Sharks taken from waters off the coast of Brazil have tested positive for cocaine, confirming suspicions that sea life could be affected by drugs seeping into the water system as a result of the illegal drug trade.
Researchers bought 13 sharpnose sharks from small fishing vessels operating near Rio de Janeiro, dissected them, and tested their muscle and liver tissue for signs of contamination.

18 arrested in string of home invasions, robberies, and carjackings in Peel Region
Police say 18 suspects arrested in connection with a string of violent home invasions, carjackings and robberies in Peel Region are connected to an “organized criminal network” operating out of Brampton and Mississauga.
During a news conference on Tuesday morning, Peel Regional Police announced the results of Project Warlock, a six-month investigation into more than a dozen home invasions, armed robberies, and carjackings in the region.

“You’re full of shit today,” Mace said, prompting a brief reminder about decorum in the House. “You are being dishonest or lying. These are important questions that the American people want answers to and you’re just dodging.”
