Violent British Criminals Let off the Hook With Apology

A record number of criminals, including robbers and sex offenders, are being let off with an apology, government figures show. This offers a stark contrast to the tough rhetoric espoused every election time by the governing Conservative Party.

Ahead of his election as prime minister, Rishi Sunak promised a “major crime crackdown” to tackle rising fears of criminality among the British public. Two years before this, Boris Johnson, like other Tory and Labour leaders who preceded him, also vowed to “come down hard on crime” by “coming down hard on criminals.” But data from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has revealed that more criminals than ever are avoiding punishment—even so much as a criminal record—simply by apologising for their wrongdoing.

Farewell to arms: Britain’s depleted military

A year ago on Friday, President Vladimir Putin unleashed blitzkrieg on Ukraine. It was an unprovoked assault that has so far led to more than 200,000 people being killed or wounded, but has failed in its intention of establishing Russian hegemony over its democratic neighbour. The West and much of the rest of the civilised world were shocked by the invasion, as well as being horrified and disgusted by the brutality of the Russian armed forces.

Islamist Whore Shamima Begum loses legal fight to return to Britain

Shamima Begum has lost an appeal against the revocation of her British citizenship, after MI5 argued that she continued to pose a threat to national security.

Ms Begum, now 23, fled the UK at the age of 15 to join the Islamic State (IS) terror group in Syria and had her British citizenship removed by the Home Secretary when she resurfaced in a refugee camp in 2019.

She mounted a legal challenge against the decision, arguing that MI5 was wrong to conclude she represents a threat to the British public and claiming she was trafficked to Syria for sexual exploitation.

Meanwhile the Trudeau government welcomes these Islamist whores of Satan with open arms as if they were the real victims.

What’s driving Britain’s anti-migrant protests? – Anxiety over immigration isn’t fuelled by racism

Last week, after a demonstration against the housing of refugees in a Knowsley hotel turned violent, many on the Left were quick to denounce the protestors as fascists or racists, and to lay the blame on Suella Braverman for warning of a migrant “invasion”. There were more protests across the UK at the weekend; no doubt a similar response will follow.

New data reveals nationwide desire for lower immigration

New UnHerd Britain polling today reveals the strength of opposition across Britain to current levels of immigration: 57% of Britons agree with the statement “Immigration levels are too high”, compared to just 20% who disagree.

Britain banned from deporting 53 foreign terrorists as European judges say it would breach their human rights

Murderers, bomb plotters and would-be suicide bombers are among 53 foreign terrorists whose deportation is being blocked by European human rights laws, a Mail on Sunday investigation today reveals.

In one extraordinary case, an Islamic State member from Bangladesh who was jailed for attempting to recruit new members in Birmingham has successfully blocked his deportation because he would lose access to free NHS healthcare.

Another terrorist, an Iranian who had ingredients for a bomb in his garage in Surrey, has managed to stay in Britain by claiming he suffers from depression.

Patriotic Alternative posted anti-migrant leaflets before Merseyside riot

Britain’s fastest growing far-right group delivered hundreds of leaflets attacking migrants to homes in Merseyside days before a riot outside a hotel accommodating asylum seekers, it can be revealed.

Patriotic Alternative has denied being involved in Friday night’s disorder in Knowsley in which a police riot van was torched.

However, The Times has uncovered a video filmed during the riot by one of its activists, James Costello, in which he accused the police of deliberately stoking tensions.

Where is the moral outrage about Britain’s grooming gangs?

… A century or so later, in 2003, a journalist for the Times called Andrew Norfolk became aware of strange and disturbing rumours from Yorkshire. Originally reported by Labour MP Anne Cryer, they involved groups of mostly Pakistani men loitering around schools in Rotherham and sexually abusing girls, some as young as 13. There were supposedly whole gangs of men involved and the number of victims stood in the hundreds. Norfolk found it implausible; it sounded like a far-Right conspiracy.

Yet, as the Times journalist soon began to realise, this story was true. In fact, it was much bigger than anyone could really conceive, and it wasn’t just Rotherham, either; similar things were happening across the north of England and beyond. There were thousands of girls involved.

David Smith, 58, was a security guard in the British embassy in Berlin who hated the UK and kept a cartoon of Vladimir Putin holding Angela Merkel’s severed head in his work locker.

As far back as 2018, the ex-Royal Air Force officer began gathering sensitive information about British interests and is alleged to have given them to Russia in exchange for money.

Justin Welby said he was summoned twice to Parliament and threatened with parliamentary action to force same-sex marriage on the Church

The Archbishop of Canterbury claims he was “threatened with parliamentary action” in an attempt to “force same-sex marriage” in the Church of England.

The Most Rev Justin Welby said that he was twice summoned to Parliament over the issue as he blamed rising secularism for triggering the historic debate on blessings for gay and lesbian couples.

He also warned that the church should not be “dictated to”, “blackmailed” or “bribed” over the issue.

Suella Braverman told MPs that Prevent’s focus ‘must solely be on security, not political correctness’ and said the scheme needs to ‘better understand the threats we face and the ideology underpinning them’.

Shamima Begum: ‘I’m ashamed of myself. I made excuses’

For more than a year, I’ve been coming to sit in the same featureless, white, air-conditioned room. Cheap, stiff, bulky armchairs are positioned against the walls. In the centre is a long glass coffee table covered in refreshments – everything from bottled water to those fruit juices that contain enough sugar to dissolve your teeth. The room is in a Syrian detention camp. And it’s where I meet Shamima Begum for the ten-part BBC investigative podcast and feature documentary, The Shamima Begum Story.
