Saskatchewan government apologizes for photo of same-sex couple on World AIDS Day

The Saskatchewan government is apologizing for using a photo of two men to promote World AIDS Day.

The government posted the picture showing the men standing side by side with their heads touching on social media on Tuesday.

An accompanying message said HIV infections were on the rise in Saskatchewan and encouraged people to get tested.

Social media users condemned the government’s use of a same-sex couple to talk about HIV as perpetuating the myth of AIDS being a “gay disease.”

Democratic members of the “Squad” in the House of Representatives slammed former President Barack Obama for coming out against the “defund the police” slogan in an interview that aired partially Tuesday night.

Opinion: How does the left not realize that Trump is using the playbook they wrote?

With few exceptions, every time I see a clip from CNN, I become convinced that one of the top qualifications for working at the network has to be a psychological incapacity for any self-awareness whatsoever.

Why Canada must confront the rise of digital authoritarianism

Authoritarian governments around the world are using emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to expand their reach and undermine human rights. The term “digital authoritarianism” has unfortunately now entered our lexicon.

In a recent policy brief, “Exporting digital authoritarianism: The Russian and Chinese models,” Alina Polyakova and Chris Meserole of the Brookings Institution define digital authoritarianism as “the use of digital information technology by authoritarian regimes to surveil, repress, and manipulate domestic and foreign populations.”

Rebel News reporter, Keean Bexte, has been flying across Canada to locate federal government coronavirus quarantine facilities.

We know they exist. The federal government published a Request For Information (RFI) on the government procurement website asking for details and interest from the private sector about setting up the facilities.

Bexte found one such camp in Manitoba. The Manitoba Métis Nation that owns the site say they haven’t yet contracted with the federal government, but they are ready to use the site when called upon.

“We recognize it is very much a balance between introducing more ventilation at various times during the day and maintaining a comfortable indoor air temperature in (the) classroom,” the TDSB wrote.

Blagojevich Advises on Contesting the Stolen Election: “I Know How They Operate”

Blagojevich believes the recent election was crooked and admitted on TV earlier this month that vote fraud is a “time-honored” Democrat tradition. Some dismiss this citing his criminal past, but ignored is that there’s no shortage of non-felon Democrats who’ve made the same admission.

“There’s better things we can do with our money” than have police SWARM Adamson BBQ

This past week, Adamson Barbecue became a role model for anti-lockdown freedom fighters everywhere.

After repeated refusals to close the business down, authorities sealed the door, forcing owner Adam Skelly to make his way inside the restaurant and bust it open.

Police didn’t take kindly to the civil disobedience, and barged their way in, knocking several, including Rebel reporter David Menzies, to the ground in their rush to arrest Skelly and make an example out of him.
