Everything is going to plan … A global food crisis looms amid the war in Ukraine. But there’s a way Canada can help

The world’s breadbasket is cracking. Ukrainian land is being shattered by bombs, its sea ports disrupted by blockades, and its working-age population increasingly focused on burying enemy soldiers instead of seeds.

The ripple effects of this will hit the world’s poor the hardest, with high wheat-importing regions like North Africa especially vulnerable.

Food prices were already high. Now, two countries that produce more than one-quarter of the world’s wheat are at war, and one crisis is compounding another.

Seriously I am going to need a tinfoil hat fitting. Pandemic, Economic chaos, War, Green-scam,  now a Food crisis preceded by admonitions to give up meat & eat government bugs … What’s next? Aliens! Well we’ve kinda already had “Aliens” but I suspect the Big Reveal to come will be Transgender Aliens.

How today’s elites manipulate America’s working class

In the old days, Russia would send communist agitators to rile up the working class. Nowadays, they don’t have to. The West’s ruling class is happy to do the agitating.

Traditionally, communist agitators (they preferred the term “organizers”) would try to build class consciousness among the workers. They’d stress the notion of the working class as a separate entity, distinct from the well-off managers, capitalists and aristocrats that occupied the higher rungs of the social ladder.

Where’s ‘freedom’ from here? Canada’s convoy protests are over, but the anger remains

A team of researchers at Cambridge University’s Centre for the Future of Democracy recently came to some counterintuitive findings.

Using a massive dataset from 27 countries and 81,857 survey respondents, the team suggested the COVID-19 pandemic may have halted the rise of populism and populist leaders across the world. Political polarization over the period appears to have declined — a populist leader’s mishandling of the pandemic led to an average 10 percentage point drop in approval rating.

From Cambridge you say? Historic haven for turncoat Homo commies and upper-class twits.

Terence Corcoran: In Canada, follow the money + the ideas

“… Schwab and the WEF had help in setting up their Canadian infiltration mission, including from Trudeau’s former chief of staff, Gerald Butts, a participant in the WEF’s Davos conferences and a leading backroom organizer of the Trudeau government’s ideological gambits. When it comes to subversive plans to overthrow the free-world economy, few are larger in scope than the WEF’s global scheme to remake the world and install a new form of “capitalism” based on the recruitment of corporate leaders into the role of government.

The WEF infiltration of Ottawa has never been a secret, nor has Butts’ involvement. But it is far from being common knowledge among voters that the ideological model behind the Liberal policy machine, the steering mechanism that guides decisions and policies, is subversive and authoritarian. It also covers a massive policy territory, from climate to COVID-19.

Our Elite is No Elite At All

The only real recent public service of elites has been to persuade us why they were never elites at all.

An elite is always variously defined.

The ideal elites, as ancient philosophers argued, were a “natural elite” due to their exemplary character, aptitude, and work ethic. Understandably, a towering few ascended from all walks of life to positions of power, influence, and occasional wealth.

But such a natural meritocracy, for obvious reasons, rarely leads to an equality of result.

Why the experts are losing

Their fantasy world can no longer control us

We tend to characterise totalitarianism as a top-down affair, where the state controls the thoughts and actions of its citizenry according to the whims of some politburo. But in the West today, the project of information control and narrative management is not solely the brainchild of the state. Rather, calls to increase censorship come not from the state but from below, with the educated, urban middle classes often organising on their own to help bring this about.

Canadian Patriots Rise Up Against Mandate Tyranny – Spread the Word

I have never been more proud of my Canadian roots than during the last few days as I have tracked the “Anti-Vaccine-Mandate” trucker convoy making its way across Canada to its final destination of the national capital of Ottawa to scream out as one against the dictatorial edicts of the entrenched-establishment elites who “lead” the country.

So it begins: FBI raids home of mom who protested school board

An FBI SWAT team raided the home of an activist mother of four in Colorado on Tuesday, Nov. 16, knocking down her door, bursting into the house with guns and handcuffing her while she was homeschooling her children.

This is the first known case of the federal government making good on its promise to not only intimidate but actually carry out a raid on a mom who was involved in her local school board politics, said Brannon Howse, who interviewed Sherronna Bishop at Lindell TV Wednesday night.

Canada’s Wealthy Elites Long Had A Soft Spot For Fascism

The Canadian military’s efforts in the Second World War are often mythologized so as to portray opposition to fascism as a cross-class trait, shared by workers, bosses and politicians alike. The disturbing reality, however, is that well into the late 1930s, a significant section of Canada’s elite admired fascism in Italy and even in Germany.

Covid-Related Emergency Powers Act Further Erodes Democracy In Canada

According to the Justice Centre For Constitutional Freedoms, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has passed Bill 10, titled the Alberta Public Health(Emergency Powers) Amendment Act.

Incredibly, the bill provides unprecedented powers to any government minister at the stroke of a pen. The passing of the bill means that under the Alberta Public Health Act, MLA’s can create, implement and enforce news laws–without the law being approved by the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.

Leftist-packed commission urges Biden to fight ‘disinformation,’ ‘conspiracy theories’

The Aspen Institute Commission on Information Disorder released a number of recommendations Monday, which included calling upon the Biden administration to have an “apolitical team” (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) develop a national strategy to tackle the issue. The group said that although the federal government has recognized the effects of false and misleading information “on public health, elections, businesses, technology, and continued campaigns on communities of color,” it has failed to create a strategy or put leadership on the problem.
