Immigration minister plans reforms to asylum system to stop it being ‘gamed’

Federal Immigration Minister Marc Miller says he’s eyeing changes to Canada’s asylum system “that could potentially address” people who take advantage of the Safe Third Country Agreement.

Under the revised deal, Canada and the United States can turn away people who cross from one country into another through unofficial points of entry and try to claim asylum within 14 days. Until early 2023, the agreement only applied to official points of entry and did not include a 14-day rule.

Immigration lawyers and refugee advocates say the change has forced people to make more dangerous choices, like rely on human smugglers to bring them across the border in undetected ways, and to remain hidden until two weeks pass in order to make an asylum claim.

The Germans flocking to Paraguay to escape immigrants at home

Two foreigners are sipping cappuccinos on a Saturday morning in a bustling restaurant in Asuncion, sharing notes on what made them decide to come to Paraguay. “You can really forget about the rest of the world here,” says one, Paul Kittson, an Australian entrepreneur. He is not the first to have come to that conclusion.

For much of the past two centuries this sweltering, landlocked country in the heart of South America has been the destination of choice for those who wanted to get away from it all. Some were utopians: such as the group of socialists from Sydney who set up a colony they called “New Australia” in the 1890s.

Others were escapees, including the Nazis who hid in southern Paraguay in the late 1940s. Still more were isolationists, like the Mennonites from Russia and Germany who came in the 1920s to preserve their traditional way of life, far from modern threats.

Any objective adult with a fair amount of rational ability and common sense can clearly see the Democrats’ grand plan behind the Biden-Harris border crisis: import as many illegal aliens as they can get away with, naturalize as many as possible as soon as possible, which would give them to vote, and, voilà: a majority of them become new Democrat voters — for the foreseeable future, anyway.

That said, an unknown number of illegals have already been voting.

In one such case, the Justice Department recently announced that an alien has agreed to plead guilty to several charges of stealing a U.S. citizen’s identity, and illegally voting in multiple elections, including primaries and general elections, in addition to illegally obtaining a passport.

Biden Regime Beginning Program To Give Amnesty-Lite To Illegal Aliens

The Biden Regime has announced another amnesty program for illegal aliens; likely this is the start of a full amnesty for all illegal aliens. This new amnesty involves issuing an identification card, first to all illegal aliens currently in removal proceedings, but the intent is clear that eventually all illegal aliens will be issued this amnesty-lite card. The program appears to be based on the Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA), amnesty where a subset of illegal aliens was just given an amnesty-lite status: employment authorization, protection from deportation, ability to travel on commercial aircraft, and the ability to access all the breeder government documents necessary to remain in the United States equivalent to being a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR). The only thing missing will be a real legal status in the United States. Like DACA, the plan is to make it a fait accompli, and dare the Republicans to end the program after the mid-term elections. Under DACA, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) used the vehicle of Form I-765, Employment Authorization Document (EAD), as the basis for the amnesty. As with Form I-765, an alien receives authorization to work, and de facto welfare, access to commercial aviation, state driver’s licenses, Social Security cards, and other government benefits. It is the functional equivalent of a green card.

There’s yet another major twist and development in the case of the 10-year-old Ohio girl who was allegedly raped by alleged illegal alien Gerson Fuentes, and thereafter got an abortion in Indiana.

We already reported that the mother told a Telemundo reporter that her daughter was fine, and claimed that everything people were saying about Fuentes was untrue.

Now, Telemundo is reportedly confirming that the mother was involved in a domestic relationship with Fuentes.
