Don Lemon has ‘zero defenders’ left at CNN: source

Embattled CNN anchor Don Lemon has “zero defenders” left at the network source said, as it remains unclear whether he’ll be back on air Tuesday, sources told Page Six.

Lemon, 56, who has co-hosted “CNN This Morning” since its debut last November, is embroiled in a sexist scandal that’s threatening his future at the network.

“The big question is, is CNN going to keep Don off air on a day-to-day basis?” said one well-placed industry insider. “If they wanted to keep him, they would suspend him for two weeks and call it a day.”

That’s one public figure I hope to see less of. As in never again if possible.

Bitter Don Lemon isn’t sorry for sexist remarks and clearly doesn’t like women

The problem with Don Lemon is that nobody has ever told him he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

He’s handsome and works in an industry that can inflate even the most constrained egos. Clearly, the CNN anchor has no constraints. He has allowed his ego to grow bigger than a Chinese weather balloon.

We are watching in real time the inevitable process of cutting Lemon down to size.

Don Lemon past his prime…

Poppy Harlow leaves CNN set after tense exchange with Don Lemon

Don Lemon’s acidic behavior has turned the stomach of another co-anchor.

A furious Poppy Harlow walked off the “CNN This Morning” set Thursday following a tense exchange with Lemon after he said GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley was “not in her prime,” The Post has learned.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Harlow took a “well-timed” bathroom break and was followed into the restroom by co-host Kaitlan Collins — who recently had her own run-in with Lemon.

It sure looks like CNN is greasing the skids under Don Lemon, preparing to dump him

One of the unsavory aspects of our current era is that firing a member of a “protected class” — racial and sexual minorities, plus women of any race — almost inevitably leads to cries of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.  When a person is a “twofer” ticking two boxes indicating presumptively oppressed status, you need a bulletproof list of offenses to charge the target with.

Meghan Markle tops poll of celebrities people are sick of – with her husband Prince Harry in second, Oprah third, Amber Heard fourth and James Corden fifth

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded the most annoying celebs of 2022 – just weeks after the release of their splashy, multimillion-dollar Netflix special that criticized the royal family.

The couple – whose high-profile split from the royal family dominated headlines in 2020 – each snagged a spot on Ranker’s recently released ‘Celebrities You’re Sick of in 2022′, with the Duchess of Sussex leading the list of figures readers have reportedly grown weary of.

The dubious distinctions for the duo is markedly more pronounced than where they placed earlier in the year, when Markle was booked as low as the 20th spot, while her husband, faring slightly little better, was pegged at no. 23.

Why Whoopi Goldberg won’t be cancelled

This isn’t the first time she has got away with anti-Semitic remarks

Whoopi Goldberg, a two-time Oscar winner and co-host of the daytime talk show The View, ended the year much as she began it: defending her claim that the Holocaust was white-on-white violence, a clash of white ethnic groups that resulted in the deaths of millions of Jewish people in Central and Eastern Europe. Back in January, Goldberg earned a suspension from The View after arguing that “these are two white groups of people” and “everybody eats each other” during a discussion about a Tennessee school district’s decision to remove Art Spiegelman’s Holocaust-themed graphic novel Maus from its curriculum.

Whoever persuaded Bono he could sing?

Even his parents dismissed the idea, but his yowling has sold so many records that he has mistaken himself for a great rock star

There are a few pop stars whose work I can’t help liking in spite of myself – their song-writing, that is. I’d be happy never to see the faces or hear the voices of Mick Hucknall or Chris Martin again, but the moment ‘Stars’ or ‘Trouble’ starts, I’m mesmerised – only to wonder crossly the minute the song ends: ‘Why couldn’t they have given it to someone with a decent voice?’ Think about it: dancers have choreographers and actors have scriptwriters, so why should we assume songwriters can sing? Bono’s another. I love some of his songs (‘One’, as performed by Johnny Cash, and ‘Where the Streets Have No Name’, by the Pet Shop Boys), but when faced with the awful actuality of his yowling, I remember what Prince once said about him: ‘You know what I’d do with a voice like that? Become a janitor.’

Jane Fonda: Racist, Misogynistic ‘Mindsets‘ Causing Climate Crisis

Actress Jane Fonda said Friday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that racist and misogynistic “mindsets” are causing the “climate crisis.”

Anchor Ari Melber said, “I mention women’s rights because so much we know came out of some of what you were doing, where you start out at the Vietnam protest, and then it is all of the guys and all of the speakers are guys, and you start to say, wait, there is a lot more change even within the protest movement. You were part of that. What do you think about the progress made and the progress being unwound when you look at the court’s decision in Roe, which we know turned out a lot of voters in the midterms
