France opens terror investigation after Dakar rally explosion

French prosecutors have opened a terrorism investigation after a car participating in the Dakar rally was hit by an explosion in Saudi Arabia last week that badly wounded its driver.

After the 30 December attack in the city of Jeddah, the driver, Philippe Boutron, underwent surgery in Saudi Arabia for serious leg injuries before returning to France.

“A preliminary investigation has been opened into multiple attempted killings in connection with a terrorist group,” national anti-terror prosecutors said in a statement on Tuesday.

Palestinians: We Are Proud of Terrorists

Normally, parents are proud to see their sons and daughters graduate from high school or university and go on to pursue their lives. This is true of ordinary parents who care about the well-being of their children and want the best for them.

Some Palestinian parents, however, are proud to see their children carry out terrorist attacks or murder Jews. For these parents, it is more “honorable” if their son or daughter murders a Jew than becomes a doctor, lawyer or engineer.

In the past few decades, many Palestinian parents have publicly boasted of the involvement of their children and family members in terrorist attacks against Jews.

Canadian Arabic-Language Paper Publishes Column Calling for Israel’s Destruction

In a recent December 31 column in Meshwar Media, an Arabic-language publication that has been accused of antisemitism and of publishing blood libels, praising terrorists and comparing Israelis to Nazis, Kamal Khalaf extols the virtues of the Palestinian “revolution” in the 1960s, when Yasser Arafat of the Palestine Liberation Organization achieved widespread international legitimacy in his terror war against Israel.

Somaliland asks Canada for help amid superpower rivalry in Horn of Africa

Vote whore and 5th columnist.

Somali’s breakaway Somaliland region is asking Canada for international recognition and aid, saying it’s important for Western countries to support a functioning democracy that’s resisting China’s influence in the Horn of Africa.

The self-declared state, which split from Somalia 30 years ago, sent its Foreign Minister, Essa Kayd, to Washington, London and Ottawa recently as part of a campaign to refashion its external relationships. A U.S. congressional staff delegation later visited Somaliland.

… Mr. Kayd alleges that Somaliland only receives a fraction of the aid provided to Somalia from international donors. “Ninety-eight per cent of it is going to Somalia and perhaps 2 per cent is reaching Somaliland,” he said, accusing other players such as militant Islamist group al-Shabaab of taking a share of the aid.

I don’t know if Somalia’s man in Ottawa will care much for this. – Go incognito.

Sweden prosecutes Muslima for recruiting son to fight in Syria as child soldier

A 49-year-old woman from Sweden has been charged with war crimes and breaching international law for allegedly assisting in getting her son to fight in Syria as a child soldier, Swedish public prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The woman, who has been in custody in Sweden since September, is suspected of helping recruit one of her sons – born in 2001 – to fight as a child soldier while they lived between 2013-2016 in Syrian territory once controlled by the Islamic State group.

The Swedish Prosecution Authority said in a statement this is the first time that the country has brought war crimes charges against an individual for abetting in recruiting child soldiers.

Barbara Kay: The high priests of woke hijack the hijab debate

Readers truly interested in courageous Muslim women’s ‘lived experience’ can find them online under hashtag #FreeFromHijab

Quebec’s Bill 21, which proscribes visible religious symbols in many public-sector jobs — popular with Quebec francophones, unpopular with Quebec and Canadian anglophones — was passed in 2019, but it wasn’t until October that a test case emerged in the public school system. In an act of civil disobedience abetted by Bill 21-dissenting school administrators, substitute teacher Fatemeh Anvari, who wears the hijab, was assigned to a homeroom Grade 3 class at Chelsea Elementary School.

This entire affair is media incited. Sane people do not desire to live under the Mohammedan cult’s sharia law.

UK Islamic school was ‘petri dish of terror that tortured pupils’

A former pupil at an Islamic religious school in Leicester has told how he and hundreds of other pupils were subjected to Guantanamo Bay-inspired torture and described the school as a “petri dish” for terrorists.

Adam — who did not want his full name to be used — described having to squat for long periods with his hands looped under his knees and holding his ears. This, he said, was punishment for not having learnt verses of the Quran correctly.

As Many as 1 in 3 Afghan Refugee Women at U.S. Bases are Pregnant

Despite the denials, statistics make the existence of child brides obvious.

When Biden’s Afghanistan retreat first brought tens of thousands of Afghans to the United States without any visas or vetting, officials at Fort McCoy warned about numerous incidents of Afghan child brides. Democrats and senior military officials have denied these allegations, but shocking new statistics out of Fort McCoy raise new questions of just how pervasive this is.

Two Afghan brothers are charged in Germany with murdering their sister ‘because of her Western way of life’

Two Afghan brothers have been charged in Germany with murdering their sister, whom they allegedly wanted to punish because of her Western way of life.

The men, identified only as Sayed H., 26, and Seyed H., 22, due to Germany’s privacy laws, are accused of luring their 34-year-old sister Maryam H. to a meeting in Berlin on July 13, before choking and strangling her and cutting her throat.

German prosecutors say that the brothers dismembered the mother-of-two’s body and then took a taxi to a train station later that day with her body in a suitcase.

France shuts mosque in Beauvais for sermons ‘defending jihad’

A mosque in the northern French region of Oise has been closed because of an imam’s radical sermons, said to have “defended jihad”.

The mosque in the town of Beauvais will remain shut for six months, local authorities say.

Oise’s prefect said sermons there called jihadist fighters “heroes” and incited hatred and violence.

France has been carrying out checks on Islamic places of worship suspected of having links to extremism.

“This year we learned that even the killing of an MP is not enough to force the political class to confront Islamist terror.”

David Amess and the deafening silence on Islamism

Conservative MP Sir David Amess was stabbed to death in October in a suspected Islamist terror attack. It shocked the nation.

But the political and media response to his killing revealed something else, too. Namely, that we live in a society that is increasingly indulging in terror denialism – especially when it comes to the threat posed by Islamist terrorism.

This was clear from the way politicians and pundits were quick to blame Amess’s killing on anything but Islamist terrorism.
