt that went to college are white, and the 87% of Americans that didn’t go to college are disproportionately people of color,” Marc Goldwein, who also serves a senior policy director for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, told CNN host Poppy Harlow.
