This is our moment to decide where our country goes from here. This is our time to choose. And this platform is our path ahead for generations to come.

An Al Jazeera reporter, spoke with Taliban fighters after they entered the formerly American side of Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA), and posted a video of the event to various social media networks, said that the Taliban fighters expected the U.S. to leave their equipment in full working order, though it is not clear whether the U.S. made any such promises.
Now we’re going to have to send repair parts and mechanics. Think I’m kidding? Watch. The Taliban and the USA will be ‘allies’ within a month.

Conservative and NDP parties both enter the fray with 46 candidates each. While Sikh and Muslim candidates remain fairly consistent, it is Canada’s Black communities which have taken a leap forward. A significant change is noted in the number of candidates of African origin.

Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal of the United States military and civilians along with Afghan allies has led to many calling for his resignation.
But one supposed “Trump supporter” and conservative is gushing over Joe Biden and praising him for his handling of the Afghanistan crisis.

The Liberal Party of Canada is promising to oppose the mistreatment of journalists along with another $400-million for the CBC in their new platform, released this morning.

“Nearly everyone dying of the virus now is unvaccinated.”
That has been the trope of anyone who has a platform or a modicum of power in America the past few months. And indeed, that is what we would expect from a vaccine that is as effective as the ones our government has traditionally endorsed. The problem is that a new CDC analysis, when coupled with Israel’s experience of waning immunity, demonstrates that this statement is already untrue and will only become more obvious in the coming weeks.

The rapid spiral of political collapse, military capitulation, insecurity, terrorist attacks, international exodus and chaos in Afghanistan have been staggering. Unsurprisingly, it comes up daily on the election trail, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his ministers fend off criticism about Canada’s response, particularly regarding the many Canadians and those with close Canadian connections still trapped in the country.

Throughout the tragicomedy that has been the first year of the Biden Administration, there has been no shortage of reasons for outrage. The reasons stem from a broad array of issues—the border, Afghanistan, energy policy, and inflation, to name a few—but there is a common denominator to all of them. It is this administration’s thinly veiled contempt for the American people, the very people it swore to represent and protect. A clear example of this can be found in the current refugee policy.
It should be noted that the American people are incredibly fair and generous, maybe the fairest and most generous people on the planet. We regularly step up to help others in need around the world, no matter their race, religion, or affiliation. What we cannot abide is a double standard of treatment for one group over another, yet the Biden Administration seems to be giving us the short end of a double standard on a routine basis.

The moment every politician lives for is to be the object of an unfair personal attack. If possible, it should be vicious; ideally, it will involve his family.

The World Health Organization is monitoring a new coronavirus variant called “mu,” which the agency says has mutations that have the potential to evade immunity provided by a previous Covid-19 infection or vaccination.

Quebecers will now have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to gain access to certain non-essential services, including bars, restaurants and some sports.

“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week,” posted Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) on Tuesday. “Don’t you think our military deserves better?”
