The very smart and educated people of Yale have decided to quarantine all of their students for the next month due to the very scary Omicron variant of Covid-19.
For all the vaccine passports and shutdowns in provinces across the country, only Quebec has gone so far as to impose a curfew on its citizens to supposedly flatten the curve. Twice. Italy on Wednesday made COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for people from the age of 50, one of very few European countries to take a similar steps, in an attempt to ease pressure on its health service and reduce fatalities.

On Tuesday morning, The New York Times’ “Morning Newsletter” said that since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, “Americans have accepted more harm to children in exchange for less harm to adults” in a piece titled, “No Way to Grow Up.” That is, of course, a true statement. Yet that admission left many conservatives frustrated for having warned of the damage that lockdowns were doing to kids for nearly two years, only to be met with ridicule and dismissive attitudes from leftist media and politicians.

Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair made the announcement via Twitter Monday morning.
“Following our approval of Quebec’s request for federal assistance, Canadian Armed Forces personnel will begin their deployment today to provide support to the province’s vaccination campaign,” he wrote. “Our officials continue to assess what other federal resources can be utilized to help the province combat COVID-19.”
They really do think we’re stupid.
