Barbara Kay: The case for an ‘open’ category to welcome trans athletes in sports

Danika Schroeter – Hero

In 2006, Canadian downhill mountain bike racer Danika Schroeter found out the hard way what happens to female athletes when they protest against unfair policies in sports.

Standing on the podium following a race won by transgender biker Michelle Dumaresq — Canadian women’s champion in 2003, 2004 and 2006, amongst other triumphs — Schroeter received her silver medal in silence, but everyone present could see the Sharpie-drawn message on her t-shirt: “100% Pure Woman CHAMP 2006.”

Rex Murphy: The not-so-magical erasure of J.K. Rowling

Imagine if you were a young woman, with a child, living on your own in hard circumstances — small income, very poor housing. You’d feel pretty bleak.

You’re living, or rather just getting by, in England, on the bottom end of the economic scale, with no influential family or social contacts. Kind of a Dickensian scenario. You’ve gone through a very turbulent time personally, are without employment, and depressed over what seems an inevitably rocky future.

Lutheran church offers drag queen prayer time to children

A preacher dressed in drag led a sermon for children on Sunday in Chicago.

Aaron Musser, the preacher at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square, said that instead of telling people how they should be joyful, he was showing them what makes him joyful, arguing his attire served as a dress rehearsal for the ultimate joy experienced upon the return of Jesus Christ.

Satan isn’t smiling, he’s ROFL.

L.A. Schools Host LGBT Club For 4-Year-Olds, Promote ‘Two Spirit’ Sexuality And Child Mutilation

The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Office of Human Relations, Equity and Diversity hosted a 10-week online club for LGBT elementary schoolers, down to four-year-olds. The club was called “Rainbow Club,” and met once a week for 10 weeks. It was advertised to students from preschool to fifth grade as a “virtual club for LGBTQ+ elementary school students, their friends, and their grown-ups.”(“TK” stands for transitional kindergarten, for children who are four years old, or preschool age.)

‘I Involved The Police’: Mom Says She ‘Went Nuclear’ ‘Rescuing’ Daughter From ‘Transgender Fantasy’

A California mother writing under a pen name said she “went nuclear” to save her daughter from a “transgender fantasy” that left the teen contemplating suicide.

Charlie Jacobs penned an op-ed published Monday in The Daily Signal “warning” other parents of “gender dysphoria,” which  the American Psychiatric Association defines  as the emotional “distress that results from an incongruence between one’s sex assigned at birth and one’s gender identity.”

Defending Pedophilia Is The Logical Conclusion Of Queer Theory

Allyn Walker, a former professor at Old Dominion University who identifies as non-binary, resigned last month following criticism stemming from Walker’s views on pedophilia. Walker argued that pedophiles should be destigmatized by identifying them as “minor-attracted persons” (“MAPs”) rather than the pejorative term “pedophile,” because attraction to children is a sexual orientation and not immoral.

‘Absurdity’ of police logging rapists as women

Police have been criticised for saying they will record rapes by offenders with male genitalia as being committed by a woman if the attacker “identifies as a female”.

Police Scotland said that they would log rapes as being carried out by a woman if the accused person insists, even if they have not legally changed gender.

The bearded 6ft reporter who was told he can use the female changing rooms

High street retailers are allowing men to use their female changing rooms – so long as they say they identify as women.

An investigation by The Mail on Sunday has found that shops, including luxury retailers, will welcome men into traditional female spaces if they do so.

A 6ft-tall male reporter with a beard, who said he identified as woman, was given permission to use fitting rooms in the female sections of stores including Selfridges, Matalan, Uniqlo and even the lingerie brand Agent Provocateur’s concession in Harrods.

Transgenderism: It’s time to state the obvious

Dr. Rachel Levine was appointed by President Joe Biden in October as a four-star admiral, the highest-ranking official in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Dr. Levine also serves as the HHS Assistant Secretary for Health. Levine’s background is as a pediatrician. In a rich bit of irony, not only is Levine the first transgender person to serve in the uniformed health service as a four-star senior officer but is also the first “woman” to serve in that capacity.

Until age 53, Rachel Levine lived life as a man. Richard Levine was born with all-male parts and with male chromosomes. In 2011 however, he decided he was a she. A divorce followed, but so did Levine’s public fortunes. Levine served in public health positions in Pennsylvania for several years to mixed reviews.

Actual Female Swimmer at UPenn Says Team’s Support for Transgender Swimmer Is ‘Fake’

The authoritarian Left demands absolute conformity to its beliefs, no matter how absurd they are, and harshly punishes those who dare to step out of line. And so, everyone who sees transgender UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas smashing records that were set by human beings who were actually born female is supposed to applaud happily and exclaim, “You go, girl!”

Trans UPenn swimmer says competing on women’s team is ‘fair’ – complains about muscle and strength loss due to hormone treatments

University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas broke her silence Thursday amid widespread outrage over her smashing women’s swim records, praising the controversial IOC rules for transgender athletes and noted her muscle and strength loss while saying she’s ‘nowhere close’ to her pre-transition speeds – which would shatter female world records.

The transgender swimmer gave a 26-minute interview to SwimSwam, which covers college and Olympic swimming news, praising the fairness of the controversial IOC guidelines on inclusivity and saying they keep ‘competitional integrity going.’

Thomas – who competed as a man on the UPenn team for three years before she transitioned, now competing on the women’s team – continues to dominate in the pool, setting three school and two Ivy League records over the weekend at a meet. But her success has fanned the flames of an ongoing debate and upset some of her fellow UPenn teammates.

Why I’m celebrating news that a man is breaking women’s swimming records

Will Thomas is a strapping 22-year-old man who swam competitively at the University of Pennsylvania for three years. This year, though, Will announced that he’s a woman named “Lia” and, thanks to Biden’s executive orders regarding so-called “gender identity,” got a place on UPenn’s women’s swim team where, to no one’s surprise, he swam faster than the women. Frankly, I think it’s wonderful. That’s not because I’ve gone woke; it’s because this is so blatantly unfair to women, and Will is so obviously a man, that Americans are finally saying that the emperor is wearing the wrong dress.

Joining drag queens on TV show costs Indiana pastor his job

The Reverend in question.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Rev. Craig Duke has been a Methodist minister for three decades, building a reputation as a staunch advocate of LGBTQ inclusion. His pastoral duties have now been terminated — the result of a bitter rift surfacing in his Indiana church after he sought to demonstrate solidarity by appearing in drag alongside prominent drag queens in the HBO reality series “We’re Here.”
