One of the British Army’s most famous victories, now the Queen’s Rorke’s Drift painting gets a ‘colonial violence’ warning

A royal painting of the Battle of Rorke’s Drift has had its description updated to acknowledge its links to imperialism.

It is among 62 works in the Royal Collection to be amended in the wake of the Black Lives Matter campaign.

Part of the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879, Rorke’s Drift saw 141 British soldiers defend a field hospital against an attack from 4,000 warriors.

Children were “beaten with whips,” “forced to sleep on the floor,” and “drink urine.”

It was a cold December day in Washington D.C. and Neal Katyal, Obama’s Solicitor General, was arguing with Justice Clarence Thomas, the great-grandson of a freed slave, about slavery.

Katyal was representing Nestle, the American subsidiary of a Swiss multinational, being sued by freed African child slaves for profiting from slavery, and Justice Thomas wasn’t having it. The two men, the consummate Democrat legal operative, who had been there for Bush v. Gore and defended ObamaCare before the Supreme Court, and the court’s only black justice descended from slaves, debated corporate liability for child slavery for a social justice company.

Florida high school football game descends into a brawl after one side ran onto the field with a Blue Lives Matter flag and the other took a knee during the national anthem

A high school football team in Florida has been fined $500 and had 10 of its players suspended after a wild brawl broke out at the end of a crunch game, with helmets being thrown, punches flying and parents jumping the fence from the sidelines and running to join in the altercation.

The state’s High School Athletic Association announced their findings and penalties on Thursday, after the November 27 game.

Black Lives Matter is facing a rebellion within its own ranks as regional affiliates seek greater control over the movement and demand answers about where millions of dollars in donations have gone.

After years of tensions between the national organization and local outlets, the rift went public this week with the release of a statement by 10 BLM chapters accusing the top brass at the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation of failing to open their books or share the wealth with the rank and file.

Leader of black-only NFAC militia ‘Grandmaster Jay’ arrested and faces 20 years in prison on federal charges

John Fitzgerald Johnson, better known as ‘Grandmaster Jay,’ was arrested and charged with pointing a rifle at federal agents and Louisville, Kentucky police during a protest, which could land him in prison for 20 years.

Johnson was arrested on Thursday and booked into a Louisville jail on federal charges, NBC affiliate WAVE-TV reported. Independent journalist Ford Fischer posted photos of the charging documents.

The majority of UK adults believe that recent anti-racism Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests actually deepened the nation’s racial divisions and increased tensions, a newly released poll has revealed.

Some 55 percent of Britons think that the BLM wave of anti-racist demonstrations backfired and exacerbated racial tensions, a newly released poll conducted in October by Opinium found, based on a survey of more than 2,000 people.
