CCP State Media Praises ‘Davos Spirit’ as Conference Begins

As the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Davos 2023 conference is set to begin on Monday and elitist attendees fly a thousand private jets to Switzerland to lecture on the climate crisis, one country seems particularly enthusiastic for the event to begin. Chinese Communist Party (CCP) state propaganda outlet Global Times praised the “Davos Spirit” in a tweet, claiming, “China’s ideals and achievements also made the Davos Spirit more dazzling.”

‘Masterclass of Hypocrisy,’ Private Jet Use at Davos Attracts Severe Criticism Due to High Emissions

Private jet use during Davos meetings in May 2022 pushed up carbon emissions by four times, with event participants coming under criticism for pushing the climate change agenda on one hand while not undertaking any actions to rein in their own excessive emissions.

During the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos between May 22–26, 2022, 1,040 private jets flew in and out of airports serving Davos, according to a Jan. 13 report by Greenpeace. This caused carbon dioxide emissions from private jets to be four times greater than when compared to an average week.

“Catastrophic Outcomes”: Davos Elite Worried About Global Volatility, Cost-Of-Living Crisis

What happens when plebs can’t afford bread, and the circuses aren’t that entertaining?

Nothing good. Which is why the cost-of-living crisis is the #1 problem, according to the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report – an annual poll of 1,200 government, business and civil society professionals.

According to the poll, there will be little respite from “energy inflation, food and security crises” in the coming years (or months?).

In the near term, nearly 70% of those polled say volatile economies and various ‘shocks’ are in the cards, while 20% or so of those polled say they fear “catastrophic outcomes” within the next 10 years, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Freeland to attend World Economic Forum’s Davos meeting

Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland will attend the globalist World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting this month, but Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) leader Pierre Poilievre has said a hard no to any of his MPs attending.

The WEF’s annual meeting will be held January 16-23 in Davos, Switzerland.

Are they tone deaf or just arrogant?

Up to 5,000 Soldiers to be Deployed To Secure Upcoming WEF Meeting in Davos

With one week to go until the who’s who of the most radical globalists descend upon the picturesque ski resort town of Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, up to 5,000 soldiers from the Swiss army will be deployed to offer military support to the civil authorities of the canton of Graubünden, who are responsible for securing the summit’s premises and its participants.

… As per usual, the annual summit will be presided over by Klaus Schwab, the chairman of the WEF, who has repeatedly boasted about his organization having “penetrated” government cabinets across the world.

And then there’s this Bullshit…

Declaration of North America (DNA)

Today, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President Joseph R. Biden, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met in Mexico City for the 10th North American Leaders’ Summit (NALS). The leaders are determined to fortify our region’s security, prosperity, sustainability and inclusiveness through commitments across six pillars: 1) diversity, equity, and inclusion; 2) climate change and the environment; 3) competitiveness; 4) migration and development; 5) health; and 6) regional security.

GOLDSTEIN: Elitism, not populism, threatens our democracy

Elitism poses a far greater threat to democratic institutions than populism and the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week is a case in point.

From a Canadian perspective anyone who cares about democracy should worry a lot more about the WEF than the Freedom Convoy.

The Dossier acquires confidential Davos attendees list

The attendees list is a massive roster of some of the most influential and diabolical forces in the corporate, governmental and “non-profit” world. From the United States, this includes the likes of FBI director Chris Wray, the CEOs of Amazon, BlackRock, and Pfizer, top officials at the Gates Foundation and in the Soros network, and the Publisher of The New York Times, to name a few.

… The World Economic Forum is a fanatical political organization masquerading as a neutral entity, with specific policy goals that involve centralizing power into the possession of hand-picked global elites as the only means to save the earth from a claimed climate emergency.

World Economic Forum bungles ‘fact-check’ after Elon Musk blasts overpopulation ideology on Twitter

The World Economic Forum (WEF) attempted to provide “context” after billionaire and new Twitter owner Elon Musk called out the group’s overpopulation “philosophy” which he said spells the “death of humanity.”

Musk made the remarks in response to a Wednesday tweet by Wall Street Silver highlighting what the user called the WEF’s “depopulation agenda.” The WEF has long espoused the view that alleged “overpopulation” threatens global stability. The organization advocates for widespread birth control and access to abortion to allegedly improve social conditions, particularly for women and girls in third-world countries.

Conrad Black: Klaus Schwab’s obsession with pushing global governance

Last week at the G20 meeting in Indonesia, as U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping wasted their time talking about global warming, a subject the People’s Republic does not take seriously, instead of the origins of COVID or the status of Taiwan, to my utter astonishment, the face and voice of the “Great Reset” appeared. This is the jargon for the readjustment in the world towards so-called stakeholder capitalism that is the ambition of the conveners of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The forum began in 1971 as a conference where a few political leaders and celebrities from different industries and activities gathered and the occasion was paid for by admission fees happily tendered by a selection of prosperous people from different countries who wished to rub shoulders with the prominent featured guests. It was a winning commercial formula and it grew and grew. It never moved to a more commodious and stylish place than the dreary and remote Swiss town of Davos.

It’s sinister and anti-human to stop growth

Shrinking the global economy to consume fewer resources is the green lobby’s latest bad idea

Last month’s prime minister, Liz Truss, came to grief because her fanatical belief in economic growth crashed the economy into a wall. While condemning her recklessness, many nevertheless sympathised with the goal of growing the economy to produce increased prosperity and progress. After all, who wouldn’t agree with that?

It turns out that plenty of people wouldn’t, including the World Economic Forum.

WEF Calls for ‘Interventions’ in Free Speech to ‘Improve Safety’

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling for increased censorship and “interventions” in free speech rights to “improve safety” online.

In a new twist, German economist Klaus Schwab’s organization claims it is “thinking of the children” with its new push for online content moderation.

The group’s “formative content” senior writer lays out its new “protect the kids” agenda in a piece published on the WEF website.

The WEF argues that Big Tech companies must ramp up censorship efforts by removing content and applying warning labels to people’s posts to “enhance safety in digital spaces.”

Rex Murphy: In Defence of the West: Smith Takes a Stand Against Ottawa’s Allegiance to a Globalist Agenda

In the years before green ideology became ascendant in the federal government, and when Alberta was in its most active energy phase, there were many benefits to the Confederation. Not least, and being from Newfoundland, I like to point out how many people from my province—when it was reeling from the fishery collapse—found jobs and relief in Fort McMurray and allied projects in Alberta. One province helping another. I can’t think of a better model for a country built on mutual interdependence, which is why it’s styled a Confederation.
