For three years, she had been married to an older man – a man her father had paired her with out of perceived necessity.

‘My family is poor,’ she explained. Her father ‘accepted the first proposal for the marriage that came to him, not only for me but for my sisters, not caring that we were only children’.

Kash Patel denies rumors he’s quitting the FBI over DoJ ruling on Epstein files

FBI director Kash Patel has denied swirling resignation rumors over reported unhappiness at a justice department decision to close the book on Jeffrey Epstein after administration officials teased a big reveal earlier in the year.

In a Saturday social media post, the agency director said: “the conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been. It’s an honor to serve the President of the United States – and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me.”

Over the past week, Maga hardliners, including Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, former White House adviser Steve Bannon and – reportedly – FBI deputy director Dan Bongino, have been strongly critical of a joint decision by US attorney general Pam Bondi and the FBI to not release further information about Epstein held in government files, including a so-called client list.

Lab-grown cheese is coming

In an unassuming building in Stratford, east London, British start-up Better Dairy is making cheese that has never seen an udder, which it argues tastes like the real thing.

It is one of a handful of companies around the world hoping to bring lab-grown cheese to our dinner tables in the next few years.

But there has been a trend away from meat-free foods recently, according to the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).

Live Aid at 40: Hope, hype and hard questions

“It’s 12 noon in London, 7 a.m. in Philadelphia, and around the world it’s time for Live Aid.”

This television announcement on July 13, 1985, heralded over 16 hours of music broadcast from Wembley Stadium in London and John F Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia that united close to 2 billion people across more than 100 countries.

Live Aid was no ordinary gig. With the primary aim of raising funds for famine relief in drought-stricken Ethiopia, it was the largest satellite linkup and television broadcast of its time.

Oh No! It lacked diversity!

RCMP Gaslights Public On Extremism Statements

RCMP Clarifies Stance on ‘Traditional Values’ and Extremism

The RCMP is clarifying remarks made by an officer discussing radicalization in a video clip that sparked controversy, with the police force headquarters saying it was not suggesting that someone with traditional values is an extremist.

“The RCMP is in no way implying that embracing traditional values makes an individual radical or extreme,” spokesperson Marie-Eve Breton told The Epoch Times in a statement on July 9.

Habel added that having the “most extremist views is perfectly legal” and that only acting with violence to advance those views is a criminal offence.

So it’s not illegal to hold traditional values but it’s still extremist. Thanks for that clarification Ms. Hitler.

The Gender Nazi’s statement did not materialize out of thin air, it is an expression of the RCMP’s twisted culture.
