‘We’re Going To Destroy This System’: City Where A Black Man Was Fatally Shot Put Under State Of Emergency

Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten II said on Saturday he would file a motion in court as early as Monday to ask a local judge to release the video.

“Only a judge can release the video. That’s why I’ve asked the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation to confirm for me that the releasing of the video will not undermine their investigation,” Wooten said. “Once I get that confirmation, our county will file a motion in court, hopefully, Monday, to have the footage released.”

What the Media Didn’t Tell You about the Chauvin Case

George Floyd should not have died, but the case does not stand as a totem of systemic racism either. Here are the facts.

If you did not watch the Derek Chauvin trial, but only heard the inflammatory comments spewing out of the White House and the media-Democrat complex, there are things about it you would never know. And you’d be apt to believe the claims that American law enforcement is systemically racist. I watched the trial day in and day out, so let me cut you in on a few basic facts.

Florida Rep. Val Demings (D) on Sunday said she thought the officer who fatally shot Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio “responded as he was trained to do,” based on the information she has seen so far.

Demings told host John Dickerson on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that when she was police chief in Orlando, Florida, she prayed that her officers would respond as they are trained to do. She said Bryant’s death was a “sad moment” for her, noting she had previously worked with foster children like Bryant as a social worker.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid defends Ma’Khia Bryant and says she must have been ‘scared’ when she lunged at another girl with a knife

…During her broadcast of ‘The ReidOut’ on MSNBC on Thursday, Joy made an argument defending Bryant’s actions before the shooting.

‘We don’t know the details of what happened beforehand but I’m bothered that no one is asking what could’ve scared a 16-year-old girl enough that she felt that she had to grab a kitchen knife facing two adult women,’ Reid said.

‘No one’s asking what would’ve scared a kid who’s in a foster situation so much that she felt that she needed to defend herself or pick up a knife,’ she added.

My First Knife Fight? Leftists call knifings kid stuff after Columbus cop saved a teen from a stabbing

My First Knife Fight? Leftists call knifings kid stuff after Columbus cop saved a teen from a stabbing

The far left has been mouthing so many phony, untrue things about crime and punishment in the U.S. that some of its unhinged denizens can no longer recognize reality.

That would likely explain why one Black Lives Matter activist, Bree Newsome, found herself the subject of ridicule on Twitter and beyond for jumping the shark on the subject of stabbings, which is the topic of the day regarding a police intervention in Columbus, Ohio, where an officer shot a 16 year-old in the act of stabbing another girl. Newsome’s twisted herself into a pretzel over the incident to whip up the narrative that cops are evil and knife stabbings are everyday occurrences, effectively declaring the vicious near-disemboweling of a teenager in pink jammed up against the hood of a car at the hands of another teen, Ma’Khia Bryant, a sort of rite of passage for Black people. And after a torrent of ridicule, she won’t stop digging.
