John Ivison: Tolerating the glorification of terror and slaughter is societal suicide

Sukhdool Singh, an alleged gangster, was gunned down in Winnipeg last month, in a tit-for-tat killing between rival gangs.

Singh was wanted in India for extortion and murder, and was alleged to have links to the Khalistan Tiger Force, which has been designated a terror organization by the Indian government. He is said to have escaped to Canada on a forged passport in 2017 and India has been trying, unsuccessfully, to extradite him ever since.

Singh’s case is instructive because it is at the heart of the dispute between Canada and India. The Indians say Canada has offered a safe haven for Khalistani terrorists in return for votes from the Sikh community.

Diwali fireworks advisory issued despite warnings it might be discriminatory

OTTAWA – An Environment Canada advisory that singled out Diwali fireworks as a reason to prepare for poor air quality last October was issued despite multiple warnings from some staff about it being discriminatory.

The advisory was edited and an apology issued within hours as complaints poured in to the national weather service the morning the annual Indian festival of lights was set to begin.

Remember this Khalistani v India fireworks celebration from last year?

Brampton has since banned fireworks though I wonder if the bylaw will be respected.

At Humber College, they actually have an employee program designed to help people with the “unlearning” of their “white skin privilege” and “white supremacy.”

Senior officer pleads guilty in Toronto police promotion cheating scandal

“Thursday’s agreed statement of fact also revealed that, while examining the content of Clarke’s cellphones, investigators came across messages she’d sent to an unnamed civilian member of the service and an unnamed employee of the Toronto police board.

Those messages were “inconsistent with the service’s commitment to anti-racism,” according to the document. No further description of the messages was provided.”

She was racist on account she was fighting racism.

“Promoted in 2020, Clarke is the first Black female superintendent in Toronto police history and has talked about the importance of diversifying police ranks. Her supporters — who’ve regularly tuned in to watch the case online, a group attending in person Thursday — have questioned whether Clarke was unfairly targeted for actions possibly taken to address systemic equity issues; among the officers she provided the answers to were fellow racialized cops.

“We have been saying that, while the allegations may be true, we felt that there was more to it, and we should look at the circumstances that may have contributed to the actions,” said David Betty, president of the Jamaican Canadian Association, who watched Clarke’s plea.

I posted on this last night but Neocon pointed the way to the Star’s version of events which proved much worse.

India-Canada Clash Should Be a Wake-Up Call

For their own sake, Western nations must contend with the politics of the large and growing diaspora communities they host.

… Canada, in particular, has had a long history of tolerating supporters of militancy abroad. Even after 9/11 built pressure on all Western allies to root out supporters of terrorism, Ottawa resisted calls to clamp down on local financial support for Hezbollah.

Canadian communities also provided much of the financing for Sri Lanka’s Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam — who, famously, invented suicide bombing. A lot of that money was raised, according to human-rights activists, by intimidating Canadian citizens who still had relatives in Sri Lanka.

Now tensions have begun to flare domestically as well. Last year, violence between Hindus and Muslims broke out in the post-industrial town of Leicester, while Sikhs and Hindus clashed in the middle of downtown Melbourne in January. Two years earlier, a Hindu man who had been deported from Australia for allegedly attacking Sikhs was given a “hero’s welcome” when he returned to India.

Anger at British Telecom as top executive declares plans to cut more than 1,000 jobs in rural areas and replace them with urban diversity hires

Telecoms giant BT was last night under fire after a top executive declared that plans to cut more than 1,000 jobs in rural East Anglia while hiring new staff in major cities will boost its workforce diversity.

In comments leaked to The Mail on Sunday, Howard Watson, BT’s chief networks officer, suggested that a ‘significant factor’ in choosing where to locate major offices was the ethnic diversity of the area.

One Tory MP yesterday accused BT of ‘pandering to political correctness’ and warned it could be illegally discriminating against white staff.

It should be legal to draw and quarter such rats.

Last week, Peel district schools reportedly purged all library books written before 2008. But this incident is just one of many questionable moves made by schools across Ontario in recent years.

For example, in mid-summer 2022, the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario began distributing new lesson plans that aimed to indoctrinate children into ‘white-privilege’ ideology. The lesson plans were to be taught in primary, junior and intermediate grades across the province and were an extension of the Federation’s existing and larger ‘White Privilege project.’

Leicester: a powder keg waiting to explode

Last year’s riots revealed the folly of celebrating diversity without forging shared values.

It is one year on from the violent unrest in Leicester, which by mid-September had culminated in large-scale public disorder. This was when gangs of masked Muslim and Hindu youths fought each other on the normally quiet suburban streets of this English city.

After the unrest, there was no shortage of police activity. Around 150 people have been either arrested or interviewed under caution, and prosecutors have secured a string of weapons-related convictions.

