Is Britain heading for civil war? It would be foolish to write it off …

Unusual for the time of year, the radiant sun was setting over the picturesque city. It was the early evening of 5 April 1992, and while some Sarajevo’s residents were listening to the opera, lovers could be seen strolling along the Miljacka river. The following morning, the city woke up to bodies in the streets.

Admittedly, tensions had been rising for over a month as politicians and fascists politicised a murder at a wedding to sow hatred and division. But nobody expected it to come to this. How could a European city so rich in culture and on the road to development be torn apart by such brutal violence? Overnight, Sarajevo had become a byword for the dangers of ethnic division, ultra-nationalistic fervour, tribalism and wanton extremism.

The segment I posted yesterday was edited to exclude the reference to the antisemitism of Canada and Europe.

I maintain my belief that the “silence” of previously reliable support noted by the Jewish community stems at least in part from the foolish embrace of racist policies like DEI and CRT by Jewish leadership.

Batya Ungar-Sargon is the first from the Jewish community to speak out about the folly of that choice that I am aware of.

I don’t believe she has a Canadian counterpart but I would love to be introduced to one if such a person exists.

As she notes of America’s leadership I suspect our Swells are wondering why the Trannies and BLM get a spot on the DEI hierarchy of victimhood and they don’t.

It’s a coveted designation as it allows “Open Season On Whitey” without repercussions.

She is not wrong in her assessment of Canada given our streets are daily given over to the Muslim mob and their useful idiots on the left.

How many of you have been labelled “islamophobes” or “racists” or “white supremacists” by the so called “anti-racists”, “Thought leaders” and journalists of the Jewish community and their allies?

Over the years all those types have taken their shots at me for having the audacity to speak out against Islam and mass immigration.

New crime of Islamophobia in wake of riots ‘would threaten free speech’

Calls to make Islamophobia a specific crime in the wake of riots threatens free speech, MPs have warned.

There is no single agreed definition of anti-Muslim hatred but Labour has previously signalled its support for one.

Left-wing Labour MPs and Muslim groups have urged Sir Keir Starmer to take a stronger stance on Islamophobia after a far-Right mob attacked a mob in Southport last week.

But opposition backbenchers warned any new legislation would only serve to stifle criticism of religion and freedom of expression.

Former NB Cabinet Minister Arrested in Toronto for Allegedly Confronting Anti-Israel Protesters

A former New Brunswick cabinet minister says he was arrested by Toronto police and accused of disturbing the peace after chanting “Free Palestine – from Hamas” during a pro-Palestine protest.

Dominic Cardy was elected as a Progressive Conservative MLA in 2018 and was the province’s minister of education and early childhood development until he resigned in 2022. He currently sits as an Independent.

France beefs up security at Jewish sites following threats from Iran

France on Friday ordered additional security measures at Jewish sites across the country, saying there was danger of revenge attacks after the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Iran, AFP reported.

In a message sent to regional prefects, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said an “immediate strengthening” of protection was required.

“The risk of acts being committed is real,” he said in the message seen by AFP, especially since “many Israeli nationals are on our territory because of the Olympic Games”.

I, like millions of other Canadians, was shocked to learn yesterday (Wednesday) of a planned terrorist attack in Toronto. The planned attack, which I am thankful was foiled by police and security services, involved an individual who previously travelled to Syria to join ISIS and participate in its genocidal campaign of terror.

As we know from the RCMP, this individual was charged with committing aggravated assault on behalf of the terrorist group while abroad in 2015.

‘I didn’t do any of it’: Father and son accused of Toronto terror plot both deny younger man’s guilt

The father and son accused of plotting a violent Toronto terrorist attack in support of the Islamic State denied the son’s involvement during a court appearance Thursday.

Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, 62, and his son, Mostafa Eldidi, 26, appeared in Newmarket court on terrorism charges for allegedly plotting what authorities have called a “serious and violent attack” in Toronto. The men were arrested at a Richmond Hill hotel Sunday.

Nearly 1 in 20 of all Syrians now lives in Germany, over half receive welfare

Ever since the 2015/16 migrant crisis, Syrians have arrived in Germany in ever-increasing numbers, and now number at least 972,000 at the end of 2023, according to Statista. There are 22 million Syrians living in Syria itself, meaning those in Germany represent nearly 1 for every 20 in their native country.

This is extremely rapid growth since 2014 when there were only 60,000 Syrians in Germany. Since then, the population has grown 16-fold.
