What the heck is going on in this country?

As the Biden administration continues to peel away the accomplishments of his predecessor, what I hear most from family, friends, and social media posters is a fear that Democrats have become power-mad with their recent ascendancy to a majority position in the House and Senate. They wonder if the current crop of radical officials is hell-bent on weakening, and ultimately destroying, the country that gave them those positions. Beginning with reversing President Trump’s southern border policies, which has led to an invasion of illegal aliens unprecedented in our history, to the shutdown of the Keystone pipeline, taking away our energy independence, and several other policy changes that adversely affect our safety and our economy, one has to suspect the motives of those in charge.

Stelter Drives Smear-Wagon Into the Ditch, Compares Trump ‘Cult’ to JONESTOWN

CNN hosts get incredibly overwrought about Republicans underplaying the January 6 riot as a tourist visit that got out of hand. But they have no resistance whatsoever to comparing January 6 to 9/11. Then on today’s Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter trotted out the Jonestown massacre of 1978, where about 900 members of the People’s Temple committed a mass suicide under orders from Jim Jones. Hard-core MAGA fans apparently would do that for Trump.

For the FBI, a shameful anniversary

FOR THE FBI, A SHAMEFUL ANNIVERSARY. Five years ago, on July 31, 2016, the Federal Bureau of Investigation opened Crossfire Hurricane, its investigation of the presidential campaign of former President Donald Trump. Some parts of the bureau had been looking into allegations of collusion between the campaign and Russia even before the investigation began. But on July 31, the FBI started the process that led to a million leaks, enormous damage to candidate Trump, and then President-elect Trump, and then President Trump, the abuse of the government’s secret surveillance court to wiretap a low-level Trump adviser, efforts to impeach the president, more leaks, media hysteria, and, finally, the investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller, who could not establish that collusion — he called it “conspiracy” or “coordination” — ever took place, much less that Trump or anyone associated with him was involved with it.

Ranking member of the powerful House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes told me on The Sara Carter Show podcast that he still expects Justice Department Special Counsel John Durham to release a damaging report on the FBI’s debunked investigation into former President Donald Trump and Russia. He also expects it will lead to prison sentences for some former senior Obama officials.

Media Bites Hard, Yet Again, for Another ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ Story on Trump

The Guardian is pushing a story claiming documents showing the Kremlin met to agree to push “mentally unstable” Donald Trump during the 2016 election and that they had some undefined “kompromat” on Trump. Now there’s no detail as to what this alleged kompromat is, much less any evidence to support the claim.

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is straight out of Dr. Strangelove

In Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 black comedy Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, the engine for the plot is Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper, a United States Air Force general, who goes completely off his rocker and launches a nuclear weapon at the Soviet Union. We may have our own, real-life General Ripper in the form of General Mark Milley, a product of the Ivy League and now chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. However, unlike General Ripper, who had the Russkies in his sights, General Milley is pretty sure that you are the enemy.

Gen. Mark Milley Compared Trump Supporters To Nazis: ‘These Are The Same People We Fought In World War II’

General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, compared supporters of former President Donald Trump to Nazis, according to a new book.

Milley, who has been widely criticized for being “woke,” claimed that Trump was preaching “the gospel of the Führer” when he contested the results of the 2020 election and claimed that Trump had led the U.S. to the brink of its own “Reichstag moment,” a reference to an incident in 1933 that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler used to consolidate political power in Germany.

Donald Trump slams ‘disgusting’ report on Russian interference in 2016 election

A new report alleging Russian spy agencies were told to help Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election is “disgusting” and “fiction,” the former president said Thursday.

“This is disgusting,” Trump tweeted through spokeswoman Liz Harrington. “It’s fake news, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA was fake news. It’s just the Radical Left crazies doing whatever they can to demean everybody on the right.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen.