Sask. immigration draws based primarily on European countries of origin could be ‘problematic’ says Multicult grifter

Saskatchewan’s shift to drawing immigrants from specific, mostly-European nations, could be “problematic,” according to the head of an organization that works with newcomers to the province.

On Aug. 16, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) announced six draws for 642 applicants from eight countries – seven of which are located in Europe. Typically the program’s draws have not been targeted at specific countries and only weighed a candidate’s credentials.

“We need to make sure that we are not selecting people based on who’s already here,” said Rhonda Rosenberg, Executive Director of the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan.

“I think that this is where it could be perhaps problematic. In our communities, we value everybody’s contributions and not just those who are of European heritage.”

The minute someone says “problematic” start hurling rocks.

It will be the least problematic of all approaches that’s how they designed it.

The Notting Hill Criminal Amnesty

The harsh reality of the matter is that the Notting Hill Carnival should be disbanded entirely. Or it should be marketed for what it truly is: a criminal free-for-all that law-abiding citizens should be protected from.

If you didn’t know better, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Notting Hill Carnival was a scene from a Richard Curtis film where Hugh Grant rubs shoulders with Hollywood luminaries, and it’s all a bit twee. The reality of what played out on London’s most affluent streets last weekend (as it does every year), is quite different. Begun in 1966 as an homage to the Caribbean culture that Britain imported during the Windrush years, the carnival welcomes in excess of one million visitors, and is considered the largest street event in Europe. It is also a feather in the cap of those who promote London as a global hub of successful integration.

No to the Politics of “Whiteness”

The case against right-wing racialism.

In recent years, I have devoted considerable time to exposing the radical Left’s politics of “whiteness,” which posits that white identity, culture, and power are irredeemably oppressive and must be “abolished” in favor of alternative modes of being. “Whiteness” represents the metaphysical essence of left-wing race politics: an irreducible force of evil, a master synonym for racism, oppression, inequality, and suffocating bourgeois norms; anything saturated with its properties can be automatically categorized and condemned. In practice, the politics of whiteness has translated into the demonization of European-Americans in primary school curricula, the performance of elaborate “white privilege” rituals in the workplace, and outright segregation in many public institutions. All of it is done to solve “the problem of whiteness.”

So we should appeal to the better angels of our nature for guidance and follow the natural rights theory of America’s founders.

Sounds great on paper.

The left will never buy into it.

Saskatchewan designed an immigration policy that benefits citizens and newcomers, The Star says it’s RACIST!

This Canadian province wants to pick immigrants based on their nation. Is that fair, or a ‘slippery slope’?

In a first-of-its-kind pilot project, Saskatchewan is picking skilled immigrants based on their country of residence, raising eyebrows for deviating from Canada’s selection system that has otherwise been open to all regardless of race and nationality.

In August, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program created six draws with the goal of inviting 542 skilled immigrants in dozens of occupational backgrounds to settle in the province as permanent residents.

The catch is only those who are living in one of these eight countries can qualify: Czechia, Germany, India, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Because Canada’s current policy inviting incompatible cultures who have little to no desire to integrate has worked out so well.

Just think of the ethno-religious conflicts we’d miss out on if we screened for suitability! Assassinations, riots, honor killings!

Such vibrant diversity makes us stronger.

Canadians love being treated like 2nd class citizens in their own nation and understand that immigration policy must always conform to the needs of the corporate and political class.

You gotta break a few eggs to depress wages, create housing shortages and foment a fearful balkanized society I always say.

But here’s the rub, Trudeau has turned Canada into such a shithole state that the majority of “permanent residents” no longer desire to become citizens:

In 2021, nearly 45.7 per cent of permanent residents who’d been in Canada for less than 10 years became citizens.

That’s down from 60 per cent in 2016, and 75.1 per cent in 2001.

But of course the Star finds an “expert” who argues the old system is working just fine. Fine in the sense that today’s immigrants are not the old immigrants and are more likely to use Canada only as a safe place to park their money before moving on to greener pastures.

Fine in the sense the government is so inept they lost track of a million migrants thus grossly understating the housing and infrastucture crisis.

That’s a great return on investment.

Britain has learnt nothing from the Leicester riots

Ethnic tensions could become more widespread across the country

With today marking the one-year anniversary of the beginning of the ethnically and religiously-motivated Leicester disorder, it is worth asking what we have learnt from this watershed moment in British community relations.

It was on 28 August 2022 that there was a mass brawl in the Belgrave area of Leicester following an Asia Cup cricket match between India and Pakistan. The civil unrest came to a head with large-scale rioting on 17 September last year — primarily between Muslim and Hindu youths of South Asian origin in eastern parts of the city.
