The Islamist roots of French disorder

The country’s riots cannot be explained away by socio-economic woes alone.

The most destructive, spectacular and costly riots in France’s recent history, surpassing even the infamous unrest of 2005, are over. To the Anglophone media and its audiences they were an expression of the anger felt among the children of France’s former overseas possessions – a generational resentment fuelled by experiences of poverty, discrimination and painful colonial legacies.

Others have noted the opportunistic, even recreational quality of rioting, but the anger – the rage – against France among parts of its youth is real and goes deeper than one specific event.

CAIR’s Support for Parents Opposed to ‘LGBT’ Curriculum Reflects Move Away from Fake Progressive Stance

After years of allowing its branches to collaborate with leftists on issues related to sexuality, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is standing with conservative parents in Maryland to rally for the right to opt their children out of “LGBT” teachings they deem objectionable.

This latest development reflects a more general trend in U.S. Islamism, in which there is an increasing tendency for Islamists to partner with conservatives — Islamists now pretending to support traditional family values. CAIR leaders and other Islamists are moving away from the previous tendency to pander to leftist and “progressive” opinion for tactical reasons. Yet, as may be seen below, the situation remains in flux with some elements at the local level continuing the trend of pandering to local progressives, even as CAIR’s national leadership appears to be more openly advocating Islamist positions regarding the “LGBT” issue.

During the period when the Saudi Supreme Court (which is not really a supreme court, but more a congregation of imams) gave the green light to a thousand lashes and ten years in prison for the liberal blogger Raif Badawi, guilty of having “offended Islam,” a delegation of United Nations bureaucrats landed in Jeddah to promote an “international conference on religious freedom”. No, this is not a joke.

Canada is condemning captured murderous traitors who joined ISIS to ‘life sentence,’ in Syrian camps UN rapporteur says

The UN special rapporteur on counter-terrorism and human rights says Canada is putting the lives of its citizens at risk by not helping to return them from prisons in Syria.

“It is inconceivable for any country, including Canada, to leave its vulnerable children in these camps for a day longer than they should be,” said Fionnuala Ní Aoláin in an interview airing Saturday on CBC’s The House.

The UN special rapporteur also accused the Canadian government of hypocrisy, arguing that its actions on citizens in Syria devalued other efforts on the international stage.

They made their choice.

Syrian man accused over 2013 massacre arrested in Germany

A Syrian man accused of leading a pro-government militia in Tadamon, a Damascus neighbourhood that was the site of a massacre of civilians in 2013 filmed by its perpetrators and revealed by the Guardian last year, has been arrested in northern Germany.

The suspect, identified as Ahmad H in line with German privacy rules, is the first person to be detained in connection with crimes in Tadamon, where militia and soldiers loyal to the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, brutalised the local population – recording some of their acts – in the early years of the country’s civil war.

He is accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes including torture and enslavement, prosecutors said on Thursday.

A father who beat his daughter outside her school during a row over a boy has been spared jail after she gave an emotional courtroom plea for mercy.

Delivery driver Hussein Alinzi, 59, battered the 15-year-old with a metal bar on the morning of her English GCSE exam when he dropped her off early at the gates of the Whalley Range High School to find them still locked.

During the assault Alinzi accused his daughter of secretly planning to a meet a boy ahead of the exam and berated her for wearing makeup. But it later emerged the real reason she did so was to cover up the bruises he had inflicted on her.

Women in the southern French city of Lyon are reportedly facing sexual harassment from men on a near-daily basis. They go without make-up, change their preferred attire, and even avoid certain areas of the city to live their daily lives in peace.

Several women have shared their experiences living in the city and having their mobility hampered, whether travelling by public transport or simply walking down the street. They told the news platform Actu about their day-to-day lives in Lyon.

Emmanuel Macron blames children of single parents for French riots

France faces an “immense” challenge, President Macron said after disclosing that three quarters of the children prosecuted over this summer’s riots were from single-parent families or in social care.

In an interview with Le Figaro’s weekly magazine, Macron said the figure underlined a breakdown of authority and a decline of trust in parents and schoolteachers, but also in democratic institutions.

His comments were an attempt to flesh out the Elysée’s view that parental failings lay behind the worst urban violence in France for 18 years.

He went to the Justin Trudeau school of crappy lying.

Media ignores Muslim killing of gay man because it doesn’t fit narrative

It is worth pausing over every murder that goes on in this city. But a brutal killing this week deserves special attention.

Not least because it tells us something it appears we don’t want to know.

O’Shae Sibley was a talented 28-year-old dancer and choreographer.

He was stabbed to death last Saturday night at a gas station in Brooklyn.

Spanish – Canadian Forces dismantle terrorist network

The Guardia Civil and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have dismantled a terrorist network supporting DAESH, which culminated, with the arrest of a 34-year-old suspect in Toronto for their involvement in several terrorist offences, on Tuesday, August 1.

The joint operation originated from a Guardia Civil investigation in 2020 when an individual was arrested in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, for his involvement in terrorism offences. This individual was sentenced to six years in prison for the crimes of self-training and financing of terrorism.

Swedes Turn to Vigilante Justice To Deal With Migrant Crime

Residents in the Stockholm suburb of Husby have started taking the law into their own hands after law enforcement, despite pleas from locals, has done little to alleviate problems with migrant crime.

Husby, northwest of Stockholm, is one of many areas across Sweden that are considered “vulnerable” due to high unemployment and high rates of crime, with a 2017 report claiming there were as many as 61 “no-go areas”, with 23 of them considered “particularly vulnerable.”

UK Recognizes Islamic State Atrocities Against Yazidis as ‘Genocide’

The British government on Tuesday recognized as genocide those crimes committed against the Yazidi minority by Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq in 2014.

The decision comes days before the ninth anniversary of the crimes that were perpetrated by the terror group also known as ISIS or Daesh.

“The Yazidi population suffered immensely at the hands of Daesh nine years ago, and the repercussions are still felt to this day,” Britain’s minister of state for the Middle East, Tariq Ahmad, said in a statement. “Justice and accountability are key for those whose lives have been devastated.”

Everyone should have the right to insult Islam

It might soon be illegal in Denmark to make fun of Islam. Seriously. In response to a spate of Koran burnings – in both Denmark and its neighbour, Sweden – the Danish foreign ministry has issued an extraordinary statement. A statement that should chill the blood of all who believe in free speech. The state might soon have to start intervening, it said, in situations where ‘other countries, cultures and religions are being insulted’. In short, a Dane’s right to mock all nations, gods, prophets and ideas might have to be sacrificed at the altar of protecting people’s feelings. This represents a deadly blow to freedom of expression.

Canadian Muslims to stage ‘Million Person March’ to protest against Trudeau Liberal’s push for LGBTQ indoctrination in schools

I knew it! It’s those bloody Christians again!

Ottawa businessman and Muslim activist Kamel El-Cheikh is organizing a Million Person March to protest gender ideology and “Pride” month in schools. He told The Post Millennial that his goal is to bring together a million Canadians of all faiths from coast to coast on Sept. 20.

Although he has rarely been in the media spotlight as a businessman, El-Cheikh has become a prominent protest organizer in the last months as he has led groups of Muslims and Christians in Ottawa who are opposed to children being told they can change their gender without telling their parents and to pornographic literature used in sex education.

Junior is every bit the stupid liar he appears to be in this vid.
