Beware of Dems’ Proposed Domestic Terrorism Law

Top congressional Democrats including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are pushing new laws to stamp out “domestic terrorism.” But they’re targeting only right-wing organizations. If rioters are looting and setting fires for a leftist cause, that’s OK.

Medical experts now claim COVID herd immunity is ‘off the table,’ citing ‘independent-thinking’ Americans

“[Herd immunity is] theoretically possible but we as a society have rejected that,” Poland told USA Today. “There is no eradication at this point, it’s off the table. The only thing we can talk about is control.

“What has surprised me most is the incomprehensible rejection of science even among otherwise intelligent people,” Poland added. “I’m truly flabbergasted to be watching this on a grand scale.”

Maybe the “experts” shouldn’t have lied to us every step of the way.

The Perils of “COVID Zero” Policies

The backlash from citizens and police to the Ontario government’s expansion of police powers was swift. True North contributor Anthony Furey said on The Andrew Lawton Show Ontarians were, in part, rejecting the “COVID Zero” mindset adopted by a number of governments, which gravitates towards extreme policies to get cases to zero rather than measured and risk-based approaches.

Greta Thunberg: “Today, up to 75 of diseases come from animals. As we are cutting down forests and destroying habitats, we are creating the ideal conditions for diseases to spill over from one animal to another and then to us.” – “We can no longer separate the health crisis from the ecological crisis. And we cannot separate the ecological crisis from the climate crisis. It’s all interlinked in many ways.”

Much to Forgive

“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul,” Nelson Mandela famously said, “than the way in which it treats its children.” By that standard, our society now has the soul of an abusive parent. The pandemic has turned American adults, or at least the ones who make the rules, into selfish neurotics who have been punishing innocent children for over a year—and still can’t restrain themselves.

Policing the Police State

Every single Ontario municipal police force told the provincial government they would not be conducting random stops of citizens to enforce the province’s stay-at-home order, forcing the province to walk back its directive to police. Yet even so, the government didn’t apologize for throwing civil liberties out the window, True North’s Andrew Lawton says.

Climate lockdowns have arrived: France to ban domestic flights where trains are available, in move to cut emissions

France is set to ban short domestic flights in favor of train services, after lawmakers approved a plan that will see several air routes discontinued to reduce emissions. MPs voted late on Saturday to some suspend some flights by domestic airlines that can be made by train in less than two-and-a-half hours, as part of a wider climate bill. If the bill passes through France’s upper house, the Senate, France will join a number of European countries seeking to move away from short flights.
