How social-justice activists revived anti-Semitism

In Western, leftish circles, Israel is now treated as a uniquely wicked nation. We’re told it is a racist, colonialist, ‘apartheid state’, despite ample evidence to the contrary. Social-justice activists treat this imperfect Middle Eastern democracy with infinitely more contempt than they do brutal dictatorships elsewhere in the region. Meanwhile, anti-Zionism has become all but indistinguishable from anti-Semitism, as ancient prejudices are expressed through a new woke language and cloaked in a phoney anti-imperialism.

Princeton Course Claims That IDF ‘Harvests the Organs of Palestinians’

Jasbir Puar – Queer Theorist and Jew Hater

At Princeton, this fall, for the first time, a course is to be given on “Decolonizing Trauma Studies” — the trauma in question resulting from the horrors visited on the Global South by the mean old settler-colonizers of the Global North, still run by a cabal of cis-gendered white males spouting their hegemonic discourse and bell-curvical racism.

Laith Marouf’s Federal Grant Application Raised ‘No Flags’ Because His Wife Submitted Paperwork: Briefing Note

Justin and fellow racist Laith Marouf

An application for over $133,000 in federal funding by Laith Marouf, who openly posted antisemitic remarks online, raised “no flags” within the Department of Canadian Heritage because his wife submitted the paperwork for the grant, according to an internal briefing note.

“The project was assessed which included an assessment of the public profile of the organization, the organization’s track record, the external environment and the financials,” said the Heritage Canada briefing note obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

Israeli filmmaker ejected from Roger Waters concert in London after waving Israeli flag

Eyewitnesses says that spectators who had Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) flags in their possession were not removed.

Israeli filmmaker Guilhad Emilio Schenker was detained, interrogated by security and ejected from a Roger Waters concert in London after waving an Israeli flag, the Mako website reported on Friday.

Video posted to social media shows Schenker waving the flag in front of Waters as the former Pink Lloyd frontman stands on stage in a uniform resembling that of a Nazi officer.

The many delusions of Roger Waters

He has turned antisemitism into entertainment

Roger Waters presents Corbynism the Musical, and, unlike its source material, it is still going. On the 81st night of his tour, This is Not a Drill, there are two demonstrations outside the O2 arena. The first is to Free Julian Assange. A small group holds a cardboard cut-out of Assange (the real Assange is in Belmarsh), here to thank Rogers for his support. The second waves Israeli flags and shouts, “Roger’s a Racist!” and it is better attended, mostly by hecklers. And why not? It has more drama: as Rogers will say later, “It’s theatre, darling!”

From CUNY to the Pandemic, Systemic Anti-Semitism is the Real Problem

In May, the Biden administration released its National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism which promoted a definition of antisemitism written by an anti-Israel activist who had defended Islamic terrorism against Jews. The administration partnered with CAIR, refused to acknowledge Islamic antisemitism, or address the worst cases of campus antisemitism at the government’s public universities like the University of California and City University of New York.

Biden Flummoxed by Challenge of Antisemitism From His Party’s Left

May is Jewish American Heritage Month, and President Biden is in a pickle. Call it a kosher dill.

Mr. Biden has acknowledged that “antisemitic incidents are at a record high.” Describing physical assaults on Jewish Americans and harassment of Jewish students, Mr. Biden observed, “It’s unconscionable. It’s almost unbelievable. It’s despicable.” He calls antisemitism today “a stain on the soul of America.”

Mr. Biden is describing America during his own administration. He is describing crimes committed under his watch. The question is: What will he do about it?

The weaponization of antisemitism against conservatives

A conference held in London this week was subjected to an extraordinary onslaught on social and mainstream media from people who weaponized antisemitism against it.

The conference was on National Conservatism, a concept developed by the Israeli-American philosopher and political theorist Yoram Hazony. Through his key insight that attachment to the nation is a core component of conservatism, he has launched an attempt to reclaim for the West authentically conservative principles that have become muddled and uncertain.

As a result of this confusion, conservatism is failing to protect the Western nation-state against the progressive ideologies that threaten to destroy its culture.

Berlin: Two Antisemitic Attacks Per Day in 2022

Newly published figures from the Research and Information Center on Antisemitism (RIAS) in Berlin have revealed that in Germany’s capital city, which percentage-wise hosts one of the largest Muslim populations of any major European capital, more than two antisemitic attacks per day were recorded in 2022.

In its report titled “Antisemitic Incidents in Berlin in 2022,” published on Wednesday, May 10th, RIAS Berlin, which kept track of all antisemitic incidents across all districts, social classes, and political orientations, recorded 848 anti-Jewish incidents of physical and verbal nature, a total which amounts to 2.3 incidents per day, the daily Berliner Zeitung reports.

One incident of extreme violence, 21 assaults, 31 targeted property damage, 24 threats, and 751 incidents of abusive behavior involving, among other things, 36 gatherings and 20 mass mailings were among the 848 antisemitic incidents that were recorded last year, the organization states in its report.

Islamist antisemitism is flying under the Jewish communal radar

When far-right extremists attacked synagogues in Pittsburgh in 2018 and Poway, Calif., in 2019 with deadly results, these incidents generated the kind of fear among American Jews that had not been felt in living memory. Communities were galvanized into action to better protect Jewish institutions. More than that, these acts of domestic terrorism served to create a sense of genuine alarm about Jewish security in the United States that was felt even among people who rarely, if ever, walked into a house of worship.

But more than a year after another synagogue was attacked in Colleyville, Texas, in January 2022, the very different reaction to that crime is still worth thinking about.

Anti-semitism being mainstreamed? You don’t say! How could the Islamist-Liberal Left alliance possibly be a revelation to anyone not living under a rock?

Ontario NDP goes full Orwell after anti-semitic MPP they were warned about does something anti-semitic

Ontario NDP distances itself from newly elected MPP’s Twitter repost about Palestinian hunger striker

Jason Wager, a spokesman for the NDP, said Wednesday that neither the party nor Ms. Jama endorse the tweet.

“Last night, the MPP for Hamilton Centre retweeted a tweet by an American academic Noura Erakat concerning the death of Khader Adnan and later un-retweeted it. The content of the tweet does not reflect the views of Ms. Jama or the Ontario NDP,” he said.

Orwellian or what?
