Biden’s Budget Priorities and the China Threat

… There is nothing [in the US budget] specifically targeting and countering the Chinese biowarfare threat and resultant global pandemic that has seized the world for nearly two years. Nothing. Instead, there is specific reference to military crisis communications – the sort Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley clearly exercised on October 20, 2020 when he told the Chinese military chief: “General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.” General Milley has yet to be indicted.

China accused of sending people to ‘quarantine camps’ ahead of Winter Olympics

China has reportedly set up brutal, eerie-looking “quarantine camps” as at least 20 million people are in restrictive lockdowns weeks ahead of the Winter Olympics.

Video posted to Twitter shows staff fully covered in white protective clothing standing near row upon row of small white cubicles lined up on the grounds of what appears to be a sports stadium.

Other footage claims to be from within one of the cell-like temporary buildings, with the occupant showing just a bare-framed bed and small, dirty-looking bathroom.

Scientists believed Covid leaked from Wuhan lab – but decided to lie about it lest the gravy train be upset

Scientists believed Covid leaked from Wuhan lab – but feared debate could hurt ‘international harmony’

Leading British and US scientists thought it was likely that Covid accidentally leaked from a laboratory but were concerned that further debate would harm science in China, emails show.

An email from Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, on February 2 2020 said that “a likely explanation” was that Covid had rapidly evolved from a Sars-like virus inside human tissue in a low-security lab.

The email, to Dr Anthony Fauci and Dr Francis Collins of the US National Institutes of Health, went on to say that such evolution may have “accidentally created a virus primed for rapid transmission between humans”.

But a leading scientist told Sir Jeremy that “further debate would do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular”. Dr Collins, the former director of the US National Institutes of Health, warned it could damage “international harmony”.

Gee Wiz! I’m old enough to remember when this was a conspiracy theory. Just like the CIA buying off journalists. “International Harmony” should be read as “Free Money from the ChiComs & Faucis etc”

Canada’s spy agency warns MPs to beware of influence operations from Communist China … and other foreign bodies like the Liberal Party

Canada’s spy agency for the first time is warning individual MPs and senators from all major parties about influence operations being carried out by China and other adversarial states.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has become increasingly alarmed about efforts by China and its agents of influence to covertly cultivate relations with elected officials to gain sway over parliamentary debates and government decision-making.

John Townsend, a spokesperson for CSIS, told The Globe and Mail agency officials are briefing parliamentarians, telling them to beware of foreign influence and interference operations.

Justin has been talkin semi-tough about China of late. This isn’t a belated awakening to the inherent evil of the ChiCom regime rather I suspect Junior was read the riot act by formerly staunch allies.

I bet ChiCom infiltration of Canada by fellow travelers and useful idiots like Trudeau is in fact far worse than we know and we are now considered a security risk. We see the greed motivated subservience to their ChiCom masters by our Captains of Industry & Academics. You can bet a lot of palms have been greased by Beijing and their proxies in Canada’s China Class.

The Movie Chinese Communists Hate the Most?

Some films are chilling because their fiction penetrates the agonizing core of reality. The soon-to-be-released Unsilenced, from award-winning Chinese-Canadian filmmaker Leon Lee, is a prime example. It brings into sharp focus the oppression unleashed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Falun Gong, a movement that emphasizes ethical conduct, qigong exercises, and meditation. Fearing that Falun Gong would overtake it in popularity, the party has since 1999 been persecuting practitioners with arrest, torture, forced labor, menticide, and execution. But an underground resistance has established itself, led by ordinary Falun Gong practitioners pushed by extraordinary circumstances into heroic acts.

Predicting 2022 – China’s Year of the Tiger

… Most likely, 2022 will finally be the wake-up call Americans need. For too long, American government and business leaders have sat quietly and allowed China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to run roughshod over our nation and our values. In 2001, politicians such as President George W. Bush welcomed China into the World Trade Organization and promised that not only would it benefit global trade, but strengthen China’s adherence to the rule of law and that China would “introduce certain civil reforms.” At this point, it is clear that things have not turned out quite that way.

I suspect the Quisling China class will have something to say about that.

Trudeau’s China Suck Up: Dominic Barton’s job appointment to be probed and quickly swept under rug by Watchdog

Watchdog asked to probe former China envoy Dominic Barton’s job appointment

The federal Ethics Commissioner has been formally asked to investigate whether Canada’s former ambassador to Beijing, Dominic Barton, violated ethics rules when he accepted an offer to become chair of Rio Tinto, a global mining company that does much of its business in China.

Two New Democratic MPs wrote to the commissioner, Mario Dion, on Friday. Their letter says they believe Mr. Barton is in breach of the Conflict of Interest Act because he met with executives of Rio Tinto shortly before the end of his time as a diplomat.

This is your Quisling China Class at work folks.

What’s a litttle slave labor between friends?

The big conglomerates use “diversity” as a distraction weapon while doing business with the most ruthless regime on earth, China.

The big German brands – banks, car manufacturers, chemical giants, electronics companies – made extensive use of forced laborers from occupied Eastern Europe and Jewish slaves from concentration camps in World War II. Siemens allegedly admitted to using at least 80,000 forced laborers who, it is said, “was seen as the only way to make up for the labor shortage” in the Hitler years.

Now Siemens CEO Roland Busch is lobbying against the European Union’s plans to impose an import ban on products made from Chinese forced labor, the Times said. This is despite his company’s mission today which says: “We have a zero tolerance approach to forced labor, slavery and human trafficking.”

ChiCom disinformation campaign against former MP Kenny Chiu a disturbing precedent, researchers say

Two researchers at McGill University say a disinformation campaign against a Conservative Party candidate during the 2021 election race is a disturbing demonstration of how propaganda tactics could be used by hostile foreign actors to interfere with Canada’s political system.

And they suggest a countermeasure to discourage future disinformation efforts would be a public registry to track foreign influence that is similar to the very mechanism that former B.C. MP Kenny Chiu was attacked during the election campaign for proposing.

ChiCom election interference against a Conservative party member, Canada not invited to join AUKUS and Huawei still not barred from 5G network development. Isn’t that interesting.

Go incognito.

MI6 chief thanks China for ‘free publicity’ after James Bond spoof

Britain’s spy chief has thanked China’s state news agency for “free publicity” after it posted a James Bond spoof that mocked the western intelligence community’s growing focus on threats posed by Beijing.

The rare response by the head of MI6, Richard Moore, on Thursday comes as China and Britain clash over Beijing’s treatment of its Uyghur minority and creeping authoritarianism in the former British colony of Hong Kong.

Moore – codenamed C within the agency – previously said adapting to China’s rise was the spy service’s “single greatest priority” and warned of Chinese “debt traps, data exposure and vulnerability to political coercion”.

Army War College suggests ‘Broken Nest’ strategy for deterring a Chinese invasion of Taiwan

“I’ve written before about China’s increasingly brazen indications that it plans to force a “reunification” with Taiwan sometime in the not-so-distant future. For its part, Taiwan is clearly worried about the possibility China could overwhelm its defenses but remains defiant. The US has been selling Taiwan arms, sending warships through the Taiwan strait  and even training Taiwanese troops. All of it raises the possibility of a real confrontation over Taiwan, one that could be extremely costly to both China and the US.

Would Taiwan agree to a scorched earth policy?
