We are now in the midst of the greatest social engineering experiment ever foisted off on the American people. If conservatives and Republicans do not put brakes on it in the next few years, it will do irrevocable damage to our society and our economy. The contrived war on climate change is an overblown threat pushed on gullible Americans over the last two decades by leftist progressives, the mainstream media, and elites in the New York-D.C.-Hollywood axis. That agenda has far less to do with saving the planet than it does with destroying the oil, coal, and natural gas industries that have fueled the American economic miracle for over a century. This cabal would see us become dependent on inefficient, inferior, and overly expensive energy sources.

COP26, supposedly humanity’s “last best chance,” struggled to yield even faint hope of keeping temperatures from rising 2 C, let alone 1.5 C. Even so, egged on by catastrophists and the mainstream media, Canadian politicians are adopting increasingly damaging climate policies. Should we be surprised that Canada’s delegation to COP26 was the world’s largest? Surprised, not so much. Appalled, definitely.

According to a three-year study published in Scientific Reports Friday, the mass known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is about 1.6 million square kilometers in size – up to 16 times bigger than previous estimates. Of all the fabricated narratives about the environment, this one takes the cake. Yes, there is plastic in the oceans, mostly discarded fishing gear, but there is no island of plastic waste twice the size of Texas in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Because the average person cannot see the middle of the Pacific for themselves sensationalist activists, media, and politicians just make this up. In fact, plastic in the oceans is doing far more good than harm. Allow me to explain this bold assertion.

A week after the Glasgow climate conference opened, 100,000 demonstrators marched to denounce the delegates as frauds who would not impose the revolution required in fossil fuel elimination to save the planet. The inevitable Swedish teenage climate protester Greta Thunberg called it, “Two weeks of business as usual: blah, blah, blah.” Fortunately, she is correct: the Glasgow commitments are not binding and no one will pay any attention to them.

Canada’s ambassador to the U.S. stressed further that a proposed tax credit that encourages electric vehicle production in the U.S. would cause harm to Canada’s economy.

“It’s not good news for Canada. It’s also really not good news for the U.S.,” Ambassador Kirsten Hillman said during an interview with Global News’ Mercedes Stephenson on The West Block.

The Liberal – left don’t want you allowed to drive anything anyway, not even a horse and buggy. Frankly Justin and his fellow Eco-Cultists are likely very happy at the prospect that vehicles of any type will not be manufactured or assembled in Canada.

Fossil fuel. No two words evoke greater disgust in the 21st century. Newsreaders utter these dread words with naked disdain. Green campaigners speak of fossil fuels in the same fearful, besmirching tones that medieval Christians would have used when speaking of Beelzebub. Google these two F-words and you’ll be treated to photo after photo of black, choking factories. ‘Keep it in the ground!’, environmentalists cry, convinced that humanity’s digging for coal, oil and gas, and our burning of these long dormant fuels to create energy, has propelled our planet into a hellscape of pollution. The Extinction Rebellion death cult marches behind banners declaring ‘Fossil fuels = death’. These dug-up fossils are ‘fuelling the apocalypse’, academics claim.

OTTAWA – While other major economies are making big bets on nuclear energy to get to a carbon neutral future, Canada’s Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault says the market will decide which carbon-free technologies replace fossil fuels.

Want an electric car? You better go BIG for nuclear. Of course our “betters” don’t want the peasants driving at all.

As the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) nears an end, it may be more important to talk about what wasn’t discussed at the summit than what was. Predictably, trendy culprits of the day like oil, private jets and cars were the subject of highly-publicized speeches and promises, with buzzy terms like “sustainability” and “net-zero” tossed about like confetti on a new bride.
