It Sure Looks Like Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci Botched the Vaccine Roll-Out

If you were to ask the Biden administration how the roll-out of the coronavirus vaccine is going, they’d insist it’s been absolutely perfect and that only they, and not Donald Trump, deserve credit. It doesn’t matter that the development of the vaccine and the escalation of its doses has followed the exact path the former president said it would (at the time, the media “experts” insisted Trump’s projection was unlikely). Biden wants all the credit, and the media is more than happy to give it to him.

Eastern Ontario MPP Randy Hillier invokes Hitler in complaining about COVID-19 shutdown

Eastern Ontario MPP Randy Hillier invokes Hitler in complaining about COVID-19 shutdown

An elected member of the Ontario legislature has invoked one of history’s most evil, murderous dictators to complain about the provincial government’s month-long shutdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Randy Hillier, the independent MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, used social media to post a picture of Adolf Hitler looking over Nazi followers with the caption, “THE THIRD WAVE.”

Personally I believe the reaction to Hillier’s tweet is more “over the top” than the tweet itself.

Ontario reports 3,009 new Covid cases Today and 3089 cases yesterday

Let’s be honest about the state of Ontario during this pandemic

When people tell you we have to listen to the science when it comes to COVID-19, there’s an expectation that science is pure and can’t be questioned.

Of course, science is never pure and should always be questioned, including when politics are involved.

Vaccination Passports: The Cornerstone of a Totalitarian State Ushering China’s Social Credit System into America.

Vaccination passports, like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want everyone to be forced to carry, are profoundly un-American.

This data-driven authoritarianism, if it comes to pass, will wash away what remains of the rule of law and the Constitution, and annihilate the American way of life.

One of Canada’s largest nursing and retirement home chains reveals low vaccination rate among staff, asks government for help

One of Canada’s largest nursing and retirement home chains reveals low vaccination rate among staff, asks government for help

Fewer than half of all workers employed by one of Canada’s largest nursing and retirement home chains were vaccinated against COVID-19 as of last week.

Only 45 per cent of roughly 20,000 staff in Revera Inc. homes nationwide were vaccinated, according to a letter the company sent to Ontario government officials on March 29.

Full disclosure, I have booked my covid jab appointment at one of the city’s mass vaccination sites. If I find out they’re serving up AstraZeneca it’s off.

Police say they are recommending charges against a Vancouver man after a confrontation involving an anti-masker on Main Street over the weekend.

Vancouver police said a convoy of vehicles was taking part in an anti-mask rally on Saturday afternoon.

A passenger in one of the vehicles was speaking through a bullhorn addressing people on the street.

What brought that on? The attacker isn’t wearing a mask.

Randall Denley: Ford’s latest lazy lockdown plan shows he hasn’t learned from the last ones

Messages don’t come much more mixed than the ones delivered Thursday by Ontario Premier Doug Ford and his top COVID-19 advisers.

In the morning, Dr. Adalsteinn Brown, co-chair of the province’s science advisory group, presented his usual prophecy of doom. The latest COVID modelling projects sharply increasing case numbers as the deadlier, more contagious virus variants take over. Cases could go up to 6,000 a day by the end of April, maybe even 12,000 a day.

Brussels police unleash water cannon, tear gas & drones as THOUSANDS gather for April Fools’ prank turned ‘freedom rally’

A “festival” at Bois de la Cambre in Brussels began as an April Fools’ prank on social media, and ended with police using tear gas and water cannon to disperse several thousand partygoers defying the Covid-19 lockdown.

Around 5,000 mainly young people showed up at the forest park just south of Brussels on Thursday, for an event called “La Boum” (a reference to a 1980s French teen rom-com) even though it was obviously an April 1 prank.

Think Canada’s pandemic response was better than the U.S.? Think again

Think Canada’s pandemic response was better than the U.S.? Think again

When it comes to health care, Canadians only seem to care about one thing: Are we better than the United States?

As long as we “beat” the U.S., we remain smug about our performance, although this attitude can be hard to square with the tens of thousands of Canadians who get quick access to top-level care in the US each year, or the snowbirds vaccinated for COVID weeks or months ahead of their stay-at-home peers.
