WARMINGTON: If tents at University of Toronto aren’t removed now, a campground will remain for months

Move over graduation season, it’s camping season at University of Toronto.

But camping without a permit.

It’s 10 PM and surprise surprise U of T caves.

UofT says protesters must stop by 10 p.m.

In handouts to protesters on the lawn, the university told students that they must stop protesting by 10 p.m. The consequences of not doing so were not made clear.

The university, in its handout, also noted that no hate speech or discriminatory language would be tolerated, no structures — including tents — could be erected, and no fires or excessive noise would be allowed.

A really good read on the U of T “protest” by a Prof. To my shock very few actual students are involved.

A short note on the encampment that’s now set up here in Toronto @UofT. I snuck into it today (I told them I was a fellow comrade who’d stepped out to get a cig – not exactly crack security). I think it’s only fair to talk to the folks and see what’s going on before judging. 1/x

West-hating pro-Palestinian protests are a harbinger of much worse to come

Covid is long since over, but the protesters still wear face masks: the ignorant, entitled little delinquents running riot in so many of the world’s greatest universities are truly an embarrassment. The product of a catastrophic social experiment, of years of brainwashing and coddling, they embody all of the Western world’s most debilitating pathologies.

The ‘Palestinian State’: Hamas Plays Westerners for Fools – Again

After slaughtering 1,200 Israelis and kidnapping 240 others on October 7, 2023, the Iran-backed Hamas terror group is again trying to dupe gullible Westerners, including the Biden administration and the European Union, into believing that it has accepted the “two-state solution.” The solution envisages the creation of a sovereign and independent Palestinian state next to Israel, on the entire lands of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem.

Columbia University community ‘shattered’ after police raid

Police and private security throng every entrance but one. Steel barriers line the streets. Students pack up belongings in their cars and leave for home – classes are cancelled, and exam plans are up in the air.

Everywhere there is gloom, and uncertainty about what happens next at Columbia University in New York City.

Students told the BBC that the university’s decision to call in police to clear a Gaza protest late on Tuesday, leading to a raid on the occupied Hamilton Hall and more than 100 arrests, has left the college community shattered.

Is anti-white prejudice fuelling anti-Zionist protests?

Student protests have erupted across numerous elite American campuses over the past two weeks, pitting administrations against student activists. What accounts for the energy of the movement?

The Israel-Palestine issue is complex, with a good case to be made that Israel should have acted with more restraint. Palestinian motivations are understandable. What is harder to explain, however, is the exceptional focus of white progressive student protesters on this question.

Pro-Palestinian protesters have set up encampments at two more British Columbia universities, as a wave of demonstrations at North American post-secondary institutions continued to spread.

The University of Victoria confirmed Wednesday that a protest site had been established on campus, saying the school was “taking a calm and thoughtful approach” to minimizing disruptions stemming from the encampment in its quad.

The Gaza student protestors have emboldened America’s enemies

For the past few weeks, protests have rocked college campuses across the United States over Israel’s war against Hamas. Last night, police raided Columbia University to remove students occupying one of its buildings, while violence has broken out between protesting groups at UCLA in California.

The pro-Palestine demonstrators portray themselves as defenders of human rights and social justice – viewing Israel through the warped lens of anti-colonialism and intersectionality. But in reality they have been amplifying the messaging of US-sanctioned terrorist organisations like Hamas. These entities have the blood of Americans, Israelis, and Palestinians on their hands. But none of this seems to bother the protestors.

Columbia University’s protesters most moronic moments

From demanding ‘humanitarian aid’ to complaining about their privacy and whining when the cops finally cracked down

Columbia student protestors were finally shut down by police force Tuesday night after weeks of unrest spurred by the school’s Gaza Solidarity Encampment.

Protesters have been demanding the college divest from companies with links to Israel or firms profiting from its war on Hamas.

NYPD officers apprehended pro-Palestinian students on the Ivy League campus who had taken over Hamilton Hall, causing considerable damage and destruction to the building.

Crack Down on Anti-Semitic K–12 Curricula

It’s not just on campus: even in primary and secondary education, Jews are often portrayed as privileged whites and Zionist colonial oppressors.

Anti-Semitism is spreading in K–12 school districts. Even in primary and secondary education, Jews are often viewed as privileged whites and oppressors, with Israel branded as an egregious example of “settler colonialism” and oppression of “indigenous people.” “Liberated ethnic studies” curricula, like the one mandated by California, have created a distinct variant of critical theory aimed at Jews for being Zionist colonial oppressors.

I’ve read a number of articles on the topic of DEI and CRT in the classroom and also the wider world.

A few recognize that it is poison for everyone. But others seem fine with DEI so long as Jews are able to secure a safe space in the victimhood hierarchy.

Groups like the ADL of course are keen to grab a piece of that action leaving whites as the Eternal Oppressor.

What consequences could ICC warrant have for Netanyahu?

According to Israeli media outlets, the government in Tel Aviv has cast a cautious eye toward The Hague, Netherlands — home of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The government’s unease comes after recent reports that the court may issue warrants for the arrests of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Herzi Halevi, chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), before the end of the week.

Netanyahu commented on a possible arrest warrant on Friday, April 26, on the social media platform X, writing, “Under my leadership, Israel will never accept any attempt by the ICC to undermine its inherent right of self-defense.”

Two students at the Montreal university had asked Quebec Superior Court to order protesters to move at least 100 metres from school buildings, saying their presence had created an environment of aggression and left them feeling unsafe.
